The night past quickly and Sora and his companions slept at the palace. No one knew that in the morning the excitement would be that of a much safer kind.
As they awoke the next morning there was a loud knock on the door, then a girl they hadn't seen the night before entered. She had black hair like mine but not as bright because it didn't shimmer like mine had. She also had black eyes but still was quite beautiful in the morning light though she had a dark aura. She wore all black, an ankle long dress, cloak complete with hood but though she had dark appearance they felt no danger from her. Strangely she wore no shoes but Sora recalled that I hadn't been wearing shoes yesterday either. Our feet had grown to have hard soles so none of us wore shoes.
"So, you're the strange new comers that we were told about." She said without making any introductions about herself. Who was this girl?
"Yes I'm Sora and this is Riku…."
"I know who you all are. Hootaru told us all, this morning at breakfast, about you all. I decided to come and see you for myself before I went to do some mediation." She said.
"And who are you?" Leon asked.
"Dazara." She said one word.
"Dazara, why that is a lovely name to have, "Kairi said kindly hoping that the girl would be happier them she looked at the moment.
"What?" The girl turned on Kairi her eyes flashing with a fire red tint.
"Did I say something wrong?" Kairi said suddenly frightened at this girl's reaction to her words though she meant it as a complement.
"You don't know what Dazara means, well than let me tell you. It means…,"
"My Beautiful Angel of Darkness, of course that's what Dazara means." A young man dressed in western attire rushed into the room and scooped her off her feet.
"Oh, Sam, put me down." A smile came to her lips.
"Come on, Beautiful." They kissed then Sam hurried out of the room carrying her bridal style in his arms.
After their dramatic exit, another girl entered the room. This girl had blond hair and sky blue eyes. Her aura was an exactly the opposite of Dazara's. She wore a silver dress. "Sorry about Dazara. She gets easily offended when anything, anyone says anything about her is beautiful. I think only Sam can get away with it and her sisters, me included. She lives in some kind of alternate universe were beauty is an insult. It doesn't matter though out of the four of us she has the least amount of beauty. In fact she doesn't know it but most people said she is the least beautiful girl in this world but still respect her because they know she can kill in an instant. She has a horrible temper." She was being sarcastic.
"I heard that Cheria!" Dazara shouted. "You have five seconds to take that back or I'll kill you!"
"Bye," She rushed out of the room "I have no intention of taking it back at all Dazara!" She ran down the hall still being sarcastic. Dazara was hot on her heels yelling.
Sam trailed behind them laughing. "Don't you two start using your powers again, or I'll have to go find Tara to intervene."
After a while they heard quiet footsteps outside in the hallway and then they heard a small voice say. "Are you sad, Mom?" It was me and my cubs.
"A little bit, Harmony."
"Do you need to see Uncle Karjiko to cheer you up?" Another asked.
"That crazed phoenix is the last person I want to see right now. Oh, speak of the devil, there he is now." I saw the fire red hair of the phoenix down the hall coming directly toward me.
"Seriana, how may I be of service of you this fine morning?" He said.
"Good morning, Karjiko." I said smiling but it was totally faking and he knew it.
"Ah ha, you're not cheerful at all. I can tell by your voice." He said grinning his mischievous grin.
"Karjiko, I don't need you're wise cracks right now okay." I held up my hands in a defensive manner but it didn't help.
"But Seriana, you know that if you stick with me for a couple of hours you'll be laughing in absolutely no time." He threw his arms around me. Oh great here I was standing in the arms of the King of Flirts. Where was Anna his Vampire girlfriend when I needed her? She would be furious he was holding me in his arms.
"Karjiko, let go of me." I said. "If Anna finds out you're holding me like this she'll be furious with you again, she hates when you do this."
"Say you love me." He said giggling uncontrollably. "Or should I start singing. You love me! You love me!"
"Karjiko, I mean it." I was not happy. "Please just let go of me right now. You're just being insanely annoying and not helping."
"Say you love me." He was still giggling insanely again. "Say it and we can start dancing." He picked me up twirled in a circle making me dizzy.
Then I saw my escape route. Clad in all black with black hair that hung past his shoulders. Shadow was standing in the hall looking the opposite direction.
"Shadow, please help me before I go insane." I said and Shadow turned to see me trying to pry Karjiko's arms off from around my waist before he picked me up again
"Hey Bird Brain, you heard her, let Seriana go." He called. "She doesn't want you holding her right now so let go of her."
