Alex turned to her son, "Baby, I need your help."
"Why, Momma?"
"Because your Daddy's in trouble!" She gathered the boy into her arms, and tucked him into a blanket. Alex slowly went down the stairs.
Justin squared off against his son-to-be. The two were so alike, looks of absolute no quarter drawn onto their faces. Neither wanted to move- Lexie because he did not want to damage his past, and Justin... why wouldn't Justin do anything?
Alex peered at him. This was making this whole thing so much worse. Not just that her psycho ex... something, was back in her life making it all havoc. No. What's worse? He seems to care. To have compassion. Where was that when he had her pinned to the floor with railroad spikes?
Alex shook off the flashback. Evil Justin did nothing to help in this situation.
"Hey! Buzz off!" The men turned to look at the mother cradling her child, "It's me you want, and if I'm right, you cannot hurt me. Unless..." She motioned towards her son, "You think he won't hunt you down."
Lexie-the-elder inhaled offended, "Fine, come with me, and we'll talk."
"Just talk?"
Mason scoffed, "Oi! He's trying to kidnap you!" One look from Alex silenced him.
"Yes," Sighed the time-traveler, "Just talk."
Alex nodded, holding her baby close.
"I'm coming with you," Justin stepped in. Alex's eyes went wide.
"No!"
"You can't stop me," He growled tersely.
Lexie sighed again, "Give me your wand."
Once the arrangements had been made, Alex give young Lexie to Mason, "Be careful with him."
They disappeared in a flash of light.
