Chapter 11
"This is it." Rias called happily as she turned the key and opened the door to my new apartment. Well, I should say "our" new apartment. At least that's what Raynare was calling it the whole way here. I looked back to see the fallen smiling and blushing at me as we followed Rias into the room. I'm so glad we could find her some normal clothes before we got over here. But why did it have to be the school gym uniform? Weird…not that I don't like it though…that top is oddly tight.
"Wow Rias. This place is really nice." I commented as I walked into the center of the living room and looked around. The door lead into a spacious living room with a small, three person, black cushion couch against one wall and a TV against the other. There was a small black foot rest across from the middle of the couch, and that was the only thing in the center of the room. The walls were painted a dark red and there was one small, square window over the couch.
"Why don't you have a look in the kitchen while Akeno and Ahri put their things in your room?" Rias asked and I nodded. I smiled at the two girls with luggage as they walked past me and through the kitchen towards our room. When did Ahri get clothes other than her maiden outfit? Why don't I have any new clothes yet? Man these old rags have a lot of holes.
"James, do you want me to cook something for us?" Raynare asked as she suddenly appeared beside me. I jumped back a little and she continued to walk towards me, pushing me into the kitchen. Was she this clingy before?
"Can you cook?" I questioned with an excited grin. A hot girl who can cook? I think I hit the jackpot with her. Raynare just stood there looking up at me with her hands behind her back…adorable.
"A little. And I'll learn to make anything you like." She said and walked towards the fridge. Did Rias already stock this place? Best. Master. Ever. What am I saying? Raynare is making me food! Best roommate\maybe girlfriend ever. I don't have to buy groceries again and I practically get free meals!
"Oh thank you so much Raynare, you do realize that guys love girls who can cook right?" I questioned and smiled at the girl. Is she seriously this sweet? Raynare just looked back at me with a blush while she was standing on her tip toes trying to put TV dinner in the microwave.
"I'm sorry James. I'll try to make some real food tomorrow. I hope this is okay for now though." She muttered and looked away from me with an embarrassed look on her face. I smiled and walked behind the girl while she punched some numbers in on the microwave. I wrapped my arms around her and held her tightly.
"Don't worry about it Raynare. Just relax for tonight okay? You had a rough day and I just want you to feel better." I whispered in her ear and the girl sighed in relief. I tried to step back and let go of her but she pushed against me more and more and even pressed my hands into her. I had completely forgotten anyone else was in the room until Rias coughed and got my attention.
"James, I had the movers put some of the clothes I got you in your room. There is also a phone and some other things on your bed. Please make yourself at home." Rias said from across the kitchen. Luckily, Raynare immediately let go of me when I started to skip\jump over to my loving Master.
"You really bought me clothes?" I asked in disbelief and Rias just nodded with her kind warm smile. She's so amazing! "Thank you so much Rias!" I yelled and pulled her into a hug. She giggled and blushed awkwardly at the sudden embrace.
"James it's just clothes. Calm down silly." She said and patted the back of my head. "Why are you crying on me!?" Rias yelled suddenly and jerked out of my grasp. I just stood there with teary eyes and this loving smile on my face.
"It's just that…it's been a long time since anyone has done anything nice for me. I can't remember the last time I had new clothes or a shower or someone to take care of me. There's this…really warm feeling in my chest and…it feels nice." I explained and Rias's shocked expression vanished. She looked at me with those curious eyes again before smiling and walking up to me. She cupped my cheek and gave me that loving look like she did the first time I meet her. Does she really still care about me this much? I've done nothing for her yet. I've actually just caused her trouble.
"Just let me worry about everything from now on James. I promise I'll take care of you as long as you serve me." Rias said warmly before pulling me closer and leaning so she was right next to my ear. "You are my cutest servant after all. Why would I want my favorite to be unhappy?" She whispered and my jaw dropped. Did Rias just say I was her favorite? Then I felt something soft and moist press against my cheek before Rias pulled away and left a bit of her pink lipstick on my face. Rias…
"Well I should be going now; I hope you four have a nice evening together. James, I need you to come see me after you bring the girls to school tomorrow." Rias instructed before walking across the living room and out the door. Where is she going?
