I'm sorry this took so long! I've been on vacation, and I thought that would give me more time to write but I was definitely wrong :p I finally finished chapter 8 though, enjoy :)

"Clara, you are brilliant. Absolutely brilliant." The Doctor told her, admiring the sign she'd set up outside the front door of the bookshop with a wide grin on his face.

"I know I am." Her smile mirrored his as she took his hand and led him back inside.

"If this works, eventually we'll have enough money to redo the whole shop. It'll be like a new start." He said excitedly, lifting his hand twirling her around.

Clara giggled, putting a hand on his chest to steady herself. "We have to get enough money to keep Latimer from buying it first."

The mention of Latimer wiped the smile off the Doctor's face. "Yeah. Latimer."

"You know, you always make a face when you say his name." Clara pointed out.

"What face? I don't make a face." The Doctor defended, letting go of her hand to cross his arms.

"Yes you do. You scrunch up your nose like you just ate some yogurt that's gone bad."

"I do not! Do I really?"

"Yeah. But I find it kind of cute you're so jealous of him. Even though he was nice enough to give us an extra week to come up with the money."

The Doctor was just about to deny being jealous when Rose and David came down the stairs, followed by Jack. He gave Clara a look as if to say they'd continue this later, before turning to David. "Did she call yet?"

"She's on her way now." His brother answered, smiling widely. "Rory, too."

"Brilliant!" The Doctor clapped his hands together once.

Clara fought the urge to jump up and down in excitement. "I can't believe I'm finally going to meet Amelia Williams. She's a genius."

"And a hottie." Added Jack.

"And married." Rose pointed out, hitting him lightly on the arm.

"Her husband is definitely welcome to join in on the fun." That gained him an eye roll from everyone else in the room.

Clara turned to the Doctor, suddenly nervous. "What if this doesn't work? A whole 'Amelia Williams' week sounds great to me but... what if no one else cares?" She asked quietly, so only he could hear.

The Doctor leaned towards her, cupping her face with his hand and rubbing her cheek softly with his thumb. "It will work. Amy's famous, up there with J.K. Rowling. People will come from all over England to meet her." He promised, bringing his lips up to her forehead.

A small smile appeared on her face as she leaned slightly into his touch. "I really hope you're right."

"I'm always right."

That earned him a small laugh from Clara. "You like to think so, more like."

"Well I'm right this time." He pouted, straightening his back.

"Oh, come here." Clara brought her hands up to his shoulders, using them for leverage as she went up on her tiptoes and kissed him. It only lasted for a second, but it was enough to gain a reaction from the person who'd just walked through the door.

"That must be the girlfriend I've heard so much about." The thick Scottish accent made them all look towards the bright red-headed girl with excitement, and the Doctor even forgot to be embarrassed.

"Amelia Pond!"

"It's Williams now, Doctor."

"Nonsense."

David, Rose, and the Doctor all ran over to her at the same time, enveloping her in a tight group hug. Next came Jack, who took her hand and brought it up to his lips, but a stern look from David told him he wasn't allowed to say anything but "hello again."

Finally, after a few words with Rose about her life in New York, Amy looked over at Clara, studying the new girl. "You must be Clara."

"Yeah, I am. It's really great to meet you, I've read all of your books." Clara answered, struggling to hold in her excitement.

Amy glanced over at the Doctor, who was nodding enthusiastically at both of them. "I like her." She smiled. "How'd you ever get someone like her?"

Clara laughed at that, but the Doctor looked offended. "Hey!"

"Oh, lighten up, Raggedy Man." Amy told him, turning back to Clara and linking their arms together. "Come on, I need all the gossip I can get about this group, I've been gone for a while and all I know is what Rose tells me." She said, leading them toward the reading area.

"Okay, but first you have to tell me the story behind 'Raggedy Man'"

The Doctor watched them go with his jaw hanging open. "That was fast." He muttered, debating wether he should go over there or not.

He had just decided it would be better to go and monitor what they were saying about him when someone else walked through the front door. He was carrying three luggage bags and struggling to fit them through. "A little help here?"

"Rory!" The Doctor smiled, his worries about what Amy and Clara might be saying about him forgotten for the moment.

"Yes, Doctor it's me. Now help me with Amy's stuff." He sounded tired. But once the bags were safely through the door, he greeted David and the Doctor with a hug and a pat on the back. "It's good to see you guys again." He said, hugging both Rose and Jack as well. Well, Jack hugged him. Tightly, and for a moment too long.

"It's good to see you again too Rory." Said Rose, giggling at the face he made when Jack finally let him go.

Clara and Amy became quick friends, and by the next day all preparations were finished, and the bookstore was ready for "Amelia Williams Week" to begin.

"Basically, it's a whole week dedicated to you and your books. Hopefully, with your level of success, it will attract more customers." Clara had explained, grinning from ear to ear. Already, the internet was blowing up about Amy's surprise visit to London, and soon the word would be out about where exactly she was staying.

"Let's get this party started then."

As always, thank you to everyone who reviewed or sent me messages on tumblr telling me what you thought! :) I also want to thank everyone for being so patient with these chapter updates, I know I'm slow, please forgive me.
