Chapter 42 – Your Time is Up

Kira and Connor did exactly what they said and hitched a ride with Taylor back to her place. The others, save Shayla, Merrick and Annabelle, all followed for that's where their children were as well, though they didn't linger long after retrieving them. The two Pai Zhuq Masters, however, did. It was only too easy for them to talk Taylor and Eric in to letting them stay the night before they and the Quantum Ranger moved on to Silver Hills the following day; Taylor and Eric couldn't agree more that Ransik would be the next one to show up and Eric needed to be there to support the other Time Force Rangers, though Taylor would stay in Turtle Cove, not having much of a choice with Master Org having returned. Jane would also stay in Turtle Cove with her mother, both parents agreeing that the initial attack tended to be worse then the subsequent ones and so Jane was probably safest here where Master Org was falling back into his usual pattern of attack.

So, the next day, Kira and Connor headed out to Silver Hills with Eric, arriving in the still relatively early morning, Eric insisted they get an early start much to Kira and Connor's annoyance. He drove them directly to Bio-Lab, more specifically, the building dedicated to being the headquarters of the Silver Guardians. In the new regime that Lightspeed Rescue and the Silver Guardians' amalgamation had created, the name for which Kira could still not be bothered to learn, the Silver Guardians still existed and were considered the elite fighting force. The Rangers, of course, were still on top when it came to fighting, they always would be, but after them came the Silver Guardians then the standard officer who in a few years would be the equivalent of an S.P.D. Cadet. Kira supposed that in todays terms, matching them up against the regular police force which wouldn't be gotten rid of until S.P.D. was fully established, the Silver Guardians were like the Strategic Response Unit from one of Kira's favourite TV shows Flashpoint, having special training in weapons, tactics and psychological profiling, while the other standard officers, whose official name escaped her, were like standard police officers. As such, the main Silver Guardian headquarters was still at Bio-Lab which is where Kira and Connor found themselves warmly welcomed by Wes.

"Hey you two!" He said, coming up to them with a big smile and giving Kira a hug before shaking Connor's hand. "What are you doing here?"

"We think we're about to be faced with Ransik again." Eric answered for them. "Are the others here?"

"Yeah, they're all upstairs with dad. Nadira actually showed up not too long ago looking for help. Dad said she was pretty distraught so called us in. We were gonna call you, but Circuit said you were already on your way." Nadira had not been taken captive along side her father and it was a toss up as to the reason why. Unlike Ransik, who had had evil Mutant DNA inside him for years, Nadira had had no such thing. Her powers, like Karone's, came from her own innate abilities, she'd never actually had true evil coursing through her, but rather had just been raised to be evil. It was no secret that Thrax did not go after those who had not truly been evil but were merely raised that way or tricked somehow; they suspected this was because it was far easier to turn someone evil again then for the first time and Thrax didn't want to waste his time trying to turn strong opponents evil, with no guarantee that it would work. The other reason she might not have been taken was the fact that she was pregnant with her and Lucas' third child, and there was no doubt that had Thrax tried to take her, Lucas would have kicked his ass. Hard.

"Right, let's go." Eric said and the four of them headed up to Mr. Collins' office. Sure enough, the rest of the Time Force Rangers were there, crowded around a still obviously upset Nadira.

"What happened?" Asked Eric, concern lacing his voice.

"Ransik came to her." Lucas explained. "Said he wanted her to join him. He even tried to take her by force, but thankfully she got away." Nadira rubbed her small bump as tears silently fell down her face. She wasn't scared, she knew that even when evil, her father would never hurt her, or his grandkids, but seeing him that way after so many years, the Mutant DNA once again visible, speaking of how humans needed to pay for what they'd done to Mutants, and knowing what it had cost her family the last time he'd gone on his crusade, she was understandably upset; the pregnancy hormones didn't help either.

"We'll get him back Nadira." Kira told the pink haired woman. She seemed to be saying that a lot, to nearly every Ranger team they teamed up with, but with them all now knowing about the prophecy, it seemed to help to hear that the beings who they now knew had restored Earth after Venjix would see to the safe return of their family, and if her assurance helped, Kira would gladly say it a thousand more times. Nadira gave her a sad smile, for while Kira's words helped, it didn't ease the pain of seeing her father this way again, and reached over to grasp the younger girl's hand in a silent thanks.

"So what are you two doing here?" Trip asked.

"Thanks Trip. Definitely feeling the love." Connor joked.