"Why do I have to take all of them to school?" I asked to no one really and I was answered by something soft pressing against my back. I peeked over my shoulder and saw Ahri's adorable, white, fox ears right next to me. Her beautiful face was nuzzling against my back while she purred right in my ear.
"Because Rias enrolled Raynare and me in school and she has to get you enrolled as well." Ahri explained happily before pressing against me even more. I guess she's happy to be able to go to school? Or maybe it has something to do with me? I can't tell with girls. The better question is, why are her clothes so soft? And why is she purring? And why is she wrapping her tails around me?
Oh right. I forgot to mention that Ahri has nine, snow white fox tails. She's got a special little hole in her maid outfit to let them out. Wait...how is she going to go to school with fox tails sticking out? And how can she control them well enough to wrap around me so tightly? Fox maidens truly are a mystery aren't they?
"Oh okay that makes sense. So why don't we all eat and go to bed…" I said but trailed off when I peeked over my shoulder and saw that Ahri had been pressing her bare chest against me. I was now starring at the first pair of breasts I'd seen in my life and I felt blood trickle down my face.
"Ah…Ahri! What are you doing!? At least put a bra on!" I yelled in surprise and jumped out of her grasp, unable to look away from her. I could only stare at this girl who decided to walk around or new house with just lacy black underwear on. Fantastic.
I backed away and pressed against around the closed door, Ahri strutting up to me with every step. I bet Rias knew something like this was going to happen? What is this torture!? Ahri frowned before I heard her whimper slightly as she started walking back towards our room.
"Why doesn't my Master like the way I look?" She whined before walking back through the doorway. Now I feel awful. It was just surprising…I don't not like them. I hope she doesn't hate me.
"James~" Raynare sang from the kitchen as she stepped into the living room with two small TV diner trays. "I finished. Can we eat now?" She asked before handing me my tray with a smile. A fallen angel house wife…weird.
"Sure thing love. Uh…do you think Ahri hates me now?" I asked, still feeling pretty guilty about it. Raynare just giggled as she took a seat on the couch and patted the place next to her. I shrugged and sat down with her.
"Of course she doesn't. She's way too ga ga over you to feel that way. You should just show a little more appreciation towards her I suppose." Raynare suggested and started picking away her food. Wait, doesn't Raynare like me now? Why would she give suggestions about what I should do with other girls? Eh, I'm over thinking it.
"Okay, that makes sense. Thanks Raynare. Having you around is going to be wonderful." I told her happily and turned my attention towards my food. I looked away just in time to miss the fallen angel's blush.
"That smells wonderful." Akeno sang as she stepped out of the bedroom and into the living room. At least she didn't come out half naked. Well…those shorts and that top don't exactly leave much to the imagination.
"Raynare made us some TV dinners. Want some?" I asked and Akeno nodded. Raynare pointed towards the kitchen and Akeno walked away, smiling. We're just one big, happy family. Akeno came back in a few moments later and sat down on the other side of me.
"How is it James?" Raynare asked and gazed at me hesitantly. It's a TV dinner, how do you mess that up? I finished chewing and smiled at her.
"It's wonderful Raynare. Thanks." I answered and the girl smiled brightly. Kind of cliché but okay. Oh I forgot we had a TV!
"Does anything good come on in Japan this late at night?" I asked as I reached for the remote. Raynare and Akeno both shrugged and I simply pressed the on button. We were then graced by the sounds of women moaning and such. Apparently the last person in this room left it on the "late night" channel. Awesome.
"EHP!" I yelled and immediately turned the TV off. "Okay, we'll just eat dinner in silence then. That's fine. Hey Ahri! Come get some food." I called and didn't get an answer. Maybe she's upset. Ugh. Why can't girls be simple? I sighed and sat my plate down on the foot rest before walking into the bedroom.
Our bedroom was much smaller than the other rooms in the house. It was a single, Queen sized bed in the center of the room with a small closet next to it. There was a door out to a balcony on the opposite wall from the closet. And setting on the railing of the balcony was Ahri.
Her head was buried in her knees and her tails were wrapped around her waist like a blanket. Even her ears were sagging like she was upset. Well, at least she has her maiden outfit on now. That makes approaching her easier.
"Hey Ahri, you okay?" I asked as I slid the door to the balcony open. She just glanced over her shoulder and faintly smiled at me. I could tell whatever she was going to say would be false.
