Firago: Is no one really here today?
?: What about me?
Firago: Courcier, you know ya can't scare me.
Courcier: I guess so, you really never change, do you Firago?
Firago: Nope, not at all, I am me and only me.
Courcier: I can see that, anyway, don't you think you should get round to explaining some stuff about me?
Firago: Don't you worry, I have it all planned out, same for the other 5 as well.
Courcier: Ok then, I think you should start the story, I shall take my leave.
Firago: Gotcha, happy hunting *Chuckles evilly*
Chapter 12: One Small Thing.
(Amber's POV)
This whole walking thing is getting easier everyday, which is a good thing considering that we are almost at our last stop before we have the long walk ahead to the Luna Tower. Things have been going well, I was able to have a chat with Leon and get some stuff sorted out, it was getting pretty obvious Jet and Summer liked each other, it don't take a genius to figure that one out.
"You think he will go through with it?" I ask Leon who was walking besides me.
"I'm pretty sure, especially after what happened yesterday." He responds. I agree with him on this one, those two would be great for each other, but both of them had to be shy, this makes things harder, or it would have done if Jet didn't tell me and Leon about his plan, he seriously thought about it and it should work even though we told him he should just ask, but no, apparently his issue will get in the way or whatever, needs more confidence in himself, that's for sure.
We have been walking through this forest for less then a couple hours and we finally reached the exit, I instantly ran out of the forest and saw Modasa, a town of enjoyment I guess you could call it. Modasa was a MASSIVE town that became a tourist spot because of the continents biggest mountain being but a 30 minute walk away, I am looking down the hill we are standing on at the bright lights of the town, all the shops, casinos, bars and hotels make this place very lively and loud.
"Amber... Amber! AMBER!" Jet yells into my ear, grabbing my attention. I grab him and lift him up.
"Do that again and you're dead meat." I say in rage. I get easily annoyed
"Sorry..." He responds in a tiny voice, I just sigh and drop him, he was strangely heavy, and he wasn't overweight, weird.
"Now that you have sorted that kerfuffle out, let us be on our way." Leon says politely as he starts his descent down the hill, that attitude of his annoys me, he needs to let loose some. We spend whatever time we had left talking about what we would do in town.
"I'm gonna go take Summer to the Robin's Rest." Jet tells us, with Summer standing not to far behind him.
"I will be going with Amber, I need to keep an eye on the money she spends at the casino's." Leon said, looks like I'm stuck with him for the night, shit.
"Do you have to go with me?" I complain, he shakes his head and looks at me.
"You're not even old enough to be going to casino's, people just think you're old enough because of that attitude of yours!" He shouts out in annoyance, stunning us all. He blinks a few times before a tinge of red appears on his cheeks "...I apologise for that outburst." He says with a slight blush. I stare at him in stunned silence before having a little laugh and punching his arm.
"Well, if you insist!" I laugh out slightly, I had never seen Leon get emotional about anything, especially something as little as this, his teenage rebelliousness seems to be kicking in much later then the norm.
Walking down hill is so much easier then up hill, I once climbed our small mountain near home to Jet's dismay, I probably shouldn't have dragged him along for the ride. It didn't take us long to reach the town, how it is still considered a town I do not know, it's plenty big enough to be a city, especially with all the massive hotels, casino's, bars and shops, it was pretty much a city for tourists.
"Well then, this is where we split." Jet says looking at me an Leon, he then gives me a questioning glance before dashing off with Summer being pretty much dragged, poor girl.
"So then, shall we have some fun? I ask Leon, who looked very apprehensive after I said that, I just sighed before walking off, looking for the nearest casino to put out of business. I enter a casino and head to the nearest poker table, anyone who questions my age gets their ass handed to them. I sit on one of the larger stools and join a game, let's see how much money I can make.
*Some Time Later*
Well, the whole putting them out of business thing didn't work, and Leon wouldn't let me spend much anyway so I was heading to the Inn, I was slightly pissed that Leon didn't help me, he could make loads with his near perfect psychic abilities. I come across the Robin's Rest in a small street, upon entering I see a desk at the end of the room, with a red carpet leading to it, on the inside this place looked amazing, with spruce wood logs and planks making the place up, a couple small tree's on both side's of the door and the fancy little desk, I assume Jet got our rooms ready.
"Hello Amber, Jet booked you and Leon a room." The talonflame standing on a perch behind the desk says.
