AN: And we're back with new chapters!

"Mr. and Mrs. Spencer, who are these people? I want them out, now," Merrygrove shouted in a panic.

Richard, in a rage, completely ignored the doctor and lunged at Shawn again. Fortunately, Lassiter and the chief caught him and held him back.

"I'll have no more of this. I'm calling the cops," Merrygrove insisted as he picked up his phone, dialing the police."

Glances shot nervously between the four. Richard made a move to call out something, but Lassiter clapped his hand over the man's mouth, and took him into a headlock, allowing Chief to move free to protest Merrygrove.

"Yes, Officer McNabb? Yes, thank you."

Chief stopped when she heard McNabb's name. He was currently sitting in their police car and was completely filled in on the situation via an earpiece on Chief. Chief smiled up at her detectives.

"I have an awful disturbance at my place – domestic dispute. Yes. My name is Dr. Merrygrove. I am at- oh, you're right around the corner? Perfect."

McNabb entered a few moments later. He approached Merrygrove and asked a few routine questions before being led to Richard and, maybe a bit too joyfully, arresting him.

"Wait, officer," Merrygrove called out. "There's these two as well! I don't know who they are but-"

Merrygrove glanced around. All eyes at the party were on the situation, so he pulled McNabb closer and whispered, "I've heard people outside at night and things keep going missing – but there might be a connection with them and-"

"No- no, Dr. Merrygrove," Juliet panicked. "They- uh, they're with me. They- they're my parents."

Another set of glances were exchanged throughout the group, this time shocked. To cover the confusion, Juliet pulled Lassiter and Chief into a hug. "Mom, dad, I've missed you!"

Lassiter, still stunned, patted Juliet awkwardly on the back and drew out the words, "I've missed you as well, daughter."

Chief glared at him and then picked up the act by caressing Juliet's head and pulling her in to place a kiss on her forehead.

"We were worried about you," she told Juliet and pulled Shawn in to join their hug.

"Alright then," Merrygrove nodded to McNabb and McNabb left with Richard in tow.

"You'll be fired all of you!"

"What is he talking about?"

Merrygrove turned back to the family, "I will not have you arrested, but you must leave at once. You don't understand the delicate balance of healing you have disrupted here. And the man you brought here-"

"We didn't bring him here," Chief insisted. "He followed us in. We thought he worked here or something. But when he started attacking our son-in-law, we had to hold him back."

"You don't know that man? How does he know Mr. and Mrs. Spencer then?"

The entire group went silent, caught in their lie, until Juliet put her head down and began to stutter, "I-it's my fault. I- Shawn had really upset me last month and- and I – I cheated on him with Richard. He- he didn't know- until now-"

Juliet looked timidly up at Shawn and then shot him a glare to follow along.

"Jules is that true?" Shawn backed away from her.

"Shawn, I- I love you and I regret it so much. I regretted it from the moment it started. It's why I couldn't talk to you for a week. But Shawn-" she reached for his hand but he pulled away.

"I-I love you too, Jules, but I don't know if we can work through this."

"Shawn, please. Can we at least try?" Juliet begged as tears began to spill the brims of her eyes.

"Yeah, Spencer," Lassie added, winking obnoxiously, before rubbing Juliet's head like a cat. "Give my baby girl a second chance."

"Look Shawn," Juliet added after giving Lassiter the stink eye. "We have worked out so much and we still have over a week left. Please, just give us until the end of the session to try and work on this and then I'll understand if you need to leave me, but please, just give me this chance. I know I don't deserve it, but please. Please, I don't want to lose you. I love you," Juliet finished as tears poured down her cheeks.

"Okay."

"Okay?" Juliet looked up at him.

"Y-Yes, okay," Shawn walked back to her. "I love you too. I'll do whatever it takes."

Shawn took her hand, kissed it and looked up at Merrygrove. Merrygrove had been looking on with utter shock, but realized he must respond.

