!NO, I DO NOT CONDONE SOME ACTIVITIES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS CHAPTER. THEY ARE WRITTEN SOLEY FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE STORY, AND THAT IS ALL!

Kendall looked at the now blank walls of his bedroom; in a matter of minutes, Aunt Julie would be there to take him and his sister away for the summer while his mom moved them somewhere; she still wouldn't tell them where though.

He grabbed his duffel bag and went to the living room, where his mom and sister were waiting. He looked at his mom, who gave him a tight-lipped smile.

"Oh honey, it'll be okay," she said, patting his head, "You'll see. Sophomore year will be much better than Freshman for you."

"But Logan won't be there." She didn't say anything but just patted his head again.

"You'll see. It'll be okay." Kendall just shrugged as he saw his Aunt's car pull up. Grabbing Katie's hand, the two of them went out to her car. As they drove off, their mom gave them one last long wave goodbye.

And they were gone.

Logan sulked in his room; Kendall had just texted him, telling him that he was leaving that morning, and he wouldn't be back until school started.

Logan gritted his teeth and stood up, hurrying out of his room, only to be stopped by James.

"What's up bro?" he asked, making Logan just want to roll his eyes.

"I'm just going out for a minute," he said, scooting past him.

"Loges."

"What?"

"Are you okay?"

"Are you?" he asked, whirling around on his brother, who took a step back. "I'm not faking my emotions, unlike someone."

"I'm not faking anything. I care about Brandon-"

"But you love Carlos."

"So? He doesn't love me. He left me. And this isn't about me! It's about you! Where are you going?"

"Out."

"What's going on Loges?"

"I just… I need some air. I'll be back later." James watched his brother storm out of the house before he turned back to go to his room, where Brandon was waiting.

"Hey," he said, giving him a light smile as he kissed his cheek. "Sorry for the holdup."

"You were talking to Logan. It's fine. Is he okay?"

"I don't think he's handling the whole 'Kendall gone all summer' thing very well."

"Yeah, I bet… How are you?"

"I'm fine."

"James. Don't lie to me. I know you still think about him." James closed his eyes briefly and pulled Brandon close to him.

"I love him still. And I wish I didn't." Brandon kissed his forehead and snuggled closer. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay. I knew going into this that I couldn't have your whole heart. I'm willing to wait, or, if it comes to it, give you away."

"You won't have to."

"James…"

"You won't."

"But if I do, I will. Because I do love you, and want you to be happy." James sighed sadly and Brandon chuckled, kissing him lightly. "It'll be okay. I'm still here for you, and I will be, even when this ends."

"I don't want it to end yet," James said, pushing Brandon to where he was lying across the bed. "Not yet."

"Then it won't," he murmured before capturing James lips with his own, letting them lose their-selves in their summer romance.

Carlos groaned as Miles pulled out of him, rolling them both over so they were lying on their backs. As he tried to catch his breath, Miles pulled him close.

"How was that?"

"As good as it always is," he said, propping his chin up on the older guy's chest and giving him a weary smile, which he returned tiredly.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Carlos."

"Miles." Miles watched as Carlos got up and slipped on his boxers before moving around to get his clothes on.

"What's on your mind Handsome?"

"I just… feel like something's…off. I don't know if it has to do with Kendall leaving or what, but something just feels…" Carlos trailed off, ending his sentence with a shrug. "Besides I have to get going. My mom is expecting to pick me up at the mall in about an hour."

"Okay," Miles said, getting up and finding his clothes as well. "Come on, I'll give you a ride."

Carlos shoved his hands in his pockets as his feet shuffled against the ground, head bent; he and Miles had been having sex for a couple weeks now, and although it was always fun and great… he still missed James.

He knew no one would compare to him.

Ever.

He was sure Miles knew this too, but he still tried to be a good boyfriend to Carlos, even if he wasn't fully there; he even told Carlos his scar was beautiful, knowing how sensitive he was about it.

Sighing to himself again, he didn't watch where he was going; colliding with someone's hard body left him on the floor of the mall.

"I'm so sorry!" a panicked voice called, making Carlos look up at the voice.

"James…" he whispered, "It's fine." James helped him up, both with matching blushes. James looked at his hand, which was still on Carlos's arm.

"It's good to see you," James said, his voice rough as he met Carlos's eyes.

"You too." Carlos went to turn away when James grip tightened on his arm.

"Carlos."

"Yeah?" James pulled him to him and pressed a hard kiss to his lips; they didn't care that they were in a crowded mall. All they knew was each other and the feel of their bodies pressed together and their lips meeting. Carlos pulled away, his breath coming in pants as he met James eyes.

"I've missed you."

"I've missed you too." The two just stared at each other before Carlos pulled away. "I…I need to go. My mom's gonna be here soon." James nodded but didn't let go of Carlos, who was still in his arms. James stared at him before he leaned down and captured his lips again, this time in a much softer, romantic kiss. Carlos melted against him before he came to his senses. "I can't," he whispered as he pulled away, his eyes pleading. "I'm sorry." James nodded and finally let go of him. Carlos turned quickly and began to walk away.

"I still love you." Carlos stopped and stared at him.

"I know. I still love you too." He gave James one last sad smile and ran off, leaving them both confused and alone.

"So Mr. Mitchell," the man in the suit said, looking over a pile of paperwork, "you sure this is what you want?"

"Yep," Logan said, leaning back in his seat, arms crossed over his chest. "You can see that I have all the necessary paperwork and the money."

"Yes yes of course… You sure you don't want a parent or guardian to co-sign?"

"Nope. We're all good here."

"Well then… Just sign here." Logan took the pen and quickly scrawled his signature before the man handed over a set of keys. "Enjoy your new motorcycle Mr. Mitchell."

"I will."

"YOU BOUGHT A WHAT?!" Logan's mom cried when he came home; he just sat at the table, twirling the keys around his finger.

"I used my own money."

"How on Earth did you have enough money for a motorcycle?"

"I was saving up to buy a better car. But this way I still have my car and my motorcycle."

"Okay Logan, I know you're upset about Kendall moving but-"

"WHAT?!" His mom stopped, her hands covering her mouth now. "What did you say?" She shook her head and met the worried eyes of her husband and her other two children, who were both staring at her, shocked. Logan didn't wait for a reply as he ran out to his bike. Speeding away, he was at Kendall's house in mere minutes. He jumped off his bike and fell to his knees in the front yard as he stared at the sign that was stuck in the grass.
