In the larger scheme of things, dressing yourself isn't that big of a deal. But it's more than you were able to do a few days ago, and as much as you enjoyed having Seamus dress you, there's a part of you that's celebrating the renewal of the simple ability to put on your own clothes.
Even as you struggle to pull the tee shirt down, you're still not sure that you're actually improving. It's been more than a month since you woke up, nearly a month since you left Saint Mungo's – and this is all you can do.
The Healers have told you that it will take time, that fine motor skills will return last, but you're still disheartened. There are times when you wonder why you even try.
But then strong hands help you pull down the tee shirt full, and you look into Seamus' bright blue eye, and you remember- you'll do anything for this boy. And if he asks you to try your best at getting better – well, that isn't really such a huge thing to want, is it?
I hope you guys liked it! As always, please don't forget to drop a review on your way out :)