"I'm fine Master. Just not hungry." She responded and laid her chin back on her knees. I haven't been that nice to her, I'll admit that. But I didn't know she was this sensitive. Guess I haven't had that much experience with girls. Well…better start now.
"Want to talk?" I asked and climbed onto the railing with her. She looked a little shocked that I would sit with her but still upset. She couldn't keep eye contact and kept her head buried in her knees.
"Everything is fine Master. Just go eat dinner with the other two. I'll sleep out here." She responded and I frowned. I hate it when people shut me out. I remember when Elizabeth use to do it, that was the worst.
"Don't lie to me. You can tell me if something is wrong with you. What kind of Master would I be if I didn't care?" I asked and Ahri's face seemed to light up. She looked up suddenly and her mouth gapped open. She was starring right at me and jumped on me in a flash. We fell off the railing and she ended up pinning me to the balcony.
"You just called yourself my Master! You really do care? I'm not…I'm not annoying?" Ahri asked quickly as she hovered over me. Her eyes lit up as she looked down at me. The moonlight makes her look so cute. Those ears are actually really cute…
"Of course I do. I'm sorry I haven't been the nicest guy in the world. I just…I'm trying to get use to all this new stuff. I mean…I met you on my second day here and I'm just overwhelmed by it all. But I promise I'll be nicer to you Ahri." I confessed and Ahri's smile grew and grew. "And I did actually…uh…like your…boobs." I finished and the fox girl immediately clung onto me.
"Oh James! I knew you cared!" She exclaimed and pressed herself against me. She purred and snuggled against my chest, keeping me from standing back up. I just smiled and ran my hand along her back while I scratched her behind her ear. Apparently she really likes that.
"I'm glad I saved you Ahri." I told her and the girl just giggled. She didn't talk as her head moved up closer to my face and she kissed me check. She had a seductive grin and a twinkle in her eye.
"I am too. I'm really happy you agreed to be my master." She responded and I blushed. Her face and her words were too much for me. Haven't I had enough girl drama for one day? I mean, Raynare was enough right?!
"Why did you want a Master?" I asked curiously. "I mean, who would want to be in servitude to a devil servant? Didn't you have a home or something?" How did I not think of that before? What if I stole this girl from her homeland or something? What if her entire life is ruined because I saved her?
"Don't worry about it James. I didn't belong anywhere special, nor did I have much of a purpose in my life. Since you showed up in my life that day…I…" as she spoke she brought her head over mine and pressed our foreheads together, "I thought taking care of you and being with you would be as good a way to live my life as any. And since you saved me, it gave me an excuse to make you my Master." Ahri explained and started lowering her lips towards mine. "I'm so glad you accepted me." The fox girl finished and kissed me. We just laid on the balcony, kissing, for a few minutes. She moves her tongue very well considering she probably hasn't kissed anyone in her human form.
"Oh my oh my, what are you two doing?" Akeno asked from our bedroom. Ahri and I broke our kiss and looked over to see the black haired girl standing next to the bed. She was giggling into her hand and watching us with lustful eyes. Wait…why is she giving us a seductive look? She wanna join? Nah…too good to be true.
"Oh Akeno…uh…nothing. Everything is fine. Can we just go to bed please?" I responded quickly and tried my hardest to get out of Ahri's grip. Of course, as soon as I started moving, she dug her claws into my back. She has a funny way of marking her territory.
"Hey Akeno, where's James…." Raynare asked as she stepped into the room. She stopped talking when she looked over at Ahri and I and she just glared at the fox girl on top of me. "What's going on?" She asked angrily. "This is not what I meant by showing appreciation James."
"Raynare I can totally explain!" I yelled and tried to struggle out of Ahri's death grip. Again, the claws dug into my back. I should really learn when to just give up. And how come Raynare is upset? Akeno seemed okay with it.
"Please do. Ahri would you get off him so he can come in here?" Raynare asked and oddly enough, Ahri complied. The fox girl jumped off of me and sat on her knees next to me. Smiling warmly at me like nothing was wrong.
"Good girl." I said and patted the fox girl's head. She purred and giggled as I stood up and walked into the bedroom. Raynare pointed at the bed and I sat down and prepared myself for scolding. What is even happening?
"Why were you kissing her?" Raynare asked and I was about to rebuttal when Ahri decided to chime in. Good timing I might add. Not really.
