Kon felt like he was on cloud nine—had been ever since Trina let him kiss her, smack on the lips. He let out a long, dreamy sigh for probably the millionth time over the course of the past two days. Trina hadn't tried anything since their last kiss besides peeking at him from her balcony, and Kon would just laugh and tilt his head back on the couch to wave 'hello' to her, which seemed to scare her back into her room. No one suspected that his usual daydreamy giggling was replaced by daydreamy giggling about Trina, not even his twin brother—though he was still a little suspicious about whether he'd fallen in love or not. Kon chuckled again; it was silly to call it "love" when it came to Trina, because he went into this thing with her—whatever 'this' was—knowing she'd never even like him, let alone love him. There wasn't any need to worry about him getting his heart broken when he already knew the truth about what would possibly break it. That didn't stop him from giggling like a schoolboy though.

Trina shivered under her sheets, cheeks pink with embarrassment. It was absolutely unfair and wrong that she would be hiding from him under any context, especially a kissy-type one. And yet here she was, balled up in an awkward mess in her comforter. She squeezed the fabric harder in her fists, hugging herself with her blanket.

"Stupid.. ugly, Kon." Trina hissed his named with smoldering detest. How dare he, she thought, try to control her in any way—try to hold her against him like she was his, because she definitely wasn't. Her lips trembled into a frown, before she burst from her sheets in another fit, kicking and flailing angrily. She hated him for this—for making her body whine for him when she thought about how big and strong he was, even if he was a total loser. Trina angrily threw her pillow at her wardrobe, knocking one of the doors ajar. "—STUPID UGLY KON!" She wailed, kicking frantically again. Trina hoped if she kept reminding herself of all of his faults, she could overcome any and all 'desire' she had for him. She scoffed; what was there to 'desire' anyway? He was fat, and smelly, and awkward—nothing good about any of those things. She flopped on her bed and squeezed one of her decorative pillows flat against her chest—and tall, and crazy strong, she added subconsciously. Her mouth twisted unhappily at that.

"Augh, why is this so hard!?" She sobbed, flinging herself onto her stomach and into her pillows. Trina was one-hundred-percent sure she hated Kon and every, single, one, of his guts, but she also knew that being held by a super strong guy felt really awesome—she was torn. She sniffed, snuggling into her pillows further; maybe she could work this out. If she just used him trying to be dominant for her own needs, than she would still be using him, and she would still be dominant!—she knew his game now, she'd just have to play it better.

Trina emerged from her room, make-up redone perfectly, outfit unwrinkled, hair brushed, and gave one last post-tantrum sniff for confidence. She had been avoiding him the same way that she used to make him run for cover, but no more. She slid her hand onto the guardrail, clicking her heels against the concrete stairs monotonously as she descended. No one but Kon seemed to notice her coming down the stairs, and no one seemed to notice how he greeted her with a wide, love-struck smile. The gesture made Trina's core shiver uncomfortably, but she stifled it with a pleasant smile back to him, which only seemed to make him beam more. She kept her slow pace as she crossed the garage, dragging her hand gently across Kon's shoulders as she passed him, which also went unnoticed. Kon straightened up at her touch, flipping his head around to follow her as she headed towards the bathroom and door inside. Trina turned back to look at him and gave him another smile before disappearing inside.

Kon watched after her for a few moments in awe before getting up and following her inside, thankful his friends were so accustomed to ignoring Trina, and most things, aside from what they were doing at the moment. He stumbled into the bathroom and shut the door, before entering the hallway and shutting the door there as well. Trina was waiting to greet him.

"Since when do you move that fast?" She teased, giving him a smiley sneer. Kon blinked a moment before laughing and rubbing his head.

"Uh.. since.. this was where I was headed? I guess." He looked up to her admiringly, still scratching the back of his head. Trina pouted a little, squinting at him as she moved closer to him.

"Stop flirting with me and junk." She frowned before nuzzling up into his neck. Kon felt static run up his back and arms, sending him upwards into perfect posture. He looked down at her hair buried under his chin before regaining his goofy grin. Hesitantly, he wrapped his arms around her and gave her a gentle squeeze.