"Not that we aren't glad to see you." Trip then rushed out.

"We teamed up with Wild Force yesterday." Kira answered.

"Well, I dunno if I'd say 'teamed up.' " Connor interrupted. "We never actually morphed or fought anything. We were more there for moral support and to get Annabelle to safety, though it proved unnecessary."

"Right. Anyways," Kira continued with an eye roll. Connor's words were true, but not really necessary to the point she was trying to make. "The point is Master Org has made his appearance. And since our enemies have been working in reverse chronological order, Ransik is next. We came to tell you, and help out if we could, but you obviously already know he's back so…"

"Thanks for the warning anyways." Said Katie. With nothing better to do for the time being, basically until Ransik showed up or till school let out and the Time Force Rangers needed to pick their kids up, they all sat in Mr. Collins' office and talked; Mr. Collins' himself leaving after about an hour to head to a board meeting, which Wes was so glad he didn't have to attend. They caught up on each others' lives having played broken telephone through their kids and Kira's brother for they hadn't actually seen each other or truly talked in awhile. Lucas and Nadira had been the first, apart from Wes and Jen of course, to get married and start a family. While the Pink and Red Rangers officially dated two weeks before getting engaged, the Blue Ranger and ex-villain had waited slightly longer, a few months, largely to not shock her father and have him revert to his old ways by killing Lucas. They'd then patiently waited until a few months after Jen and Wes' wedding before getting married themselves. For both couples the kids soon followed, though while Wes and Jen had only had Sky, Lucas and Nadira kept going and were on their third. Nadira had wanted a big family, having been alone with no one but her dad or Mutants for most of her life, a by-product of her dad being evil. Former playboy and self-styled 'cool guy' Lucas wasn't so sure until he held his baby son in his arms for the first time; he then told Nadira he was perfectly happy to have as many kids as she wanted. Katie and Trip had both met people outside the Ranger universe, getting married in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Katie's romance had been similar to the old style Hollywood musicals she loved so much, though without the singing. Her husband Jim was a Silver Guardian and it had basically been love at first sight for both of them and they'd stuck together like glue ever since.

Trip hadn't had such an easy time. Unlike Jim, who as a Silver Guardian knew the identities of the Time Force Rangers, before they went public alongside Lightspeed Rescue, his wife Sasha had not known and it had certainly been a shock for her when she found out. While surprising she quickly got over the Ranger bit and that would have been that, had he not also had to tell her that he was a Xybrian. He'd been very careful to always hide his gem from her, afraid what she'd think about her boyfriend having a practically all knowing gem in the middle of his forehead, but had eventually confessed all to her. She hadn't taken the being an alien part too well at first and walked away from him. Trip was sure it was over until she'd shown up a couple days later saying she didn't care if he was an Earthling or Xybrian, or whatever; two days without him had made her see she didn't want that. The two of them, unfortunately, could not have children together, their genetic make-up making that an impossibility. Trip looked human enough, but he wasn't. It was kind of like a cheetah and a leopard, they're both cats, they both look pretty similar, but they're not the same species. The two decided to adopt instead. As sad as it was, with all of the monster attacks there were more orphans in the United States, California mostly, then there'd ever been. They were the proud parents of two children, a daughter who they'd adopted when she was seven, now being thirteen, and a son who had recently turned two.

The Rangers pleasant afternoon of catching up was interrupted as a Ranger's afternoon usually is: by the alarms sounding an attack. Wes and Eric were the first two up, putting their radios back in their ears and ordering all units to gear up and prepare to move out. The others weren't far behind them, though Kira and Connor decided to stay back with Nadira. The pink haired fashionista proved to know her way around Mr. Collins' office for she immediately grabbed a remote and turned the TV on, tapping in to Bio-Lab's city wide monitoring system. Circuit joined them as well and so the four watched the battle unfold. Upon arriving downtown the Rangers were met with a familiar sight of a monster leading a group of Cyclobots, but what struck them as it being an odd familiar was the monster.

"Jetara?" Trip mumbled remembering that monster well for it was the first one they'd fought in the 21st century.

"But he's supposed to be in the cryo-prison in 3013!" Said Katie.

"I get how Ransik can help Thrax get to 2033 to bring Gruumm here," Jen said, all of them having been informed of that development. "But there's no way he could have gotten to 3013, broken into the cryo-prison, again, and escaped again."

"Especially without Alex or Captain Logan telling us about it." Lucas added.

