Previously in Half Blood High~~

"He's adorable." Piper shook her head as she chuckled, watching Leo rub his head.

Jason felt himself bristle a little… was this jealousy?

"…. So I'll catch you later Jason." Piper said.

"Yeah… hey, wanna grab a coffee with me during lunch hours?" Jason asked distractedly.

Piper looked really surprised. "Um. Sure. Yeah… I'd like that."

"This place is amazing, 'Beth." Percy breathed out.

"Annabeth smiled and scooted closer to Percy. "Yeah… it's beautiful."

"You're beautiful." Percy smiled at her.

'oh my gods we're one of those cheesy couples." Annabeth thought to herself. But she liked it.

"So we haven't really talked in a while… like… really talk, you know?" Ananbeth said, flipping a blonde curl across her shoulder.

"Yeah… how's your family? Last we talked about them, your mom apparently already hates my guts." Percy chuckled.

"I don't even know why she doesn't like you. It's so stupid!" Annabeth groaned into Percy's chest.

"Well, parents like to be protective of their daughters. I know I would if I had a daughter." Percy smiled, looking into Annabeth's eyes.

She smiled a small tight smile.

"But still. She's never even met you!" Then her eyes lit up. "That's it! We'll go meet her on Sunday! For brunch… in the city. Is that okay with you?"

Percy laughed at his girlfriend's enthusiasm.

"I love that you really want this. You're so cute when you're passionate." He chuckled and ruffled her hair.

"Shut up!"

Percy chuckled. "Anyway… so tell me. Anything new that I don't know happen?"

"Um. Well! Piper is going to join the track team because her time is amazing! And Thalia— get this. She got in trouble the other day in class so the teacher's and her dad had a meeting and she has to join the cheer squad to work on her teamwork and people skills." Annabeth laughed. "Thalia the cheerleader. I'm dying."

Percy burst out laughing. "Does Nico know?"

"She's too embarrassed but she'll tell him soon." Annabeth giggled. "Hey what about you?"

"Well… Leo is settling in well and he's hilarious. He's real good at fixing stuff and building and stuff like that. You know that chair that I have that is so unstable? Yeah. He fixed it and it's real comfortable to sit in to eat cereal in now." Percy smiled at Annabeth.

"So many people are coming to HBH now…" Annabeth said. "It's great though. New faces are always cool."

"Aw! Are you sick of me already?'

"Never." Annabeth smiled, batting her lashes at him. "Hey don't you have like a swim meet coming up?"

Percy tried out the other day and the gang went to cheer him on. He beat the school record for free-style, butterfly AND breaststroke. He was amazing in water… and in land. According to Annabeth.

"Yup. You're coming right?"

"Wouldn't miss it, darling!" Annabeth drawled.

" We should head back…" Percy started, holding out his hand for Annabeth. She rolled her eyes and walked ahead, leading the way. Percy smiled watching her.

"Gods you're hot when you're being all leader-ish." Percy smirked.

"Shut up Pervy Jackson."

"GUYS! Thalia's going to cheer practice! LET'S GOOOO!" Nico exclaimed after school, jumping around. This is going to one hades of a show!"

"Nico!" Thalia said in horror. Her face red with embarrassment as she stood next to him in her new cheer uniform. "This is humiliating. Look at this!"

"Wait, isn't Silena on the squad? You'll be fine!" Piper said reassuringly but trying hard not to burst out laughing.

"Yeah… but there's Drew. That'll suck." Jason quipped, his hand on Piper's back. Leo raised an eyebrow at the two and Piper blushed.

"UGH!" Thalia threw her pom-pom hands in the air. Percy laughed hard.

"This is great. Thals." Percy couldn't stop laughing. "But hey. Didn't you do gymnastics?"

"I'm going to kill someone." Thalia screeched, storming off. The rest followed her, chuckling.

"5-6-7-8! Ready girls?" Silena piped. "Let's go!"

They did a series of tumbles and stunts… it was really rather impressive.

"Silena. I'm tired! Let's take a break." Drew whined.

"Drew honey. The basketball game is tomorrow. We need to get this down. Look. Thalia just joined and she knows everything perfectly now… except the left turn. But come on. Girl up Drew." Silena shot.

