"The Pint-sized Avenging Crybaby! Ken Amada!" a male announcer said through the speaker as the whole school clapped with enthusiasm.
"what the! Wha-aaaah!" Ken's voice shouted as he fell
Ken Amada, a boy wearing a blue sleeveless unbuttoned button-up shirt, gray pants and neon orange sneakers. In his hand is a long black pole with a bladed tip that is in color orange.
"W-where am I? wait, is this a TV studio?" Ken muttered as he looked around,
Indeed he was inside a TV studio, which was painted in yellow, aside from the occasional black and white silhouettes that surrounded the room.
Stacks of old school TVs were seen and spot lights were suspended. A pillar of beams were also found inside the room, as if it was under renovation.
Cameras and speakers were also found scattered around the room.
A large TV hanged in the middle of the room flickered to life as a girl with pigtails appeared.
"Ladies and Gentleman! The much anticipated battle tournament has finally begun! I Risette will be your commentator!" The girl on TV-Risette-said as she gave a flying kiss on TV.
"Here everyone gets to release their pent up anger and frustration on each other! Let's settle those little grudges once and for all!" Risette then clenched her right fist and punched it upward
"Wait? A battle tournament?" Ken voiced out his thoughts
"We will now begin our beary own P-1 grand prix, featuring the manliest of all men!" A colorful bear wearing a cap and a cape said as he replaced the girl from earlier
"N-no way! I didn't ask for this!" Ken shouted
"Hm? You're… ooh, looks like we have an unexpected challenger cutting in our fun!" The bear refers to Ken
"Challenger?! Hey! I was pushed here!" the spear-wielding boy shouted at the bear on TV
The bear just waved his index finger in reply as the screen fades to black.
"Found you!" A girl wearing a patterned skirt and a green jacket dashed towards the boy and stopped a few meters away from the said boy.
"You're the brother of the one who killed my master!" the girl shouted as she pointed her index finger at the person she was facing
"I don't have a brother!" Ken shouted in denial
"Stop denying! You are the brother of that bastard who fought my master and killed him!" The girl in green Jacket insisted.
"If you can't be convinced by words, looks like I'll have to beat some sense into you" the brunette boy said as he readied his spear.
And without a second word, Chie summoned her Persona
"Behold Chie-senpai's secret kung-fu style" the hanging TV nearby flickered on as the girl from before announced as she performed some butchered kung fu stances.
Ken summoned his Persona-Kala-Nemi-as electricity charged arrows appeared above Ken's head and rained down on Chie.
In response, Chie summoned her Persona-Tomoe-who launched her in the air, effectively dodging the rain of electric arrows.
The girl summoned her Persona again and it looks like she's strengthening her attacks
"ooh everyone's getting serious!" the girl on TV reappeared as he adjusted her headset
"Fists of Fury!" Chie shouted as her right fist punched her left palm, her Persona pointed the spear to the ground.
And a second later a big golden hand strikes the spear-wielding boy
"Is this the end?" Risette stated as he leaned over the monitor she is facing.
As Ken recovered, the jacket wearing girl dashed towards him and she performed a series of kicks and ended with a strong punch to his chest
"Oooh an awakening! Will this turn the tides?" The pigtailed girl on TV commented as she positioned herself to a much more comfortable position.
Ken recovered and dashed towards his opponent and performed a series of slashes and pierces and ended it with Kala-Nemi throwing the girl to the other side of the stage.
Chie recovered in mid-air and summoned her Persona to assist her in putting her back to where she was before being thrown.
Ken summoned Kala-Nemi and a second later a thousand electrically charged arrows materialized above the stage. Ken pointed his index finger at his opponent and arrows started raining down on her.
"Another awakening!" Risette announced as she spun the rotating chair she was sitting on.
Ken summoned Kala-Nemi again and flung a zio at the girl in green jacket, thus ending the match.
"oh well, announcement over. Time to leave" The TV then turned itself off.
"ugh… I lost, who're you?" Chie asked as she got up on a crouching position.
Ken also put away his weapon.
"Looks like you snapped out of it. I didn't know there was a tournament for Persona-users anywhere" Ken answered.
"Wait there is no tournament for Persona-users!" Chie answered back
"hmm, so what is this about?" Ken asked in confusion after all that announcer earlier clearly stated that it is a fighting tournament.
"I don't know, we came here to investigate things and before I know it, I'm fighting you"
"Wait, who're you? You look a lot younger" Chie asked another question.
"I'm Ken Amada, thirteen years of age. Pleased to make your acquaintance?"
"oh? I'm Chie, Chie Satonaka"
The TV flickered on
"That's enough! Hurry up and move on to the next fight! By the way, only the victor can leave the ring, so keep that in mind!" the same bear from earlier cut off their conversation.
Then it turned off.
"Only the winner can leave huh?"
"Amada-kun? If you don't mind? Can you please save my friends? That bear earlier and that girl announcer are our friends too, but they aren't acting like themselves"
"I'll try my best Satonaka-san" Ken said as he run off to the next ring.
"What a shocking finish!" the announcer said through the speaker.
"A tournament for Persona-users huh? Is that why it's P-1? At any rate, I need to get to the bottom of this" Ken said as he continued running.

For more P4U2 news. Apparently that blurred PSC footage, who most of the fandom thought would be Ken, is just a crouching Rise. It does not help that her Persona's battle mode totally made me think it's Kala-Nemi…
