This chapter might piss some people off… But hey, can't make an omelette without cracking a few eggs, right? Just like you can't have a (hopefully) good story without a little tension every now and then.

Carlos sat at the local park, back hunched as he watched happy people walk around him; he glanced at his watch, seeing it was nearing six. It would be getting dark soon. Getting up, he shoved his hands in his pockets; watching his feet, he began the trek to his home.

He felt empty; he had broken up with James only a matter of hours ago, and it already felt like he was dying inside with every passing second. And what was his best friend doing while Carlos was here moping and dying inside? Why, Kendall was off with Logan for the weekend, doing only God knows what. Carlos sighed as he thought about this; he shouldn't be jealous of Kendall for having fun finally; he knew the boy needed it.

'Stop feeling guilty' he thought to himself, 'you and James weren't meant to be together anymore and you know it.'

'But I love him,' his heart argued. Carlos had to shake his head to get the internal argument to stop. Not watching where he was going, he bumped into a very hard chest, knocking him down.

"I'm so sorry!" a voice said as strong hands helped him up; Carlos had to blink a couple times until the guy in question came into view; he felt his mouth dry and his jaw fall open as he stared at him.

His eyes were a warm brown that had yellow-gold specks in them; his hair was messy, a rich auburn color that shown in the setting sun; he was tall and slim with slightly broad shoulders. Carlos was surprised to feel his face heat up in a blush as the guy surveyed him.

"No, I'm sorry," he said soflty, his eyes wide. "I wasn't watching where I was going." The guy grinned softly as he hands finally dropped from Carlos's arms.

"How about I make it up to you? Let me buy you dinner." Carlos was about to object when he felt his stomach stir at the mention of food.

"Well… Okay." Grinning, the guy began to walk, Carlos next to him.

"I'm Miles by the way."

"Carlos."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Carlos." Carlos felt his face heat up as Miles said his name.

He didn't know what was going on exactly, but he knew liked it.

Kendall was silent as they pulled up in front of the cabin; he knew what he wanted to do, but he could feel fear building up in him, drowning him in its feeling.

"Kendall?"

"Yeah?"

"You gonna get out?"

"Oh. Yeah," Kendall said weakly, shooting Logan a small smile. As he got out of the car and went to reach his stuff, Logan scooped it up in his hand.

"I'll get this. You go on inside okay?" Kendall nodded and hurried into the small wood cabin, his face heating up as he thought about what would be going on later if things turned out the way he hoped they would. "You okay?" he turned as Logan dropped off their stuff.

"Yeah." Logan grinned as Kendall leaned up a bit to press his lips to his. "I've never been better." Grinning, Kendall pulled Logan to the couch, connecting their lips again.

"Kendall, what are you doing?" Logan murmured as he was pushed into a sitting position before Kendall was in his lap, pressing his lips against his, fingers tangling in the dark brown locks. "Kendall."

"Please," Kendall whispered, pulling away. "I need this." Logan stroked his face as he considered his words.

"I don't want to hurt you."

"You won't. I know you won't." Logan sighed and pulled Kendall closer.

"If it gets to be too much…"

"I'll make you stop." This seemed to cheer Logan up a bit as he brushed his lips over Kendall's.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." At this one word, Logan broke; pulling Kendall's body flush against his, he attacked his lips with his own in a feverish kiss.

James stared at his ceiling as he felt his empty heart beat in his chest; he briefly closed his eyes before his phone rang out in a loud rock song.

"What?" he answered in a monotone voice, hearing loud music playing before a voice spoke.

"James!"

"Brandon?" he asked, recognizing his friend's voice. "What's up man?"

"I'm in town for the weekend. I hit up a party I heard about and was wondering if you wanted to come and hang with me?" James debated with himself as he thought about this; he and Brandon had been really close before Brandon's mom up and moved them one day. James felt himself smile; this was just what he needed.

"Sure. Where you at?"

"I'll text you the location. I can't wait to see you." James grinned at his friend's words; yes, this was just the distraction that he needed.

"So," Miles said as he bit into his dinner, "How old are you?" Carlos blushed and looked down at his food. "Hey, it's okay, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

"No… I'm 15." Miles stared at him in surprise before he grinned.

"Huh, I figured at least 17. Damn, you're young."

"Hey! ... Well how old are you?"

"20." Carlos choked on his food a bit as he met Miles' twinkling eyes.

"Really?!"

"Yeah." Carlos was silent as he let that sink in. "I hope that's not a problem…" Carlos looked up and found his eyes focused on him.

"No… I mean, why would it be?"

"Well..." Miles said slowly, "I wouldn't mind… getting to know you a bit more… If that was okay."

"Oh." Now Miles was silent as he waited for Carlos to continue. "I… don't mind, but I just got out of a relationship…"

"Well, we can still be friends can't we?"

"Yeah, totally. I'd like that."

"Great," Miles said softly, reaching for Carlos' hand. "I would too." Carlos blushed at the contact and met Miles eyes, gulping nervously. "I think we'll be great friends."

"Me too."

Kendall gasped as Logan leaned over him; there was nothing keeping them from each other except for their boxers, which clung to their heated skin.

"Kendall… are you sure you still want to do this?" Logan whispered, breathing hot kisses across his bare chest. Kendall leaned up and pressed a desperate kiss to Logan's lips.

"Yes, please. I need this. I can't live with that memory anymore. I need you."

"God Kendall," Logan whimpered, clutching the sheets in his hands. "Are you sure you won't regret it? Or me?"

"I could never regret you. Ever." Logan groaned as Kendall bucked underneath him. Biting his lip, he felt the last tiny bit of resistance that he had go out; pressing his lips to Kendall's, his fingers fumbled to remove their boxers. Kendall groaned as his legs were lifted up before he felt a lone finger push against him. His eyes snapped closed as memories of what happened to him before flashed before his eyes.

"I love you," Logan whispered as he pushed his finger in. Kendall's eyes opened and he grinned softly as Logan began to stretch him.

"I love you too." Logan smiled and kissed him as he removed his fingers and positioned himself to enter him.

"You ready?"

"Fuck yes." Logan chuckled and pushed into Kendall, who gasped at the movement.

"You okay?" Kendall nodded as he bit his lip. "I'm sorry it hurts Baby."

"No. It feels good." Logan smiled at that and pressed his lips to Kendall's as they began to move together. Kendall's eyes closed as his head fell back in pleasure as pleasurable moans escaped him. Logan grinned and pressed his lips against his skin. "God, Logan."

Kendall knew that his was the memory he needed; the last good thing he could have with Logan before they were separated.

James walked up to the party, seeing people all about, dancing, grinding, and drinking. He looked around until he met gray-blue eyes and a dimpled-filled smiling face.

"James!" James felt arms wrap around him as he hugged his friend back.

"Brandon. Man, it's been a while," he said, unable to keep the grin off his face as he surveyed his friend; Brandon was about his height, maybe an inch shorter or so, with honey blonde hair and gray-blue eyes.

"James, it's been way too long," Brandon said, meeting his eyes. "Man… how are you?"

"I've been better," James said with a nonchalant shrug. Brandon raised an eyebrow and then grabbed James hand, moving until he was right in front of him.

"Well," he said, his voice dropping, "let me help get your mind on happier things." James grinned and leaned a little closer, whispering as well.

"I'd like that." Not letting go of his wrist, Brandon pulled James into the wild party.

So, the question is, will anything happen with these new characters?

That is still up in the air at the moment.
So I guess we'll see.