"Wow. I've never seen Silena like that before." Jason said.

"Yeah." Piper said. "She's amazing."

Jason looked at Piper with a teasing smile.

"Okay you two. What's going on?" Leo said from behind them.

"Nothing!" Jason and Piper both said.

Thalia was down on the field, being the glorified flyer as Drew held her up with a disgusting pout. Thalia actually looked focused.

"This is nice." Percy smiled.

"I'm lovin' it!" Annabeth sang.

Grover was filming Thalia, laughing and eating a taco.

Just then, a horn sounded from across the field. A cloud of purple and gold streamed onto the field.

Roman High.

"Um! Excuse me! Sorry girls! We're practicing right now!" Silena called out to them.

One Roman High girl stepped forward.

"We're here for the cheer off. Last week, one of your girls came onto our campus and destroyed Lucretia and my dorm." The girl shouted. "If you're trying to show power, let's do it here. It's the honorable thing to do."

"Sorry. We aren't looking for trouble here." Silena said worriedly.

"Are you afraid?" The Roman girl challenged.

"Hell no. Silena, let's do this." A pink haired girl from the squad said. The rest of the girls cheered on.

Thalia looked like she was ready to skin a baby goat. "Are you shizzing me right now?" She mumbled to herself.

Up on the bleachers, Jason squinted then stood. "Reyna?"

"Jason?!" The Roman girl said, looking at him. "Jason!"

Piper went positively red. Leo slid down next to her and watched. Jason ran down to Reyna. Reyna grabbed him and was going to kiss him. But he stopped her.

"ooooh!" Drew projected her voice for all to hear.

"Reyna. We broke up. And we aren't getting back together. We broke up for a reason." Jason said sternly. He turned around to look at Piper. Her tank lifting in the soft breeze and her hazel colored braid, messy and framing her beautiful face. "I think you should go Reyna. Half Blood High did not trash your place. It was probably the Wolverines or the Badgers down town."

Reyna narrowed her eyes are Piper then spun around, walking off.

"This isn't finished Half Blood Cheerleaders. You're going down next time." A porcelain skinned Roman girl called. "Let's go Reyna."

After practice, the group went to their favorite diner… where they served root beer floats and great pizza.

"Just being on the squad has a lot of drama." Thalia groaned. "But the stunt part is kinda fun. Especially with Drew carrying me. PEASANT!"

Everyone laughed. Jason was quiet though.

"Hey btw Jason. You dated that crazy head cheerleader back at Roman High?" Nico asked, sipping on a coke.

"Yeah…" Jason started. "Okay. I know what ya'll are thinking. We broke up because she got really controlling and clingy and I just… didn't really like her… I never really did. I'm kinda done with girls for now."

Leo looked at Piper who bit her lip.

"Whatever you say man." Grover said. "She scared the tin cans out of me."

"Hey but Thally, you were great. Amazing out there." Silena said from Beckondorf's lap. He joined them after basketball practice.

"Yeah. Babe, you were great." Nico leaned in to kiss her check.

Thalia rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue.

"Hey let's talk about something really important here!" Silena said when the food arrived, picking out a thin slice of pizza and blotting the oil off with a napkin. Beckondorf sighed at the sight. "PROM.

"I'm going to Charlie for sure. Thalico… Percabeth… Traetie…" Everybody raised their eyebrows.

"Seriously babe? You made merge names?" Beckondorf said shamefully.

"Yes, the other half of Charlena!" Silena bounced. Beckondorf smiled. " Anyway! I can rent a limo for us and we can go as a group and stuff! And it's like next week guys…so we should move fast. I've already got my dress and stuff… wait Juniper who are you going with? And omg Pipes! And Leo! And Jason! And—"

"Juniper will you go to prom with me?" Grover blurted. Then he ran behind the counter of the diner and pulled out a flower crown of lilacs and strands of juniper and daisies.

"Grover! Did you make that?" Juniper said, her ears going pink.

"Yeah… sorry it looks kind of… crushed." Grover said, scratching his head as a petal fluttered to the ground.

"Yes! Grover! Yes." Juniper giggled and Grover smiled with relief and happiness.

"This is so cute you guys." Piper sighed.

The day of prom, they had finalized to get ready at Silena and Piper's dorm together.

