My Response: Well then xD I'm glad you enjoy my story this way.
Chapter Two - What Happened?
N.
As you might have guessed, getting only a combined amount of two hours sleep is not enough to last for very long. Getting to bed at around midnight... Waking at 1:50am, again at 2:30am and then finally at 3:30am. My movements were sluggish from my heavy body, as if I had 100lbs worth of weights on my limbs and head. "Ugh Anah.. I'm getting old." Teasing myself patted her head that still lay on the floor. Gathering the courage, as well as the strength, found my way into the bathroom. A pinkish container in my hand, and now resting on the counter in wait.
After my... Business was taken care of, teeth brushed, washed my face with cold water to try and waken up more. Patting my face with a towel to dry it. "Next~." I sighed out opening the container, poking the gel with my index and middle finger. The soft substance was then rubbed all over my face, hydrating it in the minerals Gernier could make. "All clean and ready for work. Yosh!" Forcing a smile, found my dark blue jeans and black polo shirt. My hair was as spiky as it usually was, something I was unable to change in the least. Food in Anah's bowl, as well as water and was woken up for a moment to feed her her pill.
Food in my Hello Kitty bag, as well as some beverages... Left the house for a 45 minute drive to work where I get to change new plano's.

"Gaara." My name was called by the long haired male just to my right. Looking to him he smiled. "That was a pretty good performance." TenTen then popped up, wrapping her muscled arms around Neji in content. "It sure was! That was sweet of you Neji to write a song for your sister." Hinata came around just then grabbing a hold of my hand with a soft smile. "Gaara, please." She whispered against my arm, a bright blush adorning her features. Sighing out, nodded as we walked out of the building. "Thank you for doing this... I don't know what I would do if Neji found out."
"It's fine Hinata. If it's for you." She smiled softly, squeezing my arm that much tighter. "So, where is it this time?"
"A small neighborhood. I'll drive!" Giggling softly she hopped into the car with a slower walking me right behind her."Where am I to hang out when you're busy then?"
"You can sit in the living room?" Her soft childlike giggle fluttered to my ears. "Don't worry, I'll stay in the car. You have your fun. I'll just... Write."
"I can't thank you enough Gaara... You're really saving my sanity."
"As shall you with me, when the time comes I'm sure." I smirked a little, just for her. "Of course." Her smile was brighter, yet subdued.
Hinata drove to this little neighborhood she spoke of, as I sat outside with an octopus journal in hand, wrote songs that flowed through me onto paper.
"Shiiiiiittttah!" A loud cry was heard, a body leaving another house just across the street. The chilly winter air snipping all those that dared to venture out at such an early time. Rising a brow, watched this young person. The small Red Ford Fiesta purred to life, the body running around as another shadow ran around with them. A dog...
Just as I had thought that, the person ran to the lighted porch, opening the door as the animal entered and immediately the other ran to the car. Skitting out of the driveway fast and out of sight.
It has been a while after that. My contract with Neji's band nulled. He wanted to get an extension with everyone, and that is now why we are together in this stuffy room, lawyers sitting next to everyone in the room. "So, I think we should resign the contract stating that we will continue to be a band for another five years or so." Neji started, he was always particular with things like contracts and what not. Always wanting something to hold you back, stating it was fate when it was writen words that bound us together. Scoffing slightly rose from my seat. "Neji... Our music isn't the same as it used to be. I quit."t
And with that, turned and left out the door. My lawyer right behind me as we exited. Neji and TenTen jumped up in disbelief, Hinata stayed quiet, already aware of my plans. I could hear TenTen's screams of protest as she tried to follow me to change my mind. But the way things are, I didn't like it. The music just wasn't the same, to soft and 'with the world' in a way that was to... Hippie.
"Gaara! You can't just quit the band! We made this band as childhood friends! How can you just quit so easily?!" She yelled and stomped. Glancing her way, making her stop in her tracks (probably with the glare I gave) frowned at my words. "Just like this." Turned, and walked away to hopefully never return.
~*Time Skip*~
It's been at least a year since that time. I've been taking things easy, getting a smaller house so my money won't run out before I get into another band or get another job.
Walking down the road, heading to my favorite coffee shop passed this kid, guitar in hand and the case open as if to play for the money he received. Standing off to the side, waited for him to start playing again. His guitar a light blue color, orange ribbons flowing all around it in a delicate pattern, something beautiful on an acoustic guitar. Long slender fingers were connected to said guitar Tanned flesh that stretched to the slenderly tall body. A bright mop of bright blond hair greeted my eyes, as I pondered how I did not notice that first. Instantly, bright ocean blue eyes met my own paled eyes. You could tell he smiled just by his eyes as his right hand lifted and strummed against the tight strings to form a soft melody as he began to sing:
Should I offer up my hand
And save a wish for once
For all of us
And should I offer up my hand
And lay the guilt on myself
So it's easier, to not stay, to not stay
Because I found you in your corner
I pulled you out of the clouds
You left in such a hurry
Your face is lost in the crowd
Should I open up my eye's or just ignore who you are
And what you could have been
And should I open up my eye's and make believe you will change
So it's easier to not stay, to not stay
Because I found you in your corner
I pulled you out of the clouds
You left in such a hurry
Your face is lost in the crowd
A soft pause, his fingers strumming through notes after notes, a soft guitar solo that only perfected his song further. After some time, a good amount of time for a guitar solo his lips parted, air sucked in as he slowly released the air back to the world in a chorus.
