Wow, this story is still going. I'll try to wrap it up soon enough.

Thanks for reading so far!

No, I still don't own the Big Time Rush characters.

"What happened?" Carlos asked as soon as he got into James's car; he could practically feel the aggravation coming off of the older teen. James just shook his head and started driving. "James, talk to me. Please." James sighed and pulled over – Carlos was surprised to see them already in the parking lot of Logan's Home.

"My stepmom… she was talking shit about Kendall, and Logan, and then she started on you-"

"What did she say?!"

"She wants me to stop seeing you. Which I don't plan on doing, ever. So I stormed out and slammed the door in her face. I can't go home now," he said, laying his head on the steering wheel. "My dad is gonna kill me for doing that."

"Stay with me. My parents won't care. And I know you have money – buy you some clothes for a couple of days, let this cool down, and then go home." James looked at Carlos and smiled, even if it didn't reach his eyes.

"How are you so perfect?" Carlos just shrugged and James leaned over, kissing him quickly before he pulled away. "Oh, here," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small box. "You were wanting this, weren't you?" Carlos grinned now and grabbed the box from his hands, opening it.

"It's beautiful," he said, pulling the simple ring out and slipping it on his finger. "Thank you." James just smiled, obviously still upset about the fallout with his stepmom. "Come on, let's go see Logan and let him know what his mom did." James nodded and let Carlos drag him from the car and into the building.

"So, this is your room huh?" Kendall asked, looking around. Logan just sat there, frozen. "What's wrong? I'm surprised you're not all over me right now. Or should I leave?" Kendall meant it as a joke, but Logan could see the fear in his eyes.

"I'm just… I thought the other day was a fluke, and that you would go back to avoiding me – but here you are."

"Here I am," Kendall said, sitting next to Logan. "Your nurse seemed very surprised, but pleased, to see me."

"She's seen the picture," Logan said, indicating the photo. Kendall nodded and smiled as Logan linked their fingers together. "Thank you for coming," he said, not meeting Kendall's eyes.

"I don't have long. My mom will be back to get me eventually." Logan chuckled and Kendall leaned down awkwardly to put his head on the brunette's shoulder. "I love you."

"I love you too."

"Logan, what is this bullshit about you having a visitor?" An aggravated voice called out as someone barged in. The two looked up to see Jett standing there, a smug smile on his face, his eyes harsh. "Well buddy, looks like the other night worked out for you."

"You," Kendall said, standing up. Jett just smiled, not saying anything. "So this is where you went."

"I don't know what you mean Big Nose." Kendall balled his hands and glowered.

"I told you, don't call me that!"

"Do you two… know each other?" Jett and Kendall looked at Logan, who looked at them in confusion.

"You could say that."

"Well, Logan is just popular today isn't he?" Molly asked as James and Carlos walked into the back area; they had never been allowed here before. They had always met Logan in the commons area.

"He's had another visitor? Is it one of the usuals?" James asked, making the nurse shake her head.

"Oh no, a different one today."

"Who was it?" James asked, fearing that Logan's mom got to him before he could.

"A young man. About your height, messy blonde hair-"

"Kendall?!" Carlos spoke now, his eyes bright. She smiled and nodded.

"That's what he said his name was."

"He's here… Do you think…?" Carlos asked, making James shrug.

"One way to find out. Where's Logan's room?

….

"How do you two know each other?" Logan watched as Kendall glared at Jett, who just looked bored and slightly aggravated.

"We're… old, friends."

"No, we're not."

"Oh Big Nose-"

"Don't call me that!" Jett shrugged and leaned against the wall.

"I lived down the street from Big Nose here and Jumping Bean. They were, what, 3 years younger than me?" Kendall grunted in acknowledgement but didn't speak as he took a seat next to Logan, who wrapped an arm around him. "But then, they introduced me to…her." Kendall growled now, a low rumble in his throat. "She was… amazing. But there was the age difference. She was 13, I was 16. It was risky to even really be her friend…"

"But then you led her on."

"I didn't mean to! And I-"

"And you ditched her when she fucking fell in love with you, which we told her you would do. We might have been younger, but your reputation was well known to everyone."

"I didn't ditch her! I got put in here by her parents!" Kendall was silent at these words but looked at Jett. "That's right Big Nose. And you haven't talked to her lately have you?"

"…No… Why?"

"Who do you think I saw when Logan and I broke out of here?" Kendall's eyes widened and Jett nodded. "And I explained to her what happened. And guess what? She forgave me. So you should to."

"We'll see about that once I talk to her."

"Fine," Jett said, rolling his eyes as he walked out, bumping into Carlos. "Well hi Jumping Bean. Long time no see." He laughed and went into his room then. Carlos looked at him before he saw Kendall.

"Was that Jett?"

"Yeah, apparently he got put in here."

"Yeah… Wait! What are you doing here?" Kendall blushed and looked at Logan.

"You two take a seat. It's a long story."

"Hopefully not too long; we've got one for you too," James said, sitting down with Carlos.

"Well then, I'll shorten it; Jett and I broke out the other night, I saw Kendall, and we decided to give this another go. Your turn."

"I bitched out your mom for telling me to break up with Carlos and decided that, since I'm 18, and have my own bank account with enough money, I'm moving out. And I want you to move in with me." Before Logan could reply, Molly walked in.

"Logan, I've got some good news. Follow me."

"Whatever you've got to say, you can say in front of them; I'll tell them anyway."

"Well…" Molly said, crossing her arms. "I've been reading over your paperwork, and noticed something."

"What is it?"

"You're 18. Legally, you can check yourself out of here."

"What?"

So, there's that.

I feel like I could've done more, but I just wasn't feeling it yet. Does that make sense?

Anyways, thanks for reading.