"Hang on, a room... like a single room?!" I shout slightly pissed off.
"Well, they are the 2 largest rooms, and I recommended them as 2 larger rooms are cheaper then 4 smaller ones." He mentions to me, looking around the place in a nervous manner.
I sigh before shaking my head. "Ya know what, I give up, I don't really care that much to be honest. Key's please" I say before grabbing the keys from him and waving off any further questions he was about to ask and going up the stairs, I take a right and head towards my room, I only now realise that I know where the 2 largest rooms are, only I don't know which one was mine.
"Well, shit." I sigh out in a long sentence, I was tired and just wanted to sleep. I enter the one to the left of me and enter, this room had a desk with a computer on, it looked fairly old, there was 2 single beds at the other end of the room, well it's good to know there are more then one.
"Hello?" Summer asks leaving the bathroom to the right of me, she looks at me nervously before calming down. "You scared me then Amber." She said happily, it was nice to see her come out of her shell.
"So I'm guessing this is yours and Jet's room then, sorry 'bout that." I say as she walks over to the bed, it doesn't look like Jet's here, where the hell could he be at this time?
"You know where Jet is?" I ask her, still looking around the room with a curious gaze.
"He went out not too long ago, he said he wanted to visit some shops, I was just cleaning." She tells me yawning slightly, pretty late to be out though, she watches me before I decide to talk.
"You have good days ahead of you, treat Jet well would ya?" I say smiling slyly, though from the confused look on her face I doubt she understood what I meant. I leave the room and enter the next one, I head over to the big double bed and jump in happily, glad for the fireproof blankets... Wait a minute, I look around the room for a second and see no other bed... Jet you utter twat I'm so going to get you back for this.
(Leon's POV)
Wandering this incredibly loud town may not have been a great idea, I needed to find a quiet, secluded area to practice, I still have to focus on my own main task. I wander through some more ally ways before reaching a large open basketball court, it looked abandoned and I couldn't sense anyone nearby, this should work perfectly.
"Aura Sphere!" I shout trying to summon an orb of aura, but once again all I created was a shadow ball, it's the same with all my techniques, my reflect is a lot darker and more fragile then most, because of that I have to pump a lot more power into it, my magical leaf takes a darker shade and my psychic techniques are more akin to ghosts then psychics, they hurt more then control.
"Again!" I shout, creating another failed copy, again for the millionth time since I first made a shadow ball, my father told me it was my aura, an aura no psychic should posses, it was darker then even the night sky, I release some aura in front of me, pitch black like usual, I doubt this will ever change, but I still need to master aura sphere or something else, my Arceus forsaken weakness to dark types had been my ruin many times, I need to get round it and aura sphere should be my greatest option, but instead it has proven to be my worst.
"Again!" I shout once more, not expecting anything new to come from this dark aura, I can hope this training unlocks my third aura.
(Jet's POV)
I found it! I finally found it! A pair of very small speakers that could connect to my headphones, these are just the things I have been looking for since I left the Robin's Rest.
"Yo kid, sweet headphones." Some teenage zangoose says to me in a overly cocky tone, he had a couple friends with him as well, I can't really be bothered so I decide to run, this probably left them in the dust with no idea to what just happened. I come upon the Robin's Rest and enter, tomorrow we all decided upon a training session.
"Hello Jet, I'm locking up for the night now, so you won't be able to stay out any longer" The talonflame mentioned, I nod a response as he glides over to the door, I turn my head and proceed to go up the stairs to my right, I reach the top of the staircase and take a right towards the two big rooms and enter the one on the left. Summer was already asleep in one of the beds, I do a quick leap into the other one and lay down, I that I think about it, tomorrows training session is going to be tough, Leon is quite the slave driver.
*The next day*
"Jet!" Summer's oh so familiar voice screams into my ear as I quickly open my eyes. I look to my right to find Summer shaking me. "You're awake, thank Arceus, Leon told me to wake you up and give you this, it's where we're going to be training." She says handing me a small piece of paper with an incredibly detailed map drawn on it, I take a quick look at where we will be training and see it, it looks like a vast field on the outskirts of town, at least we can't damage anything there.
"Well then, shall we go get Amber, I highly doubt she woulda gotten up before us." I say in a humorous manner, Summer started giggling in cute manner at the mention, she has really gotten comfortable around all of us. I jump out of the bed as Summer acts more sensible and climbs off of it instead.