"I- we can work through this. But I think you should be removed from group meetings for now. We will have emergency private ones for now." Turning to Juliet's 'parents' Merrygrove added, "Do you see why we cannot permit guests here? Now what on earth brought you here?"

Chief looked back at her favorite couple. Shawn had taken Juliet into his arms and she cried into his shoulder. She mentally thanked herself for sending those two undercover instead of Juliet and Lassiter, which would have inevitably failed.

"Juliet promised to call us every night once she got here. You see, we were the ones who recommended they try this. But she never called us and then we heard about the killings on the news and we got worried and needed to check on her ourselves."

"Alright, alright! Keep it down, please."

"So the killings are real!"

"Hush! Listen, you may stay until the end of the dance if you would keep it down and stay out of the way. Please, you've already caused enough damage!"

Chief walked over to Shawn and Juliet and placed a hand on Shawn's shoulder while she rubbed Juliet's back. "Please, Shawn. Have the power to forgive her. She really does love you."

"I know."

"Yeah," Lassiter chimed in, joining the group and placing his arm hesitantly around Chief and placing an ungraceful kiss on her hand before giving Juliet a noogie and adding, "And we know you two belong together."

Shawn grimaced before replying, "Thanks dad."

Then looking to Chief, Shawn motioned toward the woods and asked Juliet to talk outside. Taking his hand, Juliet followed him to the patio.

"Wow!"

"Yeah-"

"A lot of shit just went down- and a lot of great- acting," Shawn laughed nervously.

"Yeah. And a lot of- mixed signals."

"We should talk about that after-"

"Shawn, I'm ending things with Richard."

"Why- why would you do that?"

"Are you seriously asking me that? Look, I know that the kiss back there was just an act for you, but-" Juliet hesitated but decided to adhere to the lessons Merrygrove taught them and took the plunge, "but the feelings I confessed to you before- they still hold true. And for me that kiss was real. And I know you love Abigail, so I won't get in the way, but I don't want to live a lie with Richard. Plus he was a real dick."

"Jules, it was real for me too," Shawn smiled down at her before placing a light kiss on her lips.

He pulled back and smiled. He was about to lean down and kiss her again when he heard a rustling in the forest. That is what they were waiting for. Their conversation would have to wait. He motioned to Jules and asked, " What do you say, love-monkey? Want to go for a walk?"

Juliet rolled her eyes at him and let a smile slip. Shawn grabbed Juliet's hand and looked back to make sure Chief and Lassie were paying attention before walking out to the woods.

"Oh, lovely. It's everyone's favorite couple!"

"Drop the act. We know it was you."

"Oh, Romeo, whatever are you talking about?"

"See, that was your mistake. You got too cocky. The spirits told me it was you, but I just couldn't find any proof- until you decided to take it up a notch and show-off your Shakespearean skills. The messages and verses were a bit too much, don't you think? Yeah- a bit too showy offy," Shawn looked to Juliet. "A bit too show-offy?"

"Shawn-"

"What are you going on about?"

"How you're guilty."

"And what exactly am I guilty of?"

"Oh, you know- the whole sneaking in and stealing files to get secret information to go and kill the happy men who won a lovely cruise for finally reconciling with their spouses. You hid out in these woods to sneak in at night and take information and spy on the couples. That night we ran into you in the woods, you had mine and Jules' file. Then you'd wait until they were about to get their happy ending and kill the husband all because you couldn't have your happy ending."

"That's all nice, but I'd like to see you prove that when you're dead," she pulled out a knife and started to lunge at Shawn when Juliet pulled out a gun and yelled at her to drop it.

"Oh, that's nice, princess, but do you even know what you're fighting for? I bet he's caused you nothing but grief. I'm trying to help."

"I said drop it!"

"No," Patricia went to lunge at Shawn again, but this time Lassie and Chief jumped out from behind her.

Chief yelled, "SBPD. Drop the weapon or we will shoot."

The woman stopped and dropped the knife.

"Hands above your head," Lassiter called out as he went in for the arrest."

"Ha," Shawn had to add in fake anger, "I bite my thumb at you!"