"It's not 'flirting'.. I mean it." He smiled softer, placing a hand flat on her back. Trina stared out at nothing in overwhelmed embarrassment, before slipping her hands around his neck and pecking a small kiss under his chin. She smiled when she felt him shiver.

"You're not romantic." She purred, nuzzling the bridge of her nose roughly against his jaw. Kon giggled and, feeling a little braver, held her to him tighter. He couldn't see Trina's happy face from being squeezed so strongly, but he could feel her lips press to his neck again as she dotted kisses there. He whined.

"This has gotta be some kind of crazy dream.." Kon smiled more, leaning down to press his cheek into her hair. Trina laughed at that, placing her hands on his chest as she pulled away from his neck.

"A dream?" She wriggled her shoulders at him teasingly. Kon knew his cheeks were flushed red, but he was starting to get used to blushing in front of her. He flexed his arms a little to squeeze her again.

"Yeah.. it's too crazy to be real." He giggled. Trina twisted her smile, crinkling her nose at him.

"You're squishing me."

"Ah—! Oh, sorry!" Kon fumbled, releasing her from his grip. Trina gasped, throwing her arms around his neck in dismay.

"No!" She squealed. Kon halted his arms in confusion, looking down to her to see what he did wrong. She let out a long whine, squeezing his neck more and burying her face in the bend of it. Trina debated her choice of words a moment before looking back up at him and smiling coyly. "Mm.." She sighed. "..I like when you hold me.."

"Oh." Kon felt his face burn hotter as he watched her wiggle against him impatiently. He smiled and wrapped his arms around her again, pressing her against him happily. "I'd.. I'd totally hold you whenever you wanted.. if you wanted." Trina giggled at him, content once again while she was being held. She craned her neck up to look at him.

"Well duh—you'd do whatever I say, whenever I said to like, do it." Her eyes flickered, excited to see how he'd respond. Kon was a little surprised at her comment, but he relented with a sigh and gave her a dopey smile.

"Yeah." He sighed again, holding her to him a little tighter. Trina's eyes lit up in golden triumph—he was totally in love with her, or at least as far as she was concerned. She had him under her thumb all along, and here she had been worried she was losing control. There was nothing to worry about, she assured herself, now he was just willing. Trina squealed happily before wrapping her arms around his head and neck, pulling him down into a kiss. Kon managed to gasp in shock before their lips connected, at which instant he felt like he was melting all over again. He leaned down more, cradling her in a much lazier hug. Trina whined unhappily after a few seconds.

"Noo.. hold the back of my head—hold me tighter." She murmured against his mouth. Kon shivered, but smiled, eager to please her. He cupped the back of her head in his palm and pulled her waist against him with his free arm, dipping himself down further into the kiss. Trina hummed in approval, holding onto the back of his head while they moved into the kisses. This set of kissing drug on longer than their last hallway encounter, not that Kon could tell with his head so high in the clouds, or Trina being so high from her most recent victory. Despite herself, she couldn't hold in a soft moan from pursing against his lips. Kon shuddered, before smiling and shaking his head in blissful disbelief, breaking the kiss. Trina looked to him in glossed-over confusion, but he only sighed contently with his eyes shut. He looked to her again, holding her more gently.

"You're a dream." His smile was warm and admiring as he watched her rosy-pink eyes flicker again. Trina felt her face heat up under his adoring gaze, but she laughed it off as best she could.

"You're dumb." She bit her lip, still smiling. She stood up on her tiptoes and pecked him one last time before pulling away and trotting away to the kitchen. Kon stared after her in a daze before sighing happily again and turning back to head to the garage.

Kon drummed out a rhythm on his desk with a pencil lazily held in each hand. He was always a prolific daydreamer, but now that he had a.. whatever you might call Trina, his mind wandered tenfold. He smiled while he thought about her; what exactly would you call their relationship? Crushes didn't really fit right, and lovers sounded too intimate just yet. Kon felt his cheeks burn at that thought. Maybe friends with benefits?—but they weren't really friends. He smiled more, unable to keep his mind in one spot. He thought back again to their kisses, and holding her, and the little noises she'd make sometimes. A goofy smile spread wide across his face—it really did feel like a dream. He'd thought about kissing her so many times, it seemed impossible that he really had spent so much time smooching with her.

