"Are the Lucian's gone?" Dan asked very nonchalantly.

"Heck if I know." I whispered. "Could you keep quiet? Ian might be trying to find us."

"But..." Dan said impatiently. "I cant stay crouched like this forever."

"Where are you little BRATS!" Said a thick female Russian voice.

The chilly melodic intervals in her voice had caused the hairs on the back of Dan's neck to become erect.

Yet surprisingly that voice was oddly familiar...

But it couldn't be her, thats impossible...

She had been burned to a crisp in the fire...

Suddenly a light flashed in front of me and Dan, blinding us temporarily.

In the midst of our disorientation I caught a glimpse of a face, a face that I believed I would never have to see again.

"Miss me dearies?"

"RUN DAN!" I yelled.

"But Amy I'm not leaving you" Dan whimpered.

"You've always been so stubborn Dan!" I roared. "Just leave me and try to find the clues!"

Before I could try to protect Dan from Irina I was instantly pulled away from her grasp.

"DAN!" I yelled "What the FUCK are you thinking?"

"I'm not letting my sister die today." He said.

"Come back here you bastards" She spat

"Run faster Amy she is gaining!" Dan yelled.

Before I could even look to calculate the distance between us I felt a sharp pain in my arm. "AGH FUCK!" I cursed. As I looked at my arm which had a small dart embedded into it.

"She hit me." Then it all went black.
