I think I'm gonna put the A/N's at the end of every chapter! I think y'all will enjoy this chapter because we take a look into Derek's past :o I'm sorry if I get any of it wrong! It's just my thought of how the fire happened and etc.

Recap of the last chapter:
"Did you guys know that Peter was here earlier? He said he was a better Alpha." Cassie murmured, looking over at Derek.
"HE WHAT!?" Derek and the pack shouted.
Casandra nodded, biting her lip "Y-Yeah.." She whispered, sitting up from her spot.
"It was right after Alli and Lydia went to the car to get me some pants and shoes. He came into the room and said something like 'Why don't you want anyone to see your sexy body?'" She shivered, standing up so she could stand against one of the walls.
"Did he touch you?" Isaac asked, his eyes flashed an amber color.
"N-No." She lied, feeling her heartbeat start to pick up speed.
"You're lying." Derek growled, taking a step towards her "Where. Did. He. Touch. You?"
She clenched her jaw "Nowhere bad. He just grabbed onto my chin and made his claws dig into the skin and then kissed my nose before he was gone." She shrugged, looking up at Derek with wide eyes.
Isaac stood up and walked over to Casandra "He won't touch you again. We'll make sure of it."
"Derek.. How did you become Alpha?" She asked, wrapping her arms around Derek's waist. Even if they just fought she needed to be near him.
Casandra knew that they had another threat. Peter Hale.
Derek wrapped his arms around Casandra, sighing as he got ready to tell her the story.
"When I was younger I made a mistake that made my whole family get killed.." He whispered, getting a faraway look in his eyes.
"Come on Der. I'll race you home!" Laura shouted as she darted into the woods, a small frown on her lips at the feeling of something missing.
Derek laughed, chasing after her with a wide smile. They just had a big dinner not too long ago. Him and Laura normally would take a run after they ate a big dinner.
After they got onto their land. That's when Derek and Laura could smell and hear what was happening at their house.
There were screams of pain and the smell of burning flesh.
"DEREK! STAY HERE. RUN IF I DON'T COME BACK!" Laura yelled to the 16 year old Derek as she ran up to the now half burnt down house.
Derek's eyes were wide as he stood in shock, tears in his eyes 'No. NO! This… Wait.' He thought, looking around the area when her invaded his wolf senses.
Kate had done it. It was Derek's fault that his family was now dead. That his pack was gone.
"D-Der.. It's.. It's not your fault. You didn't know she would do something like that." Casandra whispered, placing her hands on his shoulders.
He shook his head, scuffing.
"Me and Laura left and went to New York after that.. After we found out that Peter was in a comatose state."
"Derek. Calm down!" Laura whispered to Derek, wrapping her arms around his shoulder's once they got to a hotel in New York. It was 4 days after the fire and Derek was now feeling the guilt, grief, anger, and sorrow for the fire.
"L-Laura… We left them to die! We could have tried to save them all!" He yelled, pushing her away.
"I tried to Derek! I couldn't get everyone! Some of them had Wolfsbane in their systems and others were already too burnt to get out of the house!" She stood up, putting her hands on her hips.
"There was nothing else we could do. Derek you'll be okay. We'll be okay."
"What about Peter?" Derek whispered, looking up at his sister.
"He'll be fine. If anything happens I'll get a call from the hospital and I'll be back to Beacon Hills as fast as I can."
"Last year Laura got a call… She didn't tell me what it was but she was gone for a few weeks. She didn't call so I knew she was missing." Derek sighed "When I got here I found my sister. Dead. Cut in half."
"W-Who did that?" She gasped, covering her mouth.
"Someone who wanted to become an Alpha. Someone who knew that she was an Alpha. Peter."
"But Peter was in a Coma. How was he able to do that?"
"He's a Werewolf. His healing was slower than normal but once he was able to walk he killed her. Made it look like hunter's killed her. So I buried her next to the house."
Cassie nods, holding onto one of his hands "I'm guessing that's where the story actually begins?" She asked, biting her lip.
Derek nods, glaring over at Scott "This is where Scott and Stiles come in."
Scott looked up quickly, sheepishly smiling "Stiles came over to my house a day before school started saying that a couple of joggers found a body. But they only found half of the body and he wanted to go searching for the other half."
Casandra turned slowly, gasping at Scott "And you went!?" She shook her head "Wait.. I think I would have went too.. So you're off the hook." Derek shook his head at Casandra's words, rubbing her back softly.
"Well he ended up getting caught and he covered for me saying I was at home sleeping. Mr. Stilinski took Stiles to his car.. Leaving me in the woods by myself."
"While I was walking I ended up hearing something in the distance and before I knew it a whole bunch of deer came stampeding towards me!" He shook his head, looking up at Casandra.
"Wait. What? Did you get hurt?"
"No! I didn't get hurt at all. But I did lose my Inhaler while the deer were stampeding. So while I was looking for my Inhaler I found the other half of the body. I ended up getting slightly scared which resulted in me falling down a hill."
Isaac snickered, biting his lip "Did you scream?" He asked.
"I'm not gonna answer you Isaac. Like I was saying.. After I fell down the hill I heard a twig snap behind me. I turned to see a huge black werewolf with blood red eyes. It lunged and bit me."