But Piper didn't have a date yet… Jason was "done with girls"…

Just as she decided to go solo—

"Hey Piper, right?" The cute English kid from Piper's writing class said.

"Yeah… Hey… Drake." Piper brushed her hair out of her eyes.

"Yeah! So I was wondering if you wanted to go to Prom? With me. Hahaha…" Drake said nervously in his charming accent.

Piper stared at him.

"Listen… I understand if you don't want to."

"Oh! Um, no! I mean! Yes! I mean, yes, I'll go to prom with you Drake." Piper smiled shyly. "I um thought you were going with Sally…"

"We broke up last month… I just wanna go with a pretty girl to my last prom. Senior year… you know." Piper blushed. "So I'll um… pick you up at your dorm at 7:30?"

"Great!"

"Great! Um… thanks." He leaned down and kissed her cheek. Then walked away, looking back at her, smiling.

Jason stood across the hall, feeling sick. Crap.

"Babe, I'm telling you, go with the cobalt tie. Yes, babe. Yeah yeah. I can't wait to see you too. Love you. Okay! I need to put on my face now. Shut up! Okay, okay! Goodbye Nico." Thalia shouted into her phone over the loud music booming from Silena's speaker.

La Da Dee by Cody Simpson sure was catchy. Thalia hated it.

"Thalia, can you help do Juniper? I'm working on Piper." Silena shouted from across the room at the vanity mirror with Piper sitting in front of her, looking very… Silena-fied. Her hair was in beachy waves with blonde highlights that Silen had styled in. It would've looked like skunk hair… but it really worked on Piper. Piper's eyes were padded with shimmering gold… probably from Silena's new Naked pallet. And her eyelashes drawn out and long from the mascara looked almost fake. Her skin, flawless already was stained by faint apricot colored blush. Her lips a nude-pink and her ears had gold chains dangling down.

"I love your dress Pipes." Juniper called out from across the room as Thalia applied foundation across Juniper's fairy-like face.

"Thanks Juniper. You're is gorgeous too." Piper complimented back, smiling softly. Their dress were similar… both white and long. Juniper's was one shouldered and the longer part of the skirt was a sheer white. A dark green thin belt went along with it. Piper's was a corset styled one. The back was longer but the front still touched the floor. Faint silver patterns adorned the top half, fading into the dress. Thalia was lending Piper her gold cuffs and jewelry.

Thalia was going with a navy lace dress. It was short and hugged her figure. The bottom flared out like a tutu and she paired ballerina like lace up black stilettoes. A black chocker was enough jewelry for the dress and her hair was in a high sock bun. Her eyes dark but with silver on the lower lash line and the inner corners of her eye.

For Juniper, she made a pale pink and toffee brown subtle Smokey eye. Juniper's red-brown hair was curled and flowing down her back. Her lips pale and her cheeks faint, drawing more attention to her hair and dress.

Katie was in a black Chinese Chi-Pao styled dress. It was floor length and she wore 5 inch black heels underneath, making her look model-esque. Her brown, sun streaked hair in a side twist and her eyes simply winged out. Her lips were red and complimented her sun kissed skin.

Silena wasn't in her dress yet, but she showed it to the girls. It was a cream color with silver jewels on the bust, trickling down the dress. Silena's eyes were a smoky brown and her cheeks contoured, giving her lips an extra pop. Her hair was straightened and up in a tight, high cat-walk ready pony tail. Silena had designed and made the dress herself. She was quite proud of it. And it was absolutely breathtaking.

Annabeth was finished a couple minutes ago, so she was snapping photos of the process. Her dress a green-gray high-low. The highlow was layered and looked soft… as if she could float up into the heavens any second. She wore nude pumps and the corset top was tight… but not in a slutty Drew way. Her hair was natural, just the way Percy liked it. Her eyes like Silena's were a smoky brown and her lashes curled and darkened. She used her Benefit pink lip stain to add a rosy touch.

"The boys are going to die when they see us." Silena giggled. "Okay Pipes! Finé! I need to go change now! Yay!"

When Silena finally finished getting ready and all the girl's had their prom looks complete, the boys knocked in.

"YOU'RE JUST IN TIME MY LOVLIES!" Silena squealed, running to the door.