"Shall we go then?" Summer says, I respond with a slight nod. We both leave our room and knock on Amber's.
"Piss off!" A voice rang from within the room, I knock once again before hearing an angry roar and heavy footsteps stomping towards the door from the other side, the door is quickly yanked open and Amber stares at us looking very agitated. "Oh it's you Jet, care to explain the reason for only one bed?" She says showing me the large double bed inside the room.
"Well, I didn't know about that, sorry Amber." I say with a very nervous laugh, one wrong move and I'm done for. She looks at me with an angry face back putting her hand to her head and sighing.
"Yer hopeless Jet, now then, why the hell did ya wake me up?" She asks me, I show her the map and she stares at it for a few seconds. "Ahh, training, let's get going then!" She says running out the room, me and Summer quickly catch up with her and she slows down slightly.
The three of us head down the stairs and out of the Inn, once outside I take another look at the map, the directions were simple and easy to follow. I move on ahead of Summer and Amber and they follow, it doesn't take much moving through the winding streets until we reach the outskirts, and from here it was just a decent walk away from town. I take another look at the map just to make sure we don't miss it and continue onwards, through the green fields, I spotted Leon next to some small woodland, he was creating multiple shadow balls, at the current moment I could count 24 of them, that was quite a lot of deadly balls of exploding shadow aura. He quickly dispels them before turning towards us.
"Good morning to you all." He says to us politely. "I said we would be doing training today, first off, Summer and Amber step forward. Both of them comply with the request as Leon walks over to them both, he hand them both a blue spherical gem.
"What's this?" Summer asks in a confused tone, looking at the strange gem.
"This is an aura foci, a special gem that helps with the control of aura, you and Amber shall be learning the basics of aura usage." He explains to the both of them, they both just look at the aura foci like it was some unknown language.
"So… how do we use aura?" Amber asks Leon, holding the gem up in front of his face.
"I am getting to that point, you Amber can use your aura instinctively, most pokemon only have 1 type of aura, some can have 2 or 3 if they are special, though if they could use aura or not is the main question, you two certainly have more than enough." He says before picking up an aura foci for himself, he then holds it up and makes it float, Amber and Summer look on in wonder while I just laugh, I grab one for myself and copy.
"As Jet and I have showed you, we can use our aura to make the orb float. Now then, Summer, Amber, give it a try by focusing your inner energy into the orb and imagine it floating, I believe you will have this down fairly quickly." Leon says with confidence as he faces me, he then summons a shadow ball above his head. "Now then Jet, would you mind creating a water pulse?" He asks me, I respond with a nod and create a ball of water in my hand, this was very simple for me.
"Is this good enough for ya?" I ask him as he walks over to me, the shadow ball following him as he does so.
"Now I want you to copy what I did, make the water pulse float above you and get it to move along with you, I'm going to re-join the others as you do this.
(Leon's POV)
Well this was going better than expected, Jet had his technique down in mere minutes as he walked over to me with the water pulse following, not long after that Summer had gotten the orb to float after a great deal of focusing.
"Amber, focus." I told her for the sixth time now. She hasn't made any progress what so ever, which would be down to her less then calm nature. She throws it towards me in a fit of frustration as she hits the ground. I quickly catch the foci with psychic so it doesn't shatter against my head.
"Arceus damn this training!" She yells as loud as possible I walk over to her and hand her the foci, she takes it reluctantly.
"A little hint Amber, like with your dragon rage attack, imagine coating the orb in that energy and use your will to make it rise, for someone of your level of determination it should be mere child's play." I say to her with a small, she looks at me sceptically before standing back up with a small grin plastered on her face and holds the orb out and focuses on it intently. I turn to Jet and Summer and think about what I could have them do next.
"Summer, now that you have the basic aura control down, now we have to find your primary aspect and element, the element part is obvious by the colour of your aura and it is mostly determined by type, I can see you use grass aura." I mention to her, she just looked very confused.
"What Leon is trying to say is aura has different colours, those colours determine what type of aura you have, you can have multiple types as well, 5 is the highest recorded amount when stuff wasn't being weird" Jet says, striking an idea in my head.
"You can unlock more hidden aura types with lots of training, Amber and I currently have 2, Jet... is different, let's just say that." I say still mesmerized by his unnatural aura.
"Okay... I think I understand, what kind of aura do we all have then, I have a grass aura..." She says gesturing to herself, she was now looking at me.