Casandra nods "So that's how you became a Werewolf?" She asked, wincing "Oww.."
Scott nods "I'm lucky the bite took." He murmured.
"What does that mean?" Casandra asked, biting her lip.
"The bite can be a gift.. But it can also be a death wish." Derek whispered. "If the bite takes then you're a werewolf. But if the bite doesn't take it kills you."
Cassie nods slowly, blinking up at Derek before gasping "Wait. Did you bite my brother?" She asked Derek, raising a brow.
"Yes but let me finish the story of how I became an Alpha." He whispered, placing a small kiss on her shoulder.
"After Scott was bit that meant I had to keep an eye on him. Well they found Laura's body after I buried her because of Scott's new senses. So Stiles had his dad come and arrest me for murder. I was released at least a day or so after that because they found wolf hair on Laura. And since I'm human they had to let me go."
"I'm dating an ex-murder suspect? That's… Hot." She smirked, leaning against a wall while keeping her hand locked with Derek's.
Derek chuckled "After all that happened Peter tried to kill Lydia, Jackson, Allison, Scott, and Stiles at the school. But since they couldn't say that my uncle was the one trying to kill them all.. Either Stiles or Scott decided to say that I was the one trying to kill them and that I had killed the janitor. So that made me the most wanted guy in the state. This was before Jackson, Lydia, and Allison knew about werewolves." He kept glaring at Scott with a stern look while Isaac and Cassie looked up at Derek with wide eyes as they listened closely.
"While I was on the run Kate Argent had come along because she had heard of all the killings and etc. I can't remember how long she was there before she ended up attacking me and chaining up in a cellar near my old house. That's when Allison found about werewolves. Scott came and helped me out and-"
"And Peter offered me the bite." Stiles said as he walked down the steps and into the kitchen. He returned moments later with two pops "You can continue on with your story, Sourwolf." He laughed, running up the stairs.
Derek rolled his eyes, shaking his head with a growl.
"And I think a few days later we all met up at the house-Can't really remember how it happened- and Peter killed Kate in front of Allison.." Derek said while looking over at said girl.
Cassie frowned at Allison "I'm so sorry, Alli."
"No. It's okay. She tried to make me kill my friends because she said they were monsters."
"Peter was killing off the people who were responsible for the fire. That night that he killed Kate is the night I became Alpha."
"You killed Peter. Like he killed your sister?" Cassie asked softly
"I didn't cut him in half. I just ripped his throat out."
Isaac's eyes became wide, looking at his Alpha "That's more graphic then I thought it was gonna be.." He chuckled nervously.
Derek shook his head, pulling Casandra close to him and making sure he laid a hand on Isaac's shoulder.
"And that's how I became Alpha."
-An hour later-
After the whole story telling Casandra and Derek sat on the couch together, waiting for Danny to get done tracing the call and text. The story telling took about an hour to do.
"Der.. Will I have to be a werewolf to be able to be your mate?" Cassie whispered, interlacing one of their hands.
"I don't know."
"Derek. I have an idea." She whispered, sitting up quickly. "I have a perfect idea!"
The pack glanced at her "What's the idea?" Allison asked.
"Well Alli… It's kinda a trick… I can make Ethan meet me in the woods alone. We can kidnap Ethan like they kidnapped Erica and Boyd!"
"That's a nice plan. But did you forget that we're all werewolves so we won't be able to do anything." Scott pointed out.
"I know a few fighting moves and Mr. Argent gave me a Taser! I can fight Ethan for a little bit before I Taser him. That will put enough shock into that you guys are able to knock him out and kidnap him!" She grinned brightly at her plan.
"You'll end up getting killed out there!" Derek spoke, fear in his eyes. "I'm not gonna let you go out there and get killed!"
"He won't kill me. I know what I'm gonna do Derek. We can do it in a few days. It will be perfect." She whispered, looking down at Derek "I promise."
Derek shook his head, pulling her to him so she could sit on his lap "Then let me be there to back you up just in case." He whispered.
"Okay.." She smiled softly, leaning in and kissing him.
Derek responded quickly, rubbing small circles onto her back with his left hand while his right bunched up Casandra's shirt a little.
Jackson, Isaac, and Scott all let out whines and gagging sounds "Please! Stop with the kissing!" Scott shouted.
Allison and Lydia let out small 'awws' "Leave them alone! Let's go see how Stiles and Danny are doing." Lydia said, standing up and pulling Jackson and Isaac up the stairs. Allison pulled Scott up and dragged him up the stairs by the ear.
Derek held onto her tightly, pulling away from the kiss slowly "Not now.." Derek whispered when he felt Casandra start to kiss down his jaw "We can't do that right now. Not for a while." He chuckled.
"Fine." She murmured, closing her eyes and laying her head on his shoulder "We will find them."
"I know." He whispered.

What did you guys think of this chapter? I actually had to rewatch the first episode of Teen Wolf because I couldn't remember how Scott was turned into a werewolf x3 This chapter is under 2,500 words! Yay! I'm trying to make the chapters longer than 1,000.
Oh yeah! I almost forgot! On Thursday I went shopping and bought myself The Fray, The Script, and OneRepublic Cd's! I'm flippen happy! Do any of you guys listen to them?
