Chapter 11; A choice to make, lives to save.

Bella, Jacob and Charlie hear of a plan that may just be the thing they need to save their children.

Bella POV

We arrived home shortly after midnight to find my dad snoring on the sofa, a quick check found Jack sleeping soundly in his bed. Breathing a sigh of relief I sat on the sofa as Jake nudged my dad awake. The only one brave enough, and quick enough since my dad slept with a gun.

"Whawho'sthere?" He said all at once pointing his gun at the wall.

"Dad it's us." I sighed, he dropped his arm and wiped his eyes.

"How did it go, what did Carlisle say."

"A load of bullshit." Jake replied instantly.

"Carlisle was able to help bring the baby's heartbeat up, but there was some stuff revealed that has put a dampener on our plans for the future. So after an argument and a bit of a fight, we went to the hospital for a scan, we're only back. The good thing is the baby is completely fine." I explained.

"Who was fighting? And what was said."

"Bella and Edward were fighting." Jake said before I could stop him.

"What?" My dad shouted jumping up with gun in hand. "Did he hurt you?" He growled.

"He didn't get a chance to dad, I was the one who hurt him, these new powers that I'm getting to protect my baby are quite useful." I replied smiling. He smiled too and settled back onto the sofa so that we could explain to him what had happened.

"We have to do everything we can to make sure he stays away from the baby. I don't care what we have to do, we do it." My dad said once we had finished our explanations.

"This is what we want, but it will be difficult with him living within spiting distance of us." I said sighing, just then Jacob jumped up from where he was sitting and strained his ears to hear something. "Jacob what is it?" I asked worried jumping up.

"Someone has been detected on the line of the boarder, and I have been requested as back up." He said in a rush, he walked over to me and gave me a peck on the cheek, before taking three long strides to the door. He opened it and Sam strode in, in wolf form. Jake too one look at him, then at me. "Keep calm, remember?" He said before rushing out the door.

We waited only ten minutes before Jacob came back, he strode into the house and, to my surprise, Rosalie and Emmett followed. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We are here to help you escape. What ever way you decide to do it, we are going with you, it's the only chance you have of being completely protected, we may not be able to detect Vampires like Alice and Edward can, but we can detect them with a ten minute warning." Rosalie said in a defiant tone, she was standing at a stance, that I had only seen when she was getting ready to fight.

"That's very kind of you..." I stuttered...but we have no way of doing this, all our money is sunk into this house."

"We have money, and lots of it." Emmett said in reply.

"We aren't a charity case." Jacob growled, I knew he was still on high alert from the 'breech' and he didn't mean for it to sound nasty.

"It's not charity" Rosalie replied equally angry. I stepped in between the pair to stop any fighting.

"What Jacob means to say is thank you, but we can't take your money."

"Did you know that $20 million wouldn't make a dent in Carlisle's money."

"$20 million" I stuttered and he pulled out a letter that was from Carlisle and Esme.

Bella and Jacob,

Firstly, I want to say how sorry I am for what transpired in our house earlier. I should never have happened that way, we asked Edward to keep away from the house whilst we explained things to you, but you know what he's like.

Secondly, Esme and I along with Rosalie and Emmett don't agree with Edward trying to stake a claim on your unborn baby, despite the fact that it isn't 100% a fact that it's a girl, despite the fact that the movement is gaining power. I believe that there is still a chance that Edward is still in love with you Bella, it isn't all that easy for us to fall out of love with our 'singers', for me, Edward is the first case I've ever come across, and I believe that this is having an effect on his judgement.

Lastly, Esme and I want to help you, which is why we have given you this money, I know it is an awful lot to give away, we will gladly give it to you. We all meant what we said when we told you we'd do all that we can to keep you and your family safe, and even though Edward, Jasper and Alice's views on that have changed, ours haven't and this is truly the only way you can do it. We have given it in cash so that you can go anywhere without leaving a paper trail, Edward isn't above hiring a private investigator to look for Bella and the child.

Stick with Rosalie and Emmett, they are used to travelling and know where you can go to hide. We wish you all the luck and hope we will be able to see you again.

"You have $20 million in cash with you?" I asked stunned

"No, we will have it when you make the decision on whether to go or not. Emmett and I will also have $20 million of our own money."

"OK, so say we do this, then what is the plan? I mean we can't exactly live with $40 million in whatever house we choose to live in."

"We move somewhere remote, a small country far away from here, the further away the better. Carlisle can organise for us to get new passports so that we can't be tracked, most likely Edward will know what each of our passport numbers are so it will be safer, but that will take about two weeks. Alice can't follow our future because of the pack, and Emmett and I have plenty of practice in hiding our decisions from her. It's the same with Edward. Now Charlie is the only on who can be followed. Edward won't get close enough to read your mind, but Alice can follow your visions, so you will need to stay on the res, with the pack." She explained in a rush.

"What about my job, I can't just walk out on that." My dad said.

"You have to, if you stay here then Edward will hound you for information on our whereabouts. Pack or no pack."

"It's the same with your dad Jacob, we all have to leave." Emmett added.

"How is this going to be possible, my dad can't fly." Jacob said.

"Carlisle said he got hold of your dads information, and said he can fly, just that no one would insure him to fly. But we won't need that with all the money we've got, we can pay for any hospital bill needed. Bit everything has to be in cash, there can not be any paper trail. Charlie, Carlisle said for you to right a letter to the police station, saying that you've had to leave because your daughter got very sick and needed to be taken to another city for specialist treatment, and Carlisle will validate it." Rosalie said.

"We have to leave a whole lot behind, I am the leader of the pack for Christ sake." Jacob snapped.

"It's for the sake of your child." Emmett said and Jacob snarled.

"He didn't mean anything by it." I whispered to Jake, and he calmed down.

"You have a second in command who would be willing to take over, you know that Jacob." Rosalie said. "Everyone will be told that Bella was really sick and had to be taken to a specialist hospital. This would send Edward all over America looking you, it would keep him busy for a while. The only ones who will know the truth are the ones included in the escape and Jacob's pack."

"Look, we will give you two days to decide, that's when Carlisle needs an answer so he can order the passports. Just remember, we are wanting to do this to keep Edward away from your kids, and to keep them safe." Emmett and walked to the door, with Rosalie in hand.

"Get some rest, and please think about our offer." Rosalie said and left.

"What are we going to do?" Jacob asked me, his voice was full of fear.

"Look, I know deep down in my heart that Edward wouldn't hurt our baby. But I don't want her growing up in that world, that life, the same with Jack. I want them safe, I think we should go."
