Taker's Plan

"Are you sure you're ready to do this? I mean I can confront him myself Meg." Shawn pleaded with me that following afternoon. We were now in Salt Lake City for Monday Night Raw, just 24 hours after I cost the Undertaker his title. I fixed my daring make-up before smoothing my yellow tube dress over my slim body. I tossed my long curls back and forth until they settled neatly over my shoulders while Shawn continued to beg me not to go to the ring.

"Everyone will be expecting me to make my way to that ring after what I did last night. If things go wrong then…only then can you come to that ring." I told him as I picked up my microphone and headed out the door.

"Damn it you're a hard woman to stop." He muttered as he followed me. "What does Hunter think of all of this?"

"He really doesn't want me to do this but he knows nothing is going to stop me from getting what I want. You two hired me as your manager for a reason and he now understands that I am only carrying out what you two hired me to do." I said as I placed my hand on my hip and continued my way to the ring. I couldn't help but notice the stares of fear from the other wrestlers as I walked past them. I wasn't certain at the time, but I was sure they were fearful of what was going to happen to me that night. However, I didn't really care what anyone thought. As far as I was concerned I was THE bitch who was running this show.

There were mixed reactions to the sound of my music but I simply smiled and strutted to the ring as always. When I got to the middle of the ring I waited for my music to be turned off before bringing the mic to my lips and laughing like a madman.

"Are you watching me Undertaker?" I asked as I grabbed the top rope and stared into the camera that was facing me. "Of course you are!"

"I'm not going to waste these people's time explaining why I cost you the World Heavyweight Championship last night because it's not that complicated to figure out! For the last year you've made my life a living HELL! But….but….hell hath no fury like a woman scorned my dear Deadman and you've made me very angry…."

The crowd exchanged words amoungst themselves while I smiled and walked back to the middle of the ring. "Now I heard that you were here tonight and after last night I'm not just hoping for a reaction….I'm counting on it."

Right after I spoke those words, the sound of the Undertaker's bell tolling rang through the arena. I smiled as he made his eerie entrance, walking down the ramp with his eyes fixed on me. I glared at him as he climbed into the ring, holding his own microphone as well. He stood in front of me surprisingly with a blank face. His face wore the wounds of the previous night including a small bruise on his forehead from my finisher.

"You've better got a good reason for doing what you did last night little girl." He said. "Because I have every intention on squeezing the life out of you…right now."

I smirked and tossed some of my hair over my shoulder. "Well for your information, I happen to have a few good reasons behind why I did what I did…but you're not stupid so I know you can figure them out. I know you're angry with me…and I know you want to hurt me in some way-"

"-oh you have no idea…" he growled as he got in my face.

I laughed and looked up into his sharp green eyes amused by his tough gaze. "And I'm willing to let that happen if…"

"..if?" he asked.

"If you give Shawn his rematch at WrestleMania. He's been begging you like crazy for that match and now here's your reason to face him."

His lips twitched before he looked away for a moment. When he turned back to me he gave me the answer Shawn had been dying to hear. "You're on…I accept."

I smiled and was about to walk away but he grabbed my arm and yanked me back in front of him. "However…if you truly want this…you'll BOTH have to put up something."

I laughed, "I told you…you could hurt me if you give him the match and win…what more do you want?"

He smirked and squeezed my arm harder. "I can hurt you right now or any other time if I want to…there's no need for me to wait until after the match."

"Then what do you want?" I asked.

"I'll give Shawn the match…he wins…he ends the streak…but if I win his career…is…over."

I gasped as the crowd reacted with a mixture of cheers and boos. I tried to pull away from him but he only pulled me closer this time resting his hand on my lower back.

"As for you…" he said as a smirk appeared on his face. "Although you've been a royal pain in my ass…I've enjoyed this little game of cat and mouse between us. I've especially enjoyed watching you grow as a manager and I think you're in need of a new client."

I raised my eyebrow, "What are you saying?"

"If I win at this year's WrestleMania, you will take me as your one and ONLY client." He said. "But I won't be like any other client…you're entire life will be centered on making me the happiest man alive. That means no Hunter…no Shawn…just me…you…and that pretty little daughter of yours."

I hadn't noticed but tears had formed in my eyes hearing this. I would have to give up the life as I know it…for a life that was all about the Undertaker. I pushed away from him suddenly feeling sick to my stomach. I turned away from him, raking my hands through my hair as I thought about his stipulations. Suddenly I heard Shawn's music but I didn't turn around immediately to greet him.

"Hold on just a damn minute!" he snapped when he got in the ring. "Making me give up my career is one thing but forcing her to spend the rest of her life with you is way out of line!"

"She put herself in this position Shawn…I thought even you would understand that." He said. "That's it Meaghan…Shawn's career and your freedom vs. The Streak."

"Meaghan you don't have to do this…I can live without this match!" Shawn said. "Please don't do this to yourself."

I raised my eyebrow at him, "Shawn…are you saying you don't think you can beat him?"

He froze for a moment and then sighed, "Ok…fine…you're on Deadman…"

The Undertaker smirked as Shawn took my hand and led me out of the ring. I was completely speechless for the rest of that night. I had no back-up plan for this nor was there really a way out of it. The only thing I could do now was wait and see what Shawn would do with the weeks he had left. I had faith he could beat the Undertaker and that was all I had left.