"Amber has a red and a violet aura, the red one is fire and the violet one is dragon, she didn't have to train to unlock her second aura, hers was gained genetically. I on the other hand have a black and dark purple aura, my aura typing is dark and ghost." I say hoping to cram the knowledge into her head.
"What about Jet's?" She asks me quickly.
"Ya know I said 5 was the highest recorded without weird stuff happening? Well I am that weird stuff, I have every type of aura out there, I can only use my water one though..." Jet says looking very frightened. "Ya know, I'd rather not talk about this just yet, if that's okay!" He exclaims waving his paws in front of his face quickly, a nervous expression upon his face.
"Anyway, enough questions. Summer, I want you to focus your aura on the foci again, but this time I want it to glow, this requires more concentration and effort." I say trying to get her to forget about Jet for the time being. "While doing this, I will try and find out your aura aspects." I mention once again before facing Jet. "And you can try and make more water pulses, try and get up to at least 5, this would give you a massive tactical advantage in a fight.
"Okay then." Jet then creates two water pulses and makes them rise into the air, he then makes two more and makes them rise, one of them fell at this moment and a concentrated but determined look was in his eyes. This shouldn't take him long, not with how skilled he is with aura. I turn to Summer and see she has already made the ball glow and float, she was moving around like she had been doing it her whole life, she may have been before losing her memories. I take a quick study of her aura and find it's aspects.
"Summer, you can stop now, it seems you have a very calm and gentle aura, this means it will lack in combat potential over a violent destructive one like Amber's but yours is easier to control and can be used in very precise works, like erecting barriers and maybe if you master it enough, healing.
"Healing would be nice." She says quietly while looking at the orb, making it float with very little effort now, she was dreadfully impressive.
"I DID IT!" Amber yelled from behind me, I turn and see the mass of blazing red aura slowly crushing the floating aura foci, she lets the power go and the aura foci drops to the ground covered in small cracks, easily visible inside and out
"Well done Amber, considering you did both making the foci float and glow right then, even though I already know your aura aspect, it's time to move on to application, the first will be to create an orb of aura and I expect this to be much harder as you now have to focus and mould your aura without the foci's help, I wish you luck." I mention turning to Jet to be greatly surprised, he had 8 water pulses floating above his head with little difficulty, he was facing and tree and he launches them all forward, 5 out of 8 hit while the others miss just barely. He turns around and faces me.
"Oh, I just practiced something else while waiting, it got a lot easier to hold them up if they are all attached together with some aura." He mentions to me as I walk over to him, I continued to show him a few methods to make it easier and ways he could improve accuracy, all in all I had some highly skilled students on my hands.
(Some time later)
This was going surprisingly well, Amber had exploded the air in front of her multiple times as she tries to successfully manage her aura, Summer on the other hand had made a small emerald colored orb. She was making the quickest progress out of everyone.
"Well done Summer, you have the method down, now you just need to add more power while using the same technique." I mention to her, the orb she was producing was growing larger at a decent pace before suddenly popping, then there was another loud explosion coming from Amber's direction.
"Summer, you need to control the power as you add it, Amber, that's way too much power, lessen the amount over time and it shouldn't explode." I say as Amber starts making another orb, her scales were slightly charred from the resulting explosions, though it barely bothered her. I look over at Jet and notice him messing with a project I set him, I wanted him to try access another aura, he was having trouble trying to pull of anything other then water pulse though. I look towards the setting sun and think that after 12 hours of training, we all deserved a nice break.
"Okay then, I think this enough for the day, I believe we all deserve a good rest because we are leaving in a couple more days" I mention to everyone as they stop what they are doing and gather round. They all seemed excited so I took it as a good sign.
"So then, what do we do now?" Jet asked me, grabbing his scalchop and inspecting it, I've noticed he does this quite a lot.
"I have decided to treat us all, we made plenty of money thanks to the incident with Barga so why not go visit one of the mountain hot springs?" I tell them, all of them looked happy besides Amber.
"What about me, I don't mix with water!" Amber bellows into my face.
"Amber, some space please and there is a lava pool for fire types." I mention whilst taking a step back. Amber looked much happier knowing she wasn't getting left out.
"So when do we leave?" Jet asks me, putting his scalchop back.
"Now, if possible." Everyone perked up from this news, Jet and Amber rushed us to get ahead as they grab their bags, Summer acted a little more mature about it as she picks her bag up. We were now ready to leave to the mountain which was a short walk.
