Back again! This chapter is mostly filler, but the mysterious people you met in the last chapter make a return.

Also, for the sake of the story, it takes place a year after Haruhi joined. The school still thinks she's a boy (explained later on). So they are all a year older. Mori and Hunny are still with them, even though they have graduated, because I am making a magical Ouran University which is magically next to Ouran Academy where they magically go...because I can!

Now, on with the story!

I can't take this anymore.

I grit my teeth, throwing my hands to my ears and pushing my ear buds as far in as they could go. Even with my iPod's volume at full blast I could still hear the squealing fangirls. It was as if nothing could drown them out. I looked at the clock on the wall to see what time it was. It's only 4:41?! It's only been 6 minutes since I last looked at the clock?! I sunk further down into the chair I was in, if that was even possible. Any further and I would be on the floor.

It was just too much to bear. My mind couldn't decide what was worse: sitting through the rest of the hosting hours or giving up the ride with Shun and letting my aching legs drag me home. I stood up to stretch and my knees buckled – my choice had been made. I slumped back down into my chair and closed my eyes. Maybe I could make it through the next…were there really still 49 minutes left?...49 minutes with the help of a nap. Fortunately it didn't take long for sleep to take over.

Correre! Per favore, mia principessa, correre!

Fire, smoke, everywhere. I cannot see my hand in front of my face. My father is calling to me from somewhere, but I cannot find him. Someone is tugging on my hand now. It's my mother. I begin to cough – the smoke is seeping into my lungs. Coughing, spluttering, running through the burning remains of our house. My father is still inside, but it is too late to go back and save him. He's already dead.

Are you all right?

Do you need some water?

My mother's hand is on my shoulder, shaking me. I look over my shoulder, but she isn't there. In fact, there's nothing around me anymore, just a black void…

My eyes shot open. There really was someone touching my shoulder. Instinctively I flew around and knocked the person over, but in the process I also fell out of my chair. There was a crash as the other person hit the ground, dropping the glass of water in his or her hand…I had yet to look to see who it was. Eventually, after taking a moment to catch my breath, I looked up into the concerned eyes of one of the hosts.

"I'm so sorry!" I scrambled to help him up. I grabbed his hand and helped drag him to his feet. His hand was unbelievably small and soft and he smelled really nice, which I found slightly strange, but I didn't dwell on it. At the moment I just needed to make sure he was all right – his hand had been cut from the broken glass. The front of his shirt was also wet from where the water had splashed back.

"It's alright," he smiled at me. "I just wanted to make sure you were all right. I saw you had fallen asleep, and you were coughing really hard, so I was just trying to bring you some water. I didn't mean to startle you so badly!"

"No, it's all my fault. Who falls asleep in the middle of a club, then attacks someone out of the blue?" Ashamed, I put my head in my hands.

The boy laughed (rather femininely if I did say so myself), and stuck out his good hand for me to shake. "Well, let's just agree we're both at fault then and start over. My name is Haruhi. Fujioka, Haruhi!"
I took his hand in mine again and gave it a firm shake. "I'm Velia. Vita, Velia." It was slightly strange saying my last name first. I saw her eyes widen slightly when I said my name. King Kyouya must have already spread some horrible lies about me. Then she started laughing.

"What? What's so funny?" I asked, confused.

"I heard all about how you stopped Kyouya this morning!" She paused and laughed some more. "I'm really excited to meet someone who isn't afraid to stand up to him. He can be a real jerk sometimes!"

"That's an understatement. Did he tell you he threatened to call the police on me? Is it true that he has his own police force?" I enquired.

"That he does. His family also owns all the hospitals around here. It would have been ironic if he had run you over. You would have gone to one of his hospitals probably. Actually, now that I think about it…it wouldn't be so much ironic as just awkward," Haruhi sighed, placing her hand on her forehead. When she moved it away, there was a streak of blood left behind.

"Oh! You're hand, I almost forgot about it! It's bleeding from the glass!" I grabbed his hand and started to drag him away from the mess around the chair. "Is there somewhere here I can help you get cleaned up?"

"Don't worry about it. It's just a small cut, I can clean it up myself!" Haruhi tried to stop me, but I wouldn't have it.

"Please, I was the one who made you drop the glass. The least I can do is help you get cleaned up!"

Haruhi sighed and pointed to a door near the back of the room. "There's a supply room back there with spare clothes and a first aid kit."

"Perfect!"

I rifled through the medical supplies, pulling out bandages, tape, antiseptic spray, and tweezers – there was still a small piece of glass in his hand.

"So what made you move to Japan?" Haruhi asked from his seat at the nearby table. I almost dropped the supplies I was carrying.

"Oh nothing important! My mother is from Japan originally, and after my father died we decided a change of scenery would be good for us!" I quickly made up.

"Oh I'm so sorry about your father!" Haruhi stammered. "I understand what you mean. When my mother died, all I wanted for a while was to leave everything behind and forget."

"Then we have that in common." I reached the table and took a seat in the next chair over. I grabbed his hand, surprised again at how small and delicate it was (I was beginning to have a feeling he was hiding something), and placed it on the table, setting to work on getting the piece of glass out. He winced a few times, but a few seconds later the small shard was gone. I washed it out with the antiseptic wash and bandaged it up. "As good as new," I smiled at him. "Now, to find a new shirt for you."

"Don't worry, it's just water! It'll dry soon enough!" he shook his hands trying once again to stop me. I put my hands on my hips and looked down at him.

