In the skies above Coast City Green Lantern was coming to the end of his patrol "looks like it's a quiet night, should probably radio J'onn in the tower and tell him everything's all clear" Hal Jordan announced to himself.
"Alert, Alert two energy signature of non-earth origins." Informed Hals ring.
"Location?"
"2 km due west of your current position"
Hal sped his way to the site of the unknown energy signatures and for someone that had seen the dead rise again was speechless with what he saw. Two figure resembling… well giant robots. No sooner than he began to process what he saw one of the robot opened fire, instinctively Hal threw up a shield but was still pushed back.
"What's that, Starscream you said they didn't know what energon was" Cried one of the robots
Energon? What the hell is that? Thought Hal. But before he could even blink an eye the robot called "Starscream" opened fire pushing him further back.
"Silence Skywarp, you ask to many questions just kill the insect."
Insect? Who the hell are they calling an insect? B before he could retaliate both machines opened fire. The relentless barrage of energy began to crack his shield, Hal concentrated as best he could but he knew it was useless. Eventually the strain took its toll and he blacked out and began to plummet to the cold, hard unforgiving ground below him.
Up in the Watchtower J'onn was assessing the situation, so far he had discovered three unknown energy signatures as peer protocol he was tracking these and they seemed to be converging in one place. Suddenly Batman appeared on his screen.
"J'onn I need emergency transportation" Cried Batman.
"Of course Bruce, I saw unknown energy signatures near Gotham are you alright?" asked J'onn
"I'm fine J'onn I'll fill you in when I get there I suggest you assemble the league"
The Founding members of the league were gathered around a conference table
"Where's Barry? Fastest man alive and he's still late" Joked Superman
"Not late Clark, took a detour" replied Barry between breaths.
Everyone turned to see The Flash enter with Hal draped over his shoulder
"By Hera is he alright?" asked Wonder Woman
"He's fine Dianna just out cold" said Batman
Suddenly an alarm sounded "We've detected another energy signature, its far larger than the rest, and- oh my god! There are energy signatures with in the station" cried J'onn
Suddenly from the rear of the room came a load deep voice
"Do not fear, we come in peace. I am Optimus Prime leader of the Autobots and I have come to ask for your aid."