"Why don't we speculate later and deal with him now?" Eric suggested as the monster continued to destroy the city. The Silver Guardians spread out and set up the more powerful weapons along with just pulling out their blasters, while Wes and Eric stepped forward with a megaphone.

"Stop!" Wes yelled, his voice carrying further then to the monster. "We are the Silver Guardians, and you are in violation of more laws then I care to count. Surrender now, or we will be forced to shoot!"

"Surrender? I don't think so!" Jetara raised his arm and send a blast their way; thankfully his aim hadn't improved since the last time they'd fought him.

"Open fire!" Eric commanded, the Silver Guardians reacting instantly. When the initial barrage of blaster fire was done, the Rangers took that as their cue to step in. Leaving the Cyclobots for the Guardians, save for those who got in their way, they headed towards the bigger threat.

"That's far enough Jetara!" Jen yelled as the six Rangers surrounded him. "I don't know how you got out of cryo-containment, or got to this century, but it ends here! Time Force! You're under arrest!" Not having fought any Mutants, or beings from the future where Time Force existed, in many years, none of them carried their badges around anymore and they all knew that this would not be the last battle with Jetara, for they couldn't contain him without their badges.

"Time Force?" Jetara sneered. "We're in the 21st century, Time Force doesn't exist!"

"It does so long as we're here!" Said Katie. "And we're sending you back to cryo-containment!"

"Just try it!" He'd had enough talking and so began the battle. With six Rangers against one monster it was not a long battle, and none of them even morphed. They were essentially waiting for him to retreat, for the only other way this could go would be he exposed his Mutant DNA and grew big, they called on the Zords, hoping that after all these years they were still on stand-by, and cryo-froze him again with no way to contain him until they retrieved their badges. Thankfully, Jetara was quick on the uptake and saw that he was outmatched, when they weren't even morphed, and so did exactly as they hoped and retreated, taking the two or three Cyclobots that had yet to be destroyed with him.

"Come on." Jen said taking charge, she and Wes always having split the leadership of the team, especially when it came to aspects of the 31st century, which Wes knew next to nothing about. "We need to contact the future." The others nodded in complete agreement.

"Alright pack it up!" Eric and Wes ordered as one. They all headed back to headquarters first, dropping off the Guardians and making sure no one was hurt, and those who were, though thankfully not seriously, were seen to before heading back to the cars, picking up two additions to their group along the way.

"Nadira said she'd pick up all the kids at school and daycare." Kira informed them.

"And don't worry dude," Connor added to Lucas, who'd opened his mouth to protest. "After what happened with Ransik we'd never let her go alone. And apparently Mr. Collins had the same thought cause there were a couple Guardians waiting outside his office with instructions to follow her wherever she went."

"And to take them all to his place after. He figured you'd all end up there eventually anyways." Feeling reassured, Lucas nodded and they all climbed back into the cars and headed out.

"Where are we going?" Kira asked.

"We need to contact the future." Jen answered. "That Mutant should be in cryo-containment in 3013."

"Wait, don't you need your holo-computer thing to contact the future?"

"Yep." Said Wes.

"Well isn't it locked away at Bio-Lab?"

"It was in 2006." Jen said with a bit of a laugh. "I can't believe you remember where our holo-com was almost ten years ago."

"Yeah well…" Kira didn't really have an answer so left it at that.

"It was a Bio-Lab." Wes explained. "But when we joined with Lightspeed Bio-Lab got some major renovations. We moved it to the Clock Tower, with some major protection courtesy of dad, and just haven't moved it back."

"The Clock Tower." Kira mumbled. "Isn't that where…"

"Our kids' future selves are staying?" Jen asked unnecessarily, knowing that if Kira remembered where the holo-com was kept in 2006 she'd remember where her friends were staying. "Yep." They arrived at the Clock Tower not long after and the Time Force Rangers all hesitated upon getting out of the cars. They'd purposefully avoided this place since Mr. Collins offered it to their children's future selves, both for their comfort and their kids' comfort, even though it was technically only Wes and Jen who had a kid who's future self was in this time as well, the other S.P.D. Rangers being the children of Lightspeed and Wild Force Rangers. But even if they weren't theirs biologically, they were still very close to them and this was going to be incredibly awkward.

"Maybe they're not here." Trip said hopefully. "Didn't they start up Nick-of-Time again? Maybe they're out on a job."

"Why don't Connor and I go check?" Kira suggested.

"Yeah, we can even get the holo-com for you, you don't even have to come inside."

