Hey everyone! I know it's been like roughly two weeks since I updated, but here I am with a new chapter! Yay!
This one is gonna be a doozy if it goes the way I planned!
We'll see, won't we?

~Kendall~
A month had passed since Kendall had learned he would be moving, which meant he only had a month to spend with Logan before he would be at Aunt Julie's; for all he knew, this might be the last time he would see the older teen, and he knew he wanted to make the most of it.
He hoped he could do it without breaking down completely though; he still hadn't gotten around to telling Logan that he was moving.
He was hoping he could get away with not doing it until the new school year rolled around.
Shaking his head to ignore the discomfort that came at the thought of not seeing Logan ever again, he packed his bag for the weekend.
He and Logan were going away to his mom's cabin for their anniversary; Kendall knew everything would be perfect. That afternoon, Logan would pick him up from school like he always did, but this time, instead of going straight home, they'd go straight there.
Kendall began to psych himself up for a weekend he hoped he would never forget.
…
~Carlos~
Carlos hated what he was about to do, but he knew he didn't have a choice. This had been coming for a while now, ever since the fire had happened.
He felt his heart twist in pain as he began to make his way into the school; he had to do this while he still had the nerve, otherwise they'd just keep running in circles around one another.
So, as he saw the familiar hazel eyes he loved, he felt his heart crack.
He had to stay strong.
He could do this.
Approaching James, who was talking happily with Logan, he took a deep breath.
"James, we need to talk." Carlos saw James stop mid-sentence as he turned his gaze to Carlos; he could see James put it together by the sound of Carlos' voice; he saw the exact moment those hazel eyes broke in front of him.
He knew his own held the same look.
"S-Sure," James said softly, reaching for Carlos' hand; Carlos let their fingers loosely intertwine as the two walked off to be on their own. When they were in a quiet part of the hallway, James let go of Carlos's hand. "What did you want to talk about?"
…
~James~
His voice wouldn't rise above a whisper as he watched Carlos shift uncomfortably on his feet.
"James," he started out softly, blinking furiously as if to stop tears. "I can't… I can't do this anymore. I can't be with you anymore. I'm so sorry." James felt his heart break into thousands of tiny, miniscule pieces, but he kept his face composed.
"Oh." James didn't know what else to say. The guy he loved just dumped him. He felt so many conflicting emotions that his brain just seemed to shut down now. "Why?"
"I don't think I'll ever be able to give you what you want." James nodded at Carlos' statement, but he still felt like his heart had been ripped from his chest.
"Well… I…" He shook his head as he tried to find some words to describe his feelings. "Bye then Carlos."
"Bye," Carlos said sadly, not meeting James's eyes; James could see tears begin to pool in the black orbs that avoided him though. James pulled him into a hug, surprising them both. He felt Carlos tense and pressed a kiss to the short dark hair.
"I won't stop loving you." With that, James let go of Carlos and walked away; once he couldn't see the small Latino anymore, he felt tears slip down his cheeks. He wasn't even aware of where he was going until he was outside. Getting into his car, he began to drive home.
He couldn't be near him right now.
…
~Logan~
Logan was pretty sure he knew what had just happened between Carlos and James, so he just went on to class, trying not to let their inevitable break up interfere with the cheerful thoughts that lingered in his mind all during the school day. Even when he had gotten a message from James telling him what happened, he still thought about his weekend plans.
He didn't expect Kendall and him to have sex or anything like that, but they hadn't really spent any alone time in the last month; in fact, Kendall had even been a little distant towards him.
He had been afraid that Kendall was thinking of breaking up with him, but he figured he wouldn't do that since he agreed to their weekend away together.
As lunch rolled around, he found Camille and Carlos sitting together.
"It cool if I join you?" he asked the two younger teens, making them both nod. He sat next to his sister as he looked at Carlos, who was unusually silent and just poking at the food on his tray. Camille leaned over and patted Carlos's hand. He gave her a sad smile and went back to his food before he pushed the tray away.
"Logan… Camille…." he began, voice scratchy, eyes unwavering from the table top.
"Yeah?"
"Tell James… I feel the same," he murmured, shaking his head. "I have to go." They watched him go before Logan sighed.
"What is it?" Camille asked her brother, making him shake his head.
"I know I should feel bad for them, but…"
"You're excited about your weekend with Kendall?" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows at him. He looked at her and shook his head.
"You're my little sister, you shouldn't even been thinking like you are!" She just giggled and got up.
"I've got your brains brother dearest," she said with a smile, "and James' perverted-ness. See you later! Have fun this weekend!" His face flushed as he sat back in his seat.
His sister was crazy.
But he did plan on having a little fun this weekend.
…
~Kogan~
Kendall didn't want to feel too excited; his best friend had just broken up with the man he loved, and he knew he would be moping around, but Kendall also thought he was stupid; Carlos and James were perfect for each other, and he hoped they realized it before it was too late.
He forgot all about them though as Lynn skipped to him.
"So, you gonna do it this weekend?" she asked playfully, making him roll his eyes.
"I don't know," he murmured, scanning the parking lot for Logan's car.
"I know you're scared after what happened," she said softly as his now dark green eyes flashed to her in anger, "but wouldn't you rather have a good memory instead of that one?" He just nodded as Logan pulled up. "Have fun Kenny!" He shook his head and got in, throwing his duffel and backpack in the backseat.
"Hey Love," he said, leaning over to press a kiss to Kendall's lips. "How was school?"
"Fine. Didn't really pay attention," he murmured, making Logan laugh. "I was too busy thinking about this weekend."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah. It's gonna be fun right?"
"I sure as hell hope so."

James looked at his phone, his fingers hovering over the screen; in one swipe, he could send Carlos a message. He just wanted to know that he was okay.
But he knew that that was a stupid idea; he had broken up with him. Carlos should be making the first move.
But he also knew Carlos was as heartbroken as he was.
James knew where they went wrong; they had sex way too early in their relationship, and then the fire happened… He groaned and threw his phone down, only to hear it beep. Grabbing it, he felt his breath catch in his throat.
'Hey'
'Hey' he replied, smiling when he got a response almost instantly.
'I wanted to make sure you were ok'
'I've been better. You?'
'Same'
'Can I ask why?'
'You know why'
'I know. Just thought I'd ask'
'I'm sorry it didn't work out'
'Me too' A few minutes passed before James sent another message. 'I really won't stop loving you'
'I don't think I could stop loving you' James felt his breath catch again as he read that.
'Do you want to?'
'Never.'
…
Awwwww. So many things happening; Kendall's moving, Kendall and Logan are spending the weekend alone, Carlos and James broke up…
There's so many possible roads to take with all of this!
Guess we'll see which path I choose.
Thanks for reading!