Karjiko whirled to see Shadow. "Puppy," He threw his arms wide and ran toward him. "You need a hug!"
"Pigeon, if you throw your arms around me again I swear…." Karjiko did throw his arms around Shadow anyway. I hurried away in the other direction with my kids.
Sora and Riku poked their out the door in time to see Shadow picked Karjiko up and threw him against the nearest wall. Karjiko's body was engulfed in flames that horrified them but then he reappeared exactly as he had before he had burst in to flames and began to sing a ridiculous song about puppies, birds, and whatever else came to his mind. Kairi joined them at the door to enjoy his performance. Karjiko threw his arm around Shadow again. Shadow tried to step away but Karjiko followed his movements. Hootaru at that moment entered the hall in time to see Karjiko try and jump in to Shadow's arms. Then he spotted her.
"Hootaru, the angel, has finally arrived at my part of heaven," He ran toward her arms as wide as his goofy grin.
Hootaru moved to the side as the last second and Karjiko flew past her and from the sound ran into a wall with something in front it that fell over and broke.
"For the millionth time Karjiko, I've told you, I'm a happily married woman." She said and turned to Shadow.
Then another girl entered the hall. "You know, I think that was one of Dad's favorite vases hat he ran into."
Hootaru sighed and moved down the hall "I'll see if I can fix it." Suddenly she was back. Karjiko was chasing her around in circles. "For the last time Karjiko, I hate having to keep reminding you every day, I'm not a single woman anymore. I'm happily married with eight biological children and several more adopted so stop casing me."
Shadow growled. "Pigeon, stop chasing my wife unless you want to die twice in one hour I'll gladly kill you again."
"I've died already twice today. My record though is fifty eight times. My hour record is five and that was when I was capture and Zerona kept trying to kill me then she finally decided to just let me go because I was driving her insane." Karjiko said bowing dramatically like he was being awarded a talent show trophy. "Thank you very much indeed."
"Well then, someone get me a burlap bag and the directions to the nearest water source that I can drown you in." Shadow said "Remember that one Bird Brain? I'm sure you do because it was the most blissful six months of my life."
"Oh please don't do that to me." Karjiko said groaning. "When Zerona did that to me I was miserable forever. It took me a year to grow up again and I hated it the whole time because couldn't do anything."
"Until after six months and you figured out you had a voice again then you started singing again and three months after that you could fly." Hootaru called. She had headed down the hall and was probably go to fix the broken vase.
"Anyway, where did gorgeous Seriana disappear off too?" Karjiko said. "Oh well, majestic Tara is here now instead." She grabbed Tara around the waist spinning her around much to her disapproval. She was ready to hurt him
"Karjiko put me down. I came to meet the guests, and after that I'll find Zacks and go down my daily mediation as we all should do to keep our powers in check and not overcome us." She pushed Karjiko away a little harder than necessary. He fell over flat on his back since Tara was very strong. Out of the four of us she was by far the strongest.
She turned to see all of the Key Bladers watching the action in the hall now.
"There is no need to be timid right now, you can come on out. None of us including Karjiko mean you any harm." The girl said. "I'm Tara, also called Balance of the Trinity." She said as they all left the room and entered the hall to meet her.
"Hooray, look Puppy there are more girls here to be my best friends today!" Karjiko jumped to his feet.
"Karjiko, please tell me I did not hear that correctly? Then again, I should know you say things like that all the time though you know it bothers me beyond reason." Another girl entered the hall. Her skin was deathly pale and she looked a little unhappy her arms folded over her chest. "So tell me you didn't mean that."
"It's Anna, my lovely Vampire girlfriend, and the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world beyond anyone else in the entire universe and beyond!" Karjiko ran to her and threw his arms around her but she didn't mind as much.
"Karjiko, did you hear me? I heard you saying that you had new girls to become your best friends today?" She asked. "I can't believe you are still the King of Flirts after all this time we have been together. The only girls you can be around are the girls to make them laugh and the other guardians because you are a guardian as well."
"I didn't mean it that seriously." He said smiling at Anna innocently. "I just was making a statement that meant I missed you."
"That's a lie and a half. You know how I feel about you flirting with other girl in the vicinity, unless they are the Trinity and you are trying to make them laugh to cheer them up o another guardian to discuss something." Anna said and moved away from the hall with Karjiko following her like a lost puppy which made Shadow very proud. Anna was the only one who could get him to act that way. Hootaru and Anna could control him the best.