"I bet it's cold though, and uncomfortable. Wouldn't you rather a nice, clean, warm shirt to put on?" I watched him shiver once and smiled triumphantly. "I'll take that as a yes. And fortunately for you I have just found one!" I held up a replacement uniform top in what I guessed was his size. At least it looked like it would fit him – he was rather small, shorter than me definitely. "Now come on, don't dawdle, put it on!"

He took the shirt from my grasp, and then began to blush profusely. "You wouldn't mind turning away would you?"

I smirked. "I'll turn away, but it's not like I haven't seen a shirtless guy before. That is, unless you're hiding something you don't want me to see? Like an embarrassing tattoo, or…the fact that you're a girl?"

He – she paled. "How did you know?"

I laughed. "I wasn't quite sure until you just confirmed it now. But 1) you're hands are way to small and delicate to belong to a guy, 2) you smell really good, and 3) your laugh is just a little too effeminate."

Haruhi sighed again. "Well, I guess there isn't anything to hide anymore…" She began to change.

"So what's with the charade?" I asked, genuinely curious. She began to tell me a long story that involved breaking a vase, large debts, and a slightly unnerving amount of cosplay. When she finished I burst out into laughter. "So you've been pretending to be a guy for an entire year?"

"Yeah. It almost came out that I was a girl at that ball last year, when the host club was almost disbanded. I would have been fine giving up the farce finally, but the hosts decided I was bringing in too many girls and at the last minute released to the school that I was actually "my twin sister" taking my place for the night." She sweat-dropped. "Sometimes I don't understand how the people at this school are so thick."

"Wow, that's…just…too weird!" I got out between bursts of laughter.

"Laugh all you like, I do have some fun times here," she smiled slightly.

"Just when I thought one of you was normal, I find out you're a cross-dresser! Not that there is anything wrong with that! But seriously, what is with this club?!" I laughed even harder. Suddenly my phone went off in my pocket. I pulled it out and saw I had a text. It was from Shun.

Hey, where are you? Club hours are over and I have to go! We saw you disappear into the back with Haruhi a while ago. Don't tell me you're making out with him back there!

I blanched at the prospect, given what I had just figured out. I pocketed my phone and turned back to Haruhi. "Well, that's my ride. Time to leave. But it was very nice meeting you. Sorry again about the hand!"

"Don't worry about it…but I have to ask you to please not tell anyone about me you know…being a girl and all," she pleaded.

I mimed locking my mouth up and throwing away the key. "Your secret is safe with me." She looked relieved. "See ya Haruhi." I waved goodbye and walked out of the back room.

"There you are silly!" Shun immediately accosted me. "I was wondering what was taking you so long back there." She wiggled her eyebrows at me and squealed.

I pushed her away and went back to my vacated chair to grab my bags. Shun followed closely behind me. "It was nothing like that, get your mind out of the gutter. Sh-Haruhi broke a glass and cut his hand, and I was helping him get the glass out and clean it up. Nothing more than that."

Shun huffed and crossed her arms, obviously disappointed. "Fine, nothing naughty happened…but did you want it to?" She winked at me.

I blanched again. "No! Absolutely not! This whole club is just too strange. Haruhi I could probably handle being around, he seems down to Earth, but the other hosts…just no. And their groupies don't get me started on them! Once was enough. Please…never make me come back again!"

Shun sighed, looking down. "Fine, I'll never make you come back." I pulled her into a hug because she looked like she was about to cry.

"Just because I don't come back doesn't mean you can't! It's just not for me, ok?" That seemed to cheer her up.

"Ok! Well come on then! The limo's a-waiting!" She pulled me towards the door.

"Does everyone here own a limo!?"

Haruhi walked out of the back room with a broom and dustpan to where the rest of the broken glass was. The water had all but dried up, so she swept around the small puddle.

"Hey Haruhi!" Hikaru come up and slung one arm around her shoulder.

"What happened over here?" Kaoru finished, claiming her other side.

"Nothing, it's all fine. I just dropped a glass."

"That'll be another 50,000!" Kyouya yelled from across the room.

"Will the debt never go away?" Haruhi grumbled.

"Not if you keep being so clumsy…" Kyouya replied, pulling his computer from his bag and opening it.

Tamaki came up behind Kyouya's chair and leaned over the back, sneaking a peek at his screen. "Please tell me you aren't going to obsess over Velia?"

"I have to figure out what she's hiding!" Kyouya continued to type away at the keys.

The hosts all looked at each other, slightly worried for Kyouya's sanity. However, none of them were about to get in his way – that could end badly for anyone who tried. They all went back to cleaning up the afternoon's messes while Kyouya clacked away.

I don't care how long it takes, I'll find out what you're hiding.

(Back at the warehouse in Italy)

"Whoever it was is back on! I'll trace the IP address, find out exactly where the person is located."

"Perfect. To think, we might be able to finally put an end to them after all our searching!" The man stamped his cigar out in the ashtray next to him. "You thought you could get away with lying to and cheating us, but you couldn't Nico. You paid, and now you're family is finally going to pay for what you did to us."

"Sir, the IP address traces to Tokyo, Japan. Specifically, Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan."

"Excellent, well done." The man stood up and cracked his knuckles. "You thought you could hide from us. You were sadly mistaken. Now, we're coming for you."

Now the mysterious men know where Kyouya is! That means they know where Velia and her mom are too! DUN DUN DUN!

What will happen next? Review and let me know what you think, as always!