"Kon."

Kon looked up from his day dreaming to see his math teacher staring at him unhappily. He looked around and then down, and realized then that he'd broken the tops off of both of his pencils—he must have drummed a little too hard. He looked back up to his math teacher and smiled sheepishly.

"Uh, sorry." He laughed nervously, and sighed in relief when she only gave him a warning and continued with the lecture. Kon breathed, smiling again, this time at the clock. At least it was Friday.

"Dude, Bloodlust Lake 4: The Lakening!" Kin balled up his fists, throwing them in the air.

"No dude, Jason Saves Christmas is a delightful holiday treat and gorey!" Corey frowned, poking his skinny friend's chest, making his squeak in pain. The two had been arguing about which gore flick to watch tonight for the past fifteen minutes, which had started to grate on their bassist's nerves fourteen minutes ago.

"Oh my God, I don't care which one you choose, but choose one!" Laney screamed at them, pushing her palms into her eyes. Corey gave her a childish frown.

"La~anes—! Tell Kin that Jason Saves Christmas is way better than Bloodlust Lake 4: The Lakening!" He pouted, pointing at Kin accusingly. Laney groaned.

"Why don't we just watch them both?" She stared at them. Kin and Corey returned her stare, and then looked to each other before laughing and agreeing to it. Laney stifled a scream with one of the couch cushions. Kon just laughed, happily munching on popcorn, content with whatever movie they were going to watch. The group piled onto the couch, situating themselves comfortably before clicking on the first movie of the night, Bloodlust Lake 4: The Lakening—Laney was able to convince Corey it'd be better to end the night with a 'lighter' tone. It was barely into the first ten minutes when Kon heard a now very familiar set of footsteps coming down the stairs and into the kitchen. He smiled at the sound of her, and quickly thought of a way he could get up to see her. Without thinking he dumped all the popcorn into his mouth and got up.

"I'll go get more." He tried to muffle out while he chewed, pointing to the bowl as he hurried out of the TV room. The group laughed at Kon's usual crazy antics, before going back to the movie without another thought about it. Kon jogged down the hall to the kitchen before pausing to swallow all the popcorn he'd used as a decoy. He let out a phew and held the bowl in front of him, staring at it for moral support. After a minute he tucked it under his arm and peeked into the kitchen to see Trina fiddling with the microwave. He smiled—she was so cute. Kon quietly entered the kitchen, undetected, and set the bowl down on the counter. He walked up behind her, still unnoticed, and wrapped his arms around her. Trina jumped, letting out a cut-off shriek.

"Oh my G—Kon!?" Trina's scream changed direction as she turned to see who was grabbing her. Kon stared at her in shock.

"W-woah—sh!" He put his finger to his lips, and in an instant Trina was just as concerned as he was at the problem at hand. They listened together, quietly, for any voices from the other room, only to hear high-pitched screaming from some poor girl being hacked to death on TV. They both sighed in relief and relaxed a moment, until Trina turned to him, infuriated.

"What do you think you're doing!?" She whisper-yelled to him, poking him in the chest. Kon stepped back nervously.

"I-I was just coming to see you—!" He gave her a nervous smile. "I didn't mean to scare you.." He took her hands, and gave them a little squeeze. Trina stared at him in disbelief—Kon had never made the first move before, and him doing so definitely scared her. She had just gotten back on track with controlling him, she wasn't going to have him messing it up again by just grabbing her whenever he felt like it. Trina raised her finger and opened her mouth, ready to chew him out, when his arms wrapped around her waist again. He pulled her into an embrace and smiled down at her contently. "I can't stop thinking about you, like, all the time always." Trina felt her hand lose all energy to jab and let it drop as her mouth wiggled into a cheeky smile. She shifted a little in his arms, settling on his chest.

"Yeah..?" Her voice hung expectantly. Kon smiled wider, cheeks tinting pink.