"Well I am his servant. I like making my Master happy. It seemed fitting of the mood to kiss him so I did. He was saying such nice things." Ahri explained and Raynare gave me a look. I felt myself being beaten and neutered just from her look. What happened to the flirty housewife? Those gym clothes are gonna rip off and the scary girl in leather is gonna come out!
"Are you upset that you haven't kissed him yet?" Akeno asked and Raynare gave her a confused look. Oh no. This could go poorly.
"I did kiss him. I met him earlier today before all the stuff at the church happened. We talked all day and then kissed. It's how I found out that I liked him so much. And that he's a total guitar playing cutie." Raynare explained and the other two girls gave me the same "I'm going to castrate you" look. This isn't fun.
"Oh really? When was this James? Before or after you found out how worried I was about you?" Akeno asked and I scooted to the edge of the bed to avoid her. I just stuttered like an idiot while I tried my best to get out of her range.
"I uh…duh…well…you know how I left you and Rias with Asia? It was during that time." I told her and Akeno frowned. Wow. Never thought she had that expression. I feel bad.
"So while we were getting beat up, you were making out with a fallen?" Akeno questioned and I started to panic. Why does everything I do jeopardize my relationship with girls? Literally everything I've done so far has had a negative outcome.
"I didn't know. I'm really sorry Akeno. Can we just…go to bed now?" I asked. I was really tired from all the fighting and drama of the day and I just needed a good night's sleep. The girls sighed and walked out the bedroom, through the kitchen, and into the bathroom. Well, except for Ahri.
"Did I do something wrong Master?" Ahri asked as she walked into the room and sat down on the bed in front of me. I smiled at her and shook my head while reaching for her ear.
"Of course not. This is all my fault Ahri. I'm an idiot sometimes. I'm not use to having so many wonderful people in my life so I don't really know how to act just yet. I don't understand how girls work or how any of you feel, so for now I just have to try my best. Don't worry about it." I explained and started petting Ahri's tail. The girl smiled and laid against me. She pressed herself into my side and wrapped her arms around me, her breasts slightly escaping her outfit to wrap around my arm.
"I'm sure everything will work out Master. We'll all be okay. Raynare and Akeno aren't really mad, they're just confused. I can tell. You're fine. We just need some sleep." Ahri told me and I sighed in relief. I laid my head against a pillow and sunk into the mattress. Ahri climbed on top of me and laid her head on my chest.
"Well that's a relief. Today has been a really long day." I commented and I closed my eyes. As if on cue, I heard the doorbell ring. Come on! "Let me answer that Ahri, you go on to sleep." I told the girl on my chest and she happily complied. She slid off me and allowed me to hop off the bed. I dashed out of the room and almost ran into a…a…half naked…Raynare.
"Oh sorry Rayna…AH!" I screamed not just from surprise but the sudden burst of blood from my nose. I fell on my back in surprise and looked up at Raynare through hazy eyes. Wow she looks phenomenal. Why do these girls only have lacy underwear? Why is she only wearing underwear!? She had on a lacy blood red top that matched her black hair and panties perfectly. It felt like heaven.
"James? Are you okay? What's wrong?" Raynare asked. She looked down at me curiously and ended up squeezing her bust together even more. Yep. Heaven. (OW!) Dumb devil rules! As I was clutching my head in pain, Akeno walked up behind Raynare.
"Guess you're underwear was too much for him." Akeno commented and giggled at me. Oh right…sadist. I should probably get up. I started to stand but when I looked at Akeno the sudden spewing of blood sent me back to the floor. Akeno had pretty much the same kind of underwear as Raynare except hers was purple and really complimented her eyes.
"Come on you two. I just wanted to answer the door, not die from blood lose." I yelled and tried to stand again. Why do they look so confused? Don't they understand that this is all new to me and kind of the greatest thing I've seen in my entire life?
"What do you mean?" Raynare asked and Akeno started giggling even harder. She grabbed Raynare's shoulders and started pushing her into our room.
"I'll explain later Raynare, let's get some shut eye and let James answer the door." Akeno told the fallen one. I thanked her and turned to the door. I answered the door mid nose wipe and my jaw dropped at who was standing there.
"Hey kid!" The goblin boss said happily. "I knew this was the place. My contacts told me that the Gremory girl bought a new apartment." He continued as I stepped out into the hall. I really don't want the girls to see this.