"Unfortunately, the safety mechanism is locked to our DNA, just like our Chrono Morphers." Said Katie. "At least one of us has to go."

"We all go." Jen said with a tone of finality.

"We'll still go in first." Kira said. "They can leave for a bit if they don't want to see you." With relieved nods the Time Force Rangers sent them on their way. Kira and Connor entered the Clock Tower and saw no one around, only a sign placed next to a bell that said 'Ring for Service.' They did just that and it wasn't long before a familiar blonde came down the stairs.

"Welcome to Nick-Of-Time Odd Jobs, what can I-" Syd cut off as she actually looked up at who was here. "Kira! Connor!" She said with a bright smile, as she embraced them both.

"Hey Syd."

"What are you doing here? Wait, come on up, you can tell us all at once." She then proceeded to practically drag the two of them up the stairs to where the other S.P.D. Rangers were lounging. "Guys, look who's here!" Syd called gaining their attention. Upon seeing Kira and Connor the others reacted in a similar fashion as Syd had and the two were greeted with much enthusiasm.

"Alright, now tell us what you're doing here." Kira and Connor shared a look, the Yellow Ranger ultimately deciding she'd start.

"Ransik has appeared." She said, to which they didn't look shocked.

"Yeah we know." Jack said. "We have our own monitoring system. It goes off whenever it picks up Troobian energy, but also if there's an attack close by."

"We watched the one that happened today and figured Ransik must be back." Said Bridge.

"Yeah, well then I'm sure you know that means the Time Force Rangers are back in action." Said Connor, getting nods understanding. "Well what you might not know is that all the technology they have from the 31st century is locked away here…at the Clock Tower."

"And since, you know, technology from the future really can't fall into, well, into anyone's hands, Bio-Lab created a defense mechanism that's keyed only to the Time Force Rangers' DNA." Sky caught on fast.

"My parents are here aren't they?" Kira and Connor nodded.

"And the other Time Force Rangers." Connor added.

"Why don't we clear out for a bit?" Z suggested. "Go grab a pizza or something."

"That's what we were gonna suggest!" Kira shot a pleased smile at her fellow Yellow. While the others thought this was a very good idea, their escape was cut off by their monitoring system going off, the screen lighting up to reveal that Jetara had returned. Next thing any of them knew pounding footsteps were heard on the stairs and the six Time Force Rangers appeared, freezing at the top upon seeing their kid, and nieces and nephews, future selves.

"Man…" Sky moaned.

"Uh…hi…" Wes said. No one was sure what to do, save for one of them.

"There's no time for awkwardness!" Jen said forcefully. "We have to stop Jetara. Move!" She yelled the last word as she led the others up the second flight of stairs to the loft where the crate containing their equipment from the future was kept.

"If there was any doubt where you got your stick up the assness from…" Jack muttered to Sky with a smirk, earning a glare in return. Kira and Connor rolled their eyes and looked around, having never been to the Clock Tower before. It was pretty sparse, but incredibly cool. As they looked around, a glow began to form on the table, naturally drawing everyone's attention, and within a second it had appeared and disappeared, leaving behind some kind of clothes with a note on top. 'Time Force exists as long as you're around' was all it said, but it was enough for them to know who it was for.

"Hey Jen…!" Kira called as she took the clothes and the note upstairs. Jen took one look at it and nodded to Kira who went back downstairs with no more understanding then before, though she reported that Jen had obviously known. This proved true not two minutes later when all six Rangers came back into the main room, each of them wearing the same white Time Force uniform.

"It was from Alex." Jen explained as she did up her jacket and pulled her hair back into a ponytail. "The four of us still had our uniforms here, but not being from the future Wes and Eric never had one. Alex obviously thought it was about time they got one. From the future or not, they're a part of Time Force."

"Here." Lucas said as he and Eric came forward with a relatively large crate, placing it in front of Kira and Connor. "This is our stuff from the future. We'll come pick you, and it, up after."

"We'll take them to Bio-Lab." Sky called after them for they were all running down the stairs. However, while they would certainly take the two to Bio-Lab, they were all most definitely going to watch the battle first. For about two minutes the screen showed nothing save the Mutant attacking the city with the Silver Guardians, who had arrived not long ago, keeping the Cyclobots at bay. Eventually though, the Rangers did arrive.

"Jetara!" Jen yelled, the six of them rushing forwards and stopping in a line not far away from him.

"Time Force!" The six cried together, each of them holding out their badges.