"Yeah." He nervously gave her forehead a kiss before nuzzling it. "I can't pay attention in class worth a darn—" He laughed. "—I even broke my pencil and my spare just like.. thinking about you, I dunno. I got in trouble." Kon shrugged, but kept chuckling. Trina's eyes sparkled in wonderment, more than happy to be affecting him much longer than their visits lasted. She slid her hands onto his shoulders and gave them a squeeze.

"Heehee—you do that.. a lot?" She arched her back, letting him pull her closer. Kon giggled and looked down.

"Too much, probably." He mused, side-eyeing her. Trina squealed happily and held either side of his face.

"Like totally no such thing." She smiled wider before giving him a kiss on the side of his mouth. Kon felt his spirit raise high as a kite, before settling back down into his shoes. He moved his arms to her upper back and hugged her, pressing his mouth to her hair and enjoying being so close to her. He let out a content sigh and let her go, hands still lingering with her fingertips.

"I.. I really, really love being.. this with you, Trina but um.." He paused, and shifted his mouth in thought. "What are we, exactly?" Trina cocked her head to the side in confusion, so he added: "Well I mean, I thought 'friends with benefits' but.. we're not really friends.. I meandon't get me wrong, I'd totally love to be—but we—" Trina pressed a finger to his lips, quieting him.

"What about, like just a kissationship?" She beamed before giving him a kiss where her finger used to be. Kon stared at her uncertainly and she frowned. "Like a relationship, but just for kissing and things!" She huffed. Kon perked up as if a light bulb lit up.

"Ohh, I get it." He gave her another quick hug before setting her down again. "I can deal with that." Trina smiled again and pinched his cheek, pulling on it too hard.

"You're too cute." She curled her lips into a coy smile before turning back to the microwave. "Now cook this thing for me." Kon raised an eyebrow in confusion before Trina opened it up from him to see an entire frozen dinner, box and all, sitting in there. Kon laughed and took it out from the microwave, tearing the box from it in a single go.

"Haha—you're supposed to take it out of the box." He waved the dinner at her before flipping over the box and reading the instructions. Trina scoffed.

"Well like how am I supposed to know that, or whatever?" She crossed her arms defiantly. Kon shook his head good-naturedly, and pulled a tiny knife out of the block on the counter. He twirled it around in his fingers idly as he read, like he did with his drumsticks, before catching it with the blade pointing downwards, and stabbing a few holes in the plastic film as directed. Trina watched in amazement, before frowning at him.

"Like why did you stab my dinner, and junk?" She asked accusingly, pointing to it. Kon looked to her and laughed again before showing her the box.

"It says to right here, see?" He pointed to a picture of the plastic venting steam out. "It helps it cook, I guess. I dunno, it's probably magic." Kon nodded. Trina 'oh'd at it and nodded along with him, buying the explanation. Kon tossed the frozen dinner back into the microwave and set it for three minutes. "Done and done." Trina smiled happily before squishing him against the counter in a hug.

"You're so~o sweet to me." She smiled more and gave him a kiss. She thought for a moment that maybe she was being too affectionate with him, but the thought was quickly lost when he held her tight again.

"Nahh.." Kon giggled and set a kiss on her lips, still excited by how bold doing so was. Trina smiled into it and wrapped her arms around his head, kissing him back greedily. Kon was more than happy to get kisses for approximately three minutes—he almost wished the dinner took longer to cook. When the timer went off, Trina pulled away from him and grabbed her canned ice tea and now properly cooked dinner. She moved in to nuzzle his chin again.

"See you later." She purred before turning tail and heading towards the stairs.

"C-can't wait." He waved after her, before dropping his hand and smiling lazily. It took him awhile before he realized he'd forgotten entirely about the popcorn, and movie night in general. Kon hurried to make some and throw it in the bowl, grabbing an extra armful of other yummy snacks to distract his friends from how long he'd been gone. He rushed to the TV room and threw the other snacks onto the coffee table while tossing the fresh bowl of popcorn onto his brother. Kon flopped down in his usual spot with a big thud, bouncing his friends up in the air unintentionally. Corey and Kin just laughed, and neither they nor Laney questioned why he was gone for way longer than it took to make some popcorn. Kon sighed in relief—crisis averted.

For now.