"Uh hey…what are you doing here? Need something?" I asked hesitantly. The goblin chuckled and looked up at me with an odd smile.
"Nope. I'm here to do something for you. Ya see kid; I called up some of my fellow goblins in the U.S., primarily the one in New York. He told me a lot about you kid, probably more than her told you." The goblin explained and I leaned forward. What else was there to know?
"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously. Gotta play my cards right here. I don't know what this guy is planning and I feel like it could get me killed.
"Well kid, your old friend did some digging and found out a little something about your past that I don't think you knew. It turns out the murder of your old Master…uh…whats-her-face, was more than just a skirmish. Look like little Miss Black Magic got in pretty deep with some people." The goblin explained and I felt my mind go blank.
"TELL ME WHAT YOU KNOW NOW!" I yelled and grabbed the goblin by the collar. I slammed him against the wall and summoned a card to my hand. It shattered and was replaced by a molten revolver, which was pointed at the small green monster's head. The goblin was laughing and choking, trying to explain himself to me. He appeared to love my fiery temper. What's with this guy?
"Calm down kid I'm just relaying information." He explained and I got control of myself. I dropped him and took a step back, still holding onto the gun.
"Sorry…" I muttered and fell back against the wall. I looked across the hallway at the small monster. He was grinning at me and I felt uneasy.
"Listen up kid. Your old Master got a hit put on her. The angel that killed her was in league with a group of fallen angels that are still at large today. It wasn't an isolated incident. There is a large group of fallen angel bosses that took out your master and paid that angel off to kill her. Now, you want to know their names?" The goblin boss asked with a disgusting grin on his face. No way….no way this is real.
"If you're lying I swear…" I muttered and brought the gun up. I looked down the barrel right at the goblin's forehead. Just one click…
"I ain't lying kid. I got their names and all the info you need to take them out. The only question is: are you up for it? I can almost guarantee you'll come face to face with death constantly. Is revenge really worth it? I mean, they are still putting hits on people but…" The goblin asked and I gritted my teeth. I'm gonna kill Tento next time I see him. If he knew this and didn't tell me…
"Tento didn't think you were ready." The goblin said quickly. How did he know? "That's what he told me when I talked to him. He said he wanted to see how strong you got before giving you the info to take these guys out. Now, I don't think your all that strong but you got heart kid. Let's see what happens. You want in?" My mind was waging a war inside my head. This is probably dangerous but...it's for her.
"Hell yea. If they're the reason Elizabeth is dead…I'll kill every last one of them." I muttered and stepped forward. He's probably using me for his own gain or for the goblins gain as a whole but…I don't really care. No one deserves to live after what they did to her. I don't care what she was involved with…they die. The goblin extended his hand and I shook it. "You got yourself a deal." I told him and the goblin smiled. He put a piece of paper in my hand and it had a number on it.
"I'll call you once I get enough info one of them. You do little things for me; I'll have more time to get info. For now, just play it by ear alright? I'll keep in touch." He explained and started walking down the hall. I didn't know what to think as I watched him turn the corner and head for the stairs. I thought I finished that part of my life but…
"Elizabeth…" I muttered and clutched the piece of paper in my fist. The revolver disappeared and I stepped back into my apartment. I walked to the doorway to my room and smiled. The three girls were all sleeping in one big pile on the bed. "No room for me." I said and smiled. I looked at the couch and started to undress as I made my way there.
"I can't believe they're gonna make me get up in time for school tomorrow. I just wanna sleep from now on." I complained and laid on the soft black leather. "Thanks again Rias."
The goblin king walked out of the apartment building and into the black limo out front. He nodded at the frost giant that was holding the door open for him before climbing inside and having a seat. The lizard beast behind the wheel nodded into the rear view mirror before starting the car. The sleek black vehicle pulled out just as the goblin king pulled out a cigarette.
"Let's see what you can do kid. I knew there was something special about you. You're gonna be a fine ally in the days ahead." The goblin said to himself as he viewed the pictures of the black haired teenager beating up a huge troll. He smiled at the way the boy seemed to carelessly charge into battle, nothing really on his mind. The goblin kind blew a puff of smoke and looked at the starry sky above. "A fine ally indeed. Go get em kido."
