"Matt, get up. You're going to be late for school," Flora Faze, Matt's mother, said. Flora is a middle-aged woman, of average size. She wasn't too heavy, but wasn't very light, either. Her skin was tan, and she was around 5'5". She had vibrant red hair, And tended to wear a lime-green sun hat. She had a smile that made you want to smile when you saw it.

"Ok, mom," Matt said groggily. Matt Faze is a dark-haired, slightly heavy, teen who is taller than average for his age(which is 15). He almost always wore a red and orange sweatshirt over whatever he wore, so very few people actually saw his shirt(which is plain white). He also wore orangish-yellow pants and yellow sneakers. As soon as he answered his mother, he fell asleep again. Upon seeing this, his mother shook him awake.

"Matt! You have to wake up!"

"Ok, ok! I'm up!" Matt replied.

"Ugg, this is so boring," Matt complained to Riley Winsor, an old friend. After rushing to get ready in time, Matt is now waiting for the school bus.

"I don't know, it's not so bad," Riley responded as she shuffled closer to Matt. Riley, an average-sized teen, had pale skin that didn't seem to tan, shoulder-length brown hair, and hazel eyes. Like Matt, she has an outfit that she almost always wears: a black hoodie, a black beanie, and black pants. She also wears blue-rimmed glasses and orange shoes. She also has a slightly obvious crush on Matt.

"Not so bad?! They expect us to wait for something that stops every two seconds!"

"Well, if we have to wait, at least we're waiting together." As she said that, the bus pulled up. "Aww..." Riley said under her breath.

As the bus pulled up to school, the bell rang.

"No! I can't be late again!" Matt exclaimed.

"Don't worry Matt, you'll make it," Riley reassured him.

They got off the bus, and started walking into school with everyone else, when a sudden gust of wind blew a paper out of Matt's hand.

"No! My report!" Matt said as he ran after the important paper.

"Matt! Wait up!" Riley called as she started running after him. Once they were the only ones left, something weird happened.

"Are these the ones?" a man hiding in the nearby woods said into his cell phone.

"Yes, do it," the voice on the other end said. The man then ran up and touched both of them with a strange device.

"Ah! What was that?" Matt exclaimed. They both started glowing, then they passed out.

Well, there's chapter 1. Still excepting OC's, check the introduction for the form. If I use an OC, like Riley, it would be helpful for their "creator" to review and tell me if I did them correctly. Tell me where you think they should wake up: the nearby woods, a strange building, or a place you come up with. That's about it.
