So this is it. The end of the sequel. I just want to thank everyone who stuck with me this far. I'd also like to apologize that this story wasn't all it could be. I never planned for the original story to have a sequel so it was very difficult to write this. And it took much longer than I would have liked with everything that's been going on since I started this story so long ago. I plan to continue writing and hopefully I'll have more stories up soon. Thank you all for reading!
Epilogue
Three Years Later
"Scorpius, why don't you go tell everyone we're here?" Draco asked his son.
"Yes, Father." The young blonde boy replied, running to the burrow.
Draco turned and offered his arm to Ginny, grinning. "Shall we, love?"
Ginny smiled back, taking his arm. Her free hand rubbed her swollen stomach. "I'll be happy when this little girl is out of there."
"Everyone else will be too. Another baby to pass around the Weasley family at dinner. Your mother will pleased."
They opened the door to a course of noise. "Ginny dear, come in, come in. You must be tired. Sit down." Mrs. Weasley said, ushering them into the living room.
Hermione was the first to greet them. "Hey guys. How's the baby?"
"Fine, she's getting bigger every day according to the Healers. Should be born right on time."
Hermione caught Draco scanning the room. "Draco, Scorpius is outside with Hugo and the other kids. Ron and the guys should be out there too."
Draco nodded but didn't move from his wife's side.
"Go on, Drake." Ginny said, "I'll be fine here with Hermione."
"Alright hun." he said, kissing her cheek. Draco turned and left to find the guys in the back yard.
"Come on Gin," Hemione said, taking her arm. "Luna's here too."
Hermione led her to the couch where Luna was sitting.
"Hey Luna. It feels like it's been ages."
"Hello Ginny." Luna replied with a smile. "I'd get up to hug you but it's such a chore to move." Her hand rested on her rounded stomach and she laughed.
"Oh I know the feeling, Luna." She said with a grin as she plunked down on the couch beside her. "How are you and Harry doing?"
"Everything's been so lovely." Luna sighed. "Harry's so excited about having a child."
"I'm sure you'll both be wonderful parents." Hermione remarked.
"Hey Draco!" Ron called, seeing the blond exit the house.
"Hey boys, how's it been?" He called back, waving as he crossed the yard. It was hard to believe that Ginevra's family had accepted him to openly over the years. If only his parents had been so open.
"You've already missed the best thing that was going to happen today." George said, clapping him on the back. "Charlie came over to visit from Romania. Brought a baby dragon with him and the bloody thing set his robes on fire!"
"Yes, the lot of them had quite the fit, laughing at my expense." Charlie chided his brothers.
Draco couldn't help but laugh, despite his best efforts to hide it. "Would have loved to see it." he grinned, looking around. "Where are the children?"
"Oh, Hugo's got them running around pretending to play Quidditch. Scorpius' arrival game em enough for a three on three match." Ron told him, jerking his head to where the children were running around.
"Speaking of Quidditch, how's Gin doing not being able to play?" Harry, who had been quiet since his arrival, asked.
Draco rolled his eyes. "She can't wait till the baby's out so she can get right back to it. I swear, sometimes I think it was a terrible thing, getting her that audition."
"Yeah, but she loves it, huh?" George prodded him in the side.
"That she does, George. And it wasn't so bad with Scorpius. He loved coming to work with me whenever I had to go in. I just hope the girl feels the same."
"Have you guys picked out a name yet?" Percy asked.
"Gin's been trying to talk me into naming her Jennifer but that's such a common name. I don't like it."
"Well you'd better think of one soon or else she's going to name her whatever she wants."
"Yeah, I know." Draco sighed, "Speaking of babies though, how's it feel to know you're going to be a dad, Potter?"
"Can't wait." Harry replied. "And I'll be glad for it once he's here. Luna can be such a handful sometimes."
"Women, Potter. It comes with the job."
Harry nodded thoughtfully. "So any idea when you'll teach Scorpius to fly?"
Thank you all for reading! It's been an honor!