"You're under arrest!" Jen finished.

"A change of clothes doesn't change a thing!" The Mutant snarled.

"You sure about that?" Wes asked. "Cause we've got one more change that will make all the difference! You guys ready?"

"Ready!"

"Time For, Time Force!"

"Quantum Power!"

"Time Force Red!"

"Time Force Pink!"

"Time Force Blue!"

"Time Force Green!"

"Time Force Yellow!"

"Time Force Quantum!"

"Power Rangers Time Force!"

"You will not defeat me!" Jetara said and launched on the attack. The Rangers split up, alternating between the Mutant and the Cyclobots. With the Guardians' help, the foot soldiers fell fast, and the Guardians then stepped aside and let the Rangers deal with Jetara; though they were ready to offer assistance if needed.

"V Weapons!"

"V1!"

"V2!"

"V3!"

"V4!"

"V5!"

"Quantum Defender!" The Rangers all called on their weapons and fired together. The blasts hit their target but weren't enough to finish him.

"Vortex Blaster!" Wes called, bringing them all together. Eric stood next to them, ready to fire his Quantum Defender alongside them once more.

"Fire!" The blast hit its mark and Jetara laid there unmoving for a moment before he stood again, reaching to uncover his Mutant DNA.

"Not this time Jetara!" Jen cried as she charged him. "Chrono Sabres! Time Strike!" Jumping into the air, Jen waved her Chrone Sabres in a circle, their power such that time froze for their intended target for but a moment, but that moment was enough to see a direct hit. By the time Jen landed on the ground, Jetara had fallen once again, this time going down in a fireball, the smoke dissipating to reveal a miniaturized Mutant.

"Your time is up." Jen muttered as she took her badge and held it above Jetara, using it to form a cryo-containment unit around the Mutant.

"Good work Jen." She heard Wes mumble as he came up beside her, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"We shouldn't have had to do this work at all." Jen shot back, not angry at Wes, but at the fact that it appeared it wasn't only an evil Ransik who was back. "I want answers." Wes merely nodded, thinking the same thing, and the two powered down and joined with the others, all of them heading back to Bio-Lab. Kira and Connor, along with the crate, were already there, waiting with Mr. Collins in his office, having been dropped off by the S.P.D. Rangers upon seeing that the battle was over, even though it technically hadn't ended yet.

"Here." Mr. Collins said upon seeing them enter his office. "Give it to Dr. Zaskin." He pointed to the Mutant inside its containment unit. "He'll put in the freezer."

"Oh…a regular freezer won't work." Trip said.

"Oh I know." Mr. Collins assured them. "Dr. Zaskin and his team have been working to create a cryo-containment freezer, with Circuit's specifications, of course."

"It's all set and ready to go!" Their robotic friend said. "My analysis says it's almost identical to the one we took from the Time Ship thirteen years ago. I even sent the schematics to Captain Logan to double check and he's cleared it for use!"

"Wait… you knew we were going to need cryo-containment freezer?" Wes asked his father as Jen handed off the Mutant, fully trusting Dr. Zaskin. "How long have you been working on it?"

"Since we were informed of Ransik's capture." Mr. Collins said. "And of course I didn't know we would need it, Wesley, but I'm a business man. I didn't get where I am by not planning for worst case scenarios."

"Let's contact Alex." Katie said. "Maybe he can tell us why we need the cryo-containment freezer in the first place." She wasn't going to get any disagreements and so Trip and Jen, the two closest to the crate, opened it and pulled out the holo-com, setting it up on the coffee table with everyone sitting on, or crowding around, the couch. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, Jen pressed the power button on the remote and the screen lit up, Alex appearing seconds later after hearing the signal saying he had a call.

"Jen." He greeted his former fiancée first, before greeting the others as well. "I had a feeling you would call."

"So the Mutants from the cryo-prison have escaped to the past then." Jen said despondently.

"No, they haven't." Alex replied, earning confused looks. "The cryo-prison is fully sealed, every Mutant accounted for."

"Then what…how…how is Jetara here in the past if he's accounted for in the future?" Trip asked.

"We don't know, Trip." Alex admitted. "The Mutants appearance in 2014 is causing a massive time paradox. Time Force is on full red alert and working around the clock to try and sort it all out."

"Red alert?!" Jen asked, remembering from the Time Force handbook that red alert meant a huge shift in time that if not stopped, could change the entire future as they knew it. "The future is changing that much?"

"From what we can see, there's no changes at all so far."

