Chapter 14.

Walking into the house, Mark dropped his stuff down into the hallway, walking into the kitchen. He saw his Wife.

"Sandy"

Turning round Sandy gave her husband a soft smile.

"How she doing?"

Sandy sighed. "She's been out there all day, I didnt question her not going to school."

"She must be cold"

"I gave her a blanket, maybe you can talk her into coming inside."

Mark nodded, kissing her forhead, he made his way into the garden. Seeing JJ sat on the bench, wrapped in a blanket playing with her necklace.

"I'm guessing mom sent you out to get me to go inside?"

Mark nodded. "She did, but thought id stay with you a little bit"

JJ nodded,letting go of her necklace.

"How you doing kiddo?" Mark asked sitting next to her.

JJ sighed, looking at her dad. "Why did she do it?"

Mark sighed, wrapping his arm around her. "Honey, You know none of us really know right?"

JJ noddd, wiping the tear from her cheek. "I still have the image of finding her..."

"And you will forever honey,and as much as I wish I could stop you from having that image in your head, I can't but, your here with us and your a smart beautiful young woman. Who me and your mother are proud of, and I know Roz would be too"

JJ wiped the tears from her eyes. "I miss her, and I know she would of loved to come back here."

"I know she would."

"We better go inside"

Mark nodded, following his daughter inside.

Closing her locker, JJ saw Will stood at the end of the hallway, sighing, JJ walked over to him.

"Hey"

"Hi" JJ whispered"

"You okay?"

JJ nodded. "Yeah" she looked straight forward"

"Okay, just checking, ya know since you wern't in yesterday and.."

"I'm fine, and I'm late for class so."

"Okay" Will looked at her knowing something was wrong.

Walking away, JJ took a deep breath. "This time of year she always pushed people away, but this year was different. This year she really missed her sister.

"Anyone know what's up with JJ?" Will asked joining thier friends.

"No why?" Pen asked.

"She was just so cold with me right now, I asked her what was up, ya know not been in yesterday, and she totally went blank on me"

"Maybe she's just sick or something"

"Maybe" Will took a deep breath.

Walking into the house, Will made his way into the kitchen, grabbing a drink. Seeing his mother and JJ's mother chatting.

"So how's Jen doing?"

"It's a hard week for her. With Roz's death and all, but I think she's really missing her big sisster" Sandy sighed.

Will took a sip of his drink, listening to the convocation, dropping down his bag, Will picked up his phone and keys.

"Where you going?"

"Out, I'll be back soon"

Pulling up in the drive, Will got out knocking on the door. Waiting a few minutes, he saw JJ open the door.

"You could of told me"

JJ stepped aside, letting Will in. Crossing her arms over her chest, JJ sat down on the sofa, pulling her legs up to her chin, As Will sat down next to her, he took hold of her hand.

"I don't like to talk about it"

Will nodded. "I'm not asking you too, I just want you to know I'm here"

JJ nodded, looking at him. "Yesterday was the 6th Anniversary."

"How did she?" Will asked squeezing her hand

JJ looked at Will, moving closer to him she laid her head onto his chest, wrapping her arm around his stomach. "She cut her wrist, I found her in the bathtub"

Will took a deep breath closing his eyes, he ran his fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry, you had to see that, you were still a kid"

JJ nodded, wiping her eyes. "I know, I just wish I knew why she did it"

"Sometimes there's no real reason"

"I know that, I just really miss her"

"I remember how she used to always tease us, about how we liked each other"

JJ smiled. "Well she wasnt wrong"

"No she wasnt."

After sitting in silence cuddling for a while, Will sat up a little. "You feel better"

JJ nodded, leaning her head up, pecking his lips. "Yes, and I'm sorry for this morning"

"It's okay, just remember you don't have to hide from me okay"

JJ nodded. "I'll remember that"

Will smiled."I better go, I got homework"

JJ nodded, giving him a quick hug. "I love you"

"I love you too."

"So,I heard Will came by." Sandy said sitting on the edge of JJ's bed.

JJ nodded."I was kind of mean to him this morning, then he heard you talking to his mom."

Sandy nodded "You feel better now?"

"Yeah, I know I have people to help me get through it."

"That you do, and we still find it hard too"

"I know you do, and I'm sorry for that too"

"You are too good."

JJ smiled. "I'm trying"

"Get some sleep. And do your homework"

JJ laughed. "Yes mam"

Sandy laughed, leaving her daughters room, joning her husband downstairs.

"How she doing?"

"A lot better, I think talking to Will helped her, and knowing he can share a lot of the memories she has with Roz."

"Yeah, he's good for her"

"There good for one another."

"She's come far, since she wanted to come back"

"Your glad she started dating Will?"

"He's the only boy I think I will ever aprove of."

"Well I know I'm glad to hear that" Sandy smiled.