Because I found you in your corner
I pulled you out of the clouds
You left in such a hurry
Your face got lost in the crowd
Because I found you in your corner
I pulled you out of the clouds
You left in such a hurry
Your face is lost in the crowd
Your face is lost in the crowd
Your face is lost in the crowd
He then ended it on a soft note. The sound lingering through the crowd, soft awes were heard, attempting to not interrupt the peace his voice brought. His eyes opened and they shown brighter than before, and in that moment everyone walked to him, giving him money and compliments of the like. I found myself in front of him in a matter of minutes, my feet taking me of my own knowledge. "That was good, you have a good voice." Pulling out a $100 bill, extended my hand, it concealed in the palm. He smiled so bright I thought I would go blind staring for to long. "Oh Kami, thank you so much! It means a great deal for me tat you said that! I-I loved- I- Ah~!" He seemed flustered, taking my hand in his own and shaking it nervously.
My mouth twitched slightly, wanting to smile. "Don't give me to much credit kid. I'm just another human walking the streets." With that, slipped him the money and walked off to the coffee shop just around the corner. "AH! W-Wait!" I heard him call, slightly ignoring him continued to walk on.
Entering the small shop, was greeted by the young female I have grown accustomed to. "Ah, hello Gaara." She smiled, not as brightly as the blonde male I had just witnessed.. But a smile none the less. "The usual?" She asked, turning her petite body to the side grabbing a ceramic mug with her indigo painted nails. "Yes Matsuri." Her light brown hair pulled back into two low pigtails. "Here you go!" Her slightly annoying voice was a disappointment to my ears after hearing such wonderful music before hand. "Thanks." I mumbled, paid and sat in my spot like I always do.
Sipping on my Mocha, the light brown color accented with a drizzle of chocolate made for the perfect sweet drink for such an afternoon. Pulling out my journal, a picture of an octopus on the cover, began to write out lyrics. I'm not sure how much time had passed, however I was forced out of my zone by a familiarly high voice. Turning my head to the left some, was faced once again with the ocean. "Hi!" He smiled, brightly once again. "Can I sit with you?"
Keeping my face a blank mask nodded, motioning for him to sit across from me. "Thanks! My name is Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki! Oh Kami, I'm a huge fan of your work. I can't believe I'm meeting THE Gaara." He seemed to squeal, very unmanly if you ask me. "I'm surprised anyone knows of me anymore." I commented under my breath closing my journal and taking a sip of my drink. "What? Who DOESN'T know of you! Your music in your last band was so great! But... What happened? It just seemed to... Decline?" He asked frowning, yet looked very perplexed. "They didn't find my lyrics appealing anymore." Deadpan, like always... "I see, I'm sorry to hear that.."
Shaking my head, finished off my mocha setting it off to the side. A few moments later Matsuri came over with a fresh cup, setting it down. "Here you go Gaara, this one's on me." She smiled and winked, taking my old cup. "Thank you." I smiled very slightly to show my thanks. Giggling like a little girl, she returned to the counter. "Hey! I have a band, would you like to be a part of it?" Naruto smiled, excitement clear in his demeanor. "Oh Kami! That would be soooooo awesome. I just... HAAA.. Though I would need to know if my band mates are alright with a new member. Though we were wanting one more to complete our band."
"What's your bands name?"
"Elemental Bijuu." Tilting his head to the side, eyes closed and smile as bright as the sun. "Sounds... Interesting." Was all I could say, the fact I was talking to this male was beyond me. "Ah," he looked around himself, pulling out a card with the number to a bar that usually allowed bands to play to get their popularity up. "We're playing here tonight, if you wanna come out and watch us. That would be great! And maybe afterwards we can talk about joining the band?" Chuckling softly he rose, guitar strapped to his back in it's protective case, and a frappuccino in the other hand. "Oh, I gotta say though. We have eight people in our band right at the moment."
"Eh?"
"See ya there Gaara! Can't wait!" He waved and left in a rush.
Eight people in their band... Why do they need so many members...? My mind swam at the thought of having so many people there. It was troubling to be in a band with jsut four people, on a occastion five people. Sighing softly, I as well rose after finishing off my mocha. Waved and said my goodbyes and see you tomorrow's to Matsuri and the other staff I have found myself being familiar with and left the small cafe to my apartment building to ponder things until tonight.
A/N: So, I know... This is weird xD I'm trying to keep him IC but at the same time trying to get the story moving instead of keeping it at a stand still... And this is what I have so far. Bare with me Dx