"Then what is going on? How can the Mutants be in 2014 and 3013?"

"We don't know."

"Ok, what am I missing here?" Connor asked. "Cause I'm completely lost."

"You're not the only one." Kira muttered.

"The Mutant we fought is the same one we fought nearly thirteen years ago." Lucas explained. "But that Mutant has been in cryo-containment ever since, and according to Alex, still is. It's not his past self or whatever, it's the same Mutant. He's in two different time periods at once."

"Couldn't it just be his future self? A self from further into the future then 3013?" Kira asked.

"It is possible, and we haven't ruled that possibility out yet." Alex said. "But unlike you, we have no way of contacting our future to ask. We assume they have the capabilities to contact us if needed, but they have yet to do so, which means either the problem is not from them…"

"Or the future beyond 3013 is bleak, and Time Force doesn't exist anymore." Trip finished. Alex nodded knowing that for a time paradox this big, Time Force of the future would contact them if the problem was coming from their time. The fact that they hadn't told Alex that either they were not in a position to contact them, meaning they were dealing with their own crisis, or they didn't have the technology to contact them, meaning something would happen in the future to destroy the world as they in 3013 knew it, meaning Time Force no longer existed.

"What can we do to help?" Wes asked his look-alike.

"Do what you do best: protect your present." Alex answered.

"But there's gotta be something else we can do." Eric insisted. "If the future is shifting as much as you're saying it is-"

"But I'm not saying it is. Our systems are going haywire, detecting a time paradox like Time Force has never seen, but nothing about the future has changed."

"Would you know if it did?" Connor asked. "I mean, if the change came from the past, would the people of the future know a change occurred? Wouldn't they just know nothing because whatever happened in the past, is just their past? Would they know the other future existed…aw hell I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. Time travel is too complicated."

"Yes it is complicated, and yes we would know, at least I would know. As I told the S.P.D. Rangers when I gave them the Time Stop bands, when something this big happens, The Power allows at least some of us to retain our knowledge of the other possible future to help ensure we stop the wrong one from coming to pass."

"So if the future hasn't changed…what does that mean…?" Kira asked, more to herself for Alex had made it clear that Time Force didn't have the answers.

"I have an idea." Alex said. "But we have no way to test it."

"What idea?" Jen asked, willing to take even the most farfetched idea at the moment.

"It is my belief that Thrax in your time is responsible. His power is great, you all know that, I believe he's used his power to bring the Mutants back to your time somehow without actually taking them from the future."

"Is that even possible?" Katie asked.

"You're a Time Force Officer Katie, what do you think?"

"I think I need to re-read the handbook." She muttered, not catching on to what Alex was getting at.

"Almost anything is possible when it comes to time." Alex spelled it out. "I believe that is what is causing the time paradox."

"But then why has nothing changed?" Lucas asked.

"Because the future isn't set in stone. Your final battle against Thrax has yet to happen, it could go either way. I believe that if Thrax is destroyed, if whatever power he used to bring the Mutants to 2014 is destroyed, that the time paradox will disappear and leave the future as it is."

"But no pressure." Kira muttered to Connor. "There's only the entire future riding on us stopping Thrax."

"Your power is legendary." Alex said, having heard Kira's comment. "Even a thousand years into the future nothing has ever come close to matching it. I don't know you personally, I don't know if you have what it takes to use that ultimate power to stop Thrax-"

"But we do." Jen cut Alex off. "We do know they have what it takes."

"Then have faith you will succeed." He then said with a small smile. "I know it would be pointless to tell you not to worry about the future, so I'll keep you informed." He told the Time Force Rangers. "The Zords are on standby when you need them, Circuit knows how to call them."

"Absolutely!"

"Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Time Force's resources are behind you fully in this battle." Alex said before finally cutting the connection. No one said anything, all of them lost in their own thoughts, thinking of the future, though whether their future or the future they came from depended upon the individual, while Kira and Connor tried to steel themselves for what was to come. They always knew the safety or destruction of the universe was up to them, but until now, the future that safety or destruction would bring was ambiguous. Seeing it, hearing what would happen if they failed, made them truly feel the entire weight of their task for the first time. And it scared the crap out of them.

A/N - Yay Time Force! It was an awesome season. And I don't actually have anything to say about this chapter, at least nothing I can think of right now, beyond that time travel is confusing. I don't have a better explanation for what's going on, but if you're so confused you completely don't get it, PM me and I'll try and explain better.

Review please!
