Here is the Epilogue of the story "Snow's Revenge", and I apologize for writing this so late. Also I don't own the Hunger Games trilogy, and I hope you all enjoy the story.
Epilogue: The wedding
Katniss
It had been three months since we decided to plan the wedding and after all the stuff that we have gone through. Every night I have the same nightmare of Snow trying to get me and just like every night Peeta comes to comfort me. But now we can finally be able to go and get married without anyone coming to ruin anything. I'm in my room at the once palace that belong to Snow, but now belongs to my family. As then my sister Prim came in as she said "Oh Katniss you look like an angel." I turned around as I said "Well you look just as beautiful" as I rubbed Prim's hair a little. I looked back to the mirror as I noticed all the details of the beautiful dress that Cinna made for me. With the white fabric and the pearls that went through the dress in curtain places that made the dress prefect. I looked over myself as Prim spoke again "Don't worry Katniss, everything will go as plan. Peeta will never leave you." As then Prim left the room, as I continued to look myself over the mirror to see if anything needed to be fixed.
Within the minute my prep fairies came in to my room and helped me with my hair, and make-up for my wedding. They got done everything as Venia spoke softly "You look so beautiful, and to think that we could have lost the both of you." As then Octavia started to cry as Flavius rubbed her back as he spoke "Now, now Octavia, Katniss is safe now. Snow's gone forever, never to hurt anyone ever again. Come on lets go help with the ceremony." Both him and Octavia left the room as Venia finished me up as I said "Venia do you think that Peeta will be happy with me. Do you think that Snow is really gone?" Venia looked at me as she said "Yes I truly believe that Snow is gone for good, and as for Peeta being happy with you. I know he loves you more than anything else in the whole world. Katniss dear you have nothing to worry about. Now how about we get you down that isle where your true love lies." As then both Venia and I walked out of my room and down the stairs of the palace. We even went outside of the palace to where the wedding is being held.
Peeta
I was standing in the room of the playroom as I was getting ready for the wedding as then Queen Everdeen came and as she said "I'm glad that you and my daughter are getting married. I've always known that the both of you would complete each other." I turned around to look at her as I said "I just wanted to thank you for giving me your blessing. I could have never have done this without you and everyone here. I hope Katniss doesn't have any second thoughts." Queen Everdeen came up to me as she gives me a hug as she said "I don't really think that she would ever have any second thoughts about this. Peeta she really does love you so much, and I know that you have seen it firsthand too." We were silent just for a second as Queen Everdeen spoke sweetly "I know that your mother is watching us from above and is rejoicing for your marriage to Katniss right now" I looked back at her as I nodded back to her knowing that she was right, and that my mother is looking down on us. We stop the hug and started to head out of the room; also we headed out of the palace to the very same place I took Katniss to, and there was a tree where it was meeting near the lake.
I got into place as Queen Everdeen sat down to where all the chairs that we had set up for the wedding. I stood there waiting for my Katniss as I heard a voice from behind me as it said "Are you ready Prince Peeta?" I looked back to see Ellie standing there in front of me; as I said "Yes I am, but what are you doing here?" Ellie smiled as she said "I am here to be your priestess my dear prince. I'm sure Cinna and Portia told you and Katniss." I looked back as I responded with "Well they told us that a Priestess was going to help us, but I guess they wanted to surprise us."
As then the music started as I saw Prim, Katniss's sister coming down the aisle. She wears a beautiful light blue dress that the sleeves hang off the shoulders a little, and her hair is done in a medieval style with baby's breath going through it. Gale with Johanna around his arm came right behind Prim as they walked down the aisle.
Gale came over to my side as Prim and Johanna came over to where Katniss would be standing to meet me. As then the music started to introduce the bride and the father. But since Katniss's father passed away a long time ago; Haymitch toke it upon himself to take Katniss down the aisle for our wedding day. There was my love Katniss looking like an angel sent down to me from god himself. She was in arms with Haymitch who was escorting her down the aisle. As they walked down towards me; I could help but try to come get her, as Ellie whispered out "Patience my prince, you'll have her soon." As then Katniss was with me in no time as Haymitch gave me her hand. Haymitch went to take his seat with Queen Everdeen as Ellie spoke kindly "Welcome honor guest to this joist event."
I looked into Katniss's eyes as Ellie continued "May I ask who is the one giving Princess Katniss way to this man?" Queen Everdeen spoke sweetly "My daughter Prim and I as well as Haymitch." Ellie continued once again "We are all here to give these two soul mates of the heart. Now Prince Peeta Mellark do you wish to say your vows to your love."
I looked at Katniss as I spoke my vows "Katniss ever since I saw you when I was little all I ever want were to get to know you. But I never got the chance when we were young, but when everything that has happened to us all I could think of how lucky I am to have you in my life. With everything that has happened to us I know that we can with stand anything, and I'm glad to have you in my life." I watch as Katniss smiled as Ellie spoke again "Now do you Princess Katniss wish to say a couple of vows to your love." Katniss spoke "Peeta when we came here all I could think about was you and I didn't know why. All that we have gone through, and everything that has happened to us I know now that we can handle anything that anyone would throw at us. Peeta Mellark I will always and forever will love you for the rest of my life."
Ellie spoke again "Now is time for the ceremony part of the wedding. Do you Prince Peeta Mellark take Princess Katniss Everdeen to be your wedded wife? To have and to hold; and sickness and in health, to death do you part shall you live?" I spoke with happiness "I do" and Ellie continued "Do you Princess Katniss Everdeen take Prince Peeta Mellark to be your husband? To sickness and in health, for richer and for poor, to death do you part shall you live?" Katniss smiled happily as she said "I do" as Ellie spoke sweetly again "I now pronounce you husband and wife. Prince Peeta you may kiss your beautiful bride." I smirked as I whispered "You don't have to tell me twice." I went up to my bride, lifted her veil and kissed her passionately as we all heard everyone whistle at us for our happiness.
Katniss
Peeta held my hand as we greeted our guests at the reception where it was held by the lake. I looked around to only see that everyone who came was having fun; until a strange lady came up to us saying "Oh hello my dear you look so beautiful I can't believe that you two finally did it." Both Peeta and I looked at this strange lady weird as Peeta spoke with caution "Who are you and what do you mean that we finally did it?" The strange lady only laughed a little, but then started to cry as she said "Oh just that you finally got Snow in his place in hell, and I know that your mother Peeta had made right decision to help you both. Which you'll be happy to know that your mother Peeta is in a good place right now, and she has sent me to tell you that she is happy for the both of you. And as for my name it's not important, but I have a gift to give for the both of you."
The lady gives us a strange looking gift as I open it up to only reveal that it was in fact a blanket. I looked up to the lady as I said "What is this? It's so beautiful." The lady smiled at us as she said "Well it's for your baby of course." I looked down to where I had placed my hand over my stomach as I whispered out "A baby" as Peeta grabbed me as he spoke out "A baby?" The lady spoke again "Oh yes, but don't worry this baby belongs to Peeta." Peeta and I looked at each other as the lady left us alone to feel our over joyed of the news. As then we turned back to our guest to tell them the good news of our pride and joy. That we were going to have a baby. Which everyone congratulate us of our news and we all felt like nothing could ever go wrong.