(Jet's POV)
It didn't take us long to get to the mountain nor did it take us long getting to the hot springs, they are owned by a small family of buizel and floatzel so they had constructed a path up, it was slightly chilly but nothing unbearable. I look at the strange building in front of me as we enter it. The inside of the building had a nice range of small trees and flowers and a desk on the other side of the room, there was a motherly looking floatzel at the counter messing with the till, she was holding a very young buizel who looked at us with big eyes.
"Damn thing's busted again. Oh, good evening, I assume you're here for the springs?" She floatzel says looking up from the tills, we all nod and Leon hands over some money, I'm not sure how much. "Well then, SAMUAL!" She yells into the other room, a buizel comes walking out before looking at us.
"Hello there, I'm Sam and I will be showing you the springs, please follow me." He says walking back through the door, we all follow him and walk through a hallway, at the end we go through one more door and we are outside again, but it was a lot warmer as steam surrounded us, it was a massive spring next to a large cliff, and a small cave in the cliff that had a red glow.
"Wow..." Summer gasped out, she slowly walks towards the water before looking back.
"Now then, I hope you enjoy your stay and if you need any assistance, feel free to call my name, I will be there as quickly as I can, and for the charmander, the cave up there has a small lava pool for fire types." He says before bowing and leaving, I quickly dive into the water before slowly floating to the top, letting the hot water sink into my fur and relax my body, this was heaven. A small splash of water hits me as Summer jumps in, I look up and watch her swim up, she was a very awkward swimmer but she managed it.
"Jet, some help please." She says as she slowly paddles up to be splashing water everywhere, I hold her arm and pull her towards the edge where the water was much more shallow.
"I will teach you how to swim without soaking everyone within a 5 meter radius sometime in the future if you want." I ask her as she leans against the rocky side and closes her eyes, a goofy smile adorned her face, she looked too cute right now, I felt my face redden as I join her, I noticed Leon hadn't gotten in yet, he was sorting something in the bag out, he closes the bag and faces the spring before looking at me and Summer, he gives me a friendly smile as he slowly climbs in, I never understood the dress ralts have, apparently it's part of their body but it just seems like it would make everything awkward.
"This feels amazing!" Summer exclaims as she stretches and sinks into the water a little more, she turns to me and gives me a nice smile, I just smile back before relaxing myself. All the walking we had been doing really made this moment feel better, I could feel the soreness in my muscles just ease away.
"Summer, I'm gonna talk to Leon, he looks bored, you okay?" I ask her as I push myself into the deeper water, she just nods without opening her eyes. I slowly float over before coming to a stop at the wall, Leon looks at me as he sits there.
"So Jet, why have you come over?" He asks me before looking up at the sky, it was a beautiful night.
"Just wanted a friendly chat and to say thank you for today's training, you taught us all quite a lot." I say cheerfully as he looks at me with surprise.
"Well, it's the least I could do and with all that has happened, I thought it would be for the best." He says quickly, I join him at looking into the sky, it was a full moon and nearly the end of Summer, we need to make it to the Luna tower before first frost or this journey could get a lot more dangerous.
"It was a good choice coming here, it's a great night and we have a perfect view of the sky, not a cloud up there." I say to him, relaxing slightly, Leon could be hard to make conversation with sometimes.
"It was nice talking to you Jet, I'm going to meditate for a while if you don't mind, I'm sure Amber wouldn't mind someone to talk to." He says as he closes his eyes and goes quiet, well so much for that. I get up and out of the water sparking Summer's interest.
"Jet?" She asks me looking over at me.
"Just gonna go see Amber, won't be long." I say as she turns around again. I move over to the bright cave and upon entry it was scorching, the lava pool wasn't far away and I could see Amber sitting at the far side fast asleep, well so much for talking to her. I leave the cave and jump back into the water.
"Jet!" An annoyed voice shouts, I turn around and notice Summer's slightly irritated face covered in water.
"Sorry!" I exclaim as I swim over to her, she stays where she is and looks around, her eyes stop on something and I take a look and see a small path going up the mountain, it didn't look too long but it was a little to dark to go exploring but... "Do you want to go check it out?" I ask her, she looks curious but nervous, she nods but points back to the reception building first, I caught on quickly.
"Sam!" I shouted before hearing some scurrying as he moves quickly out, he looks at the both of us.
"Did you want something?" He asks me, I point to the path way.
"Yeah, where does that path lead to?" I ask him, he smiles slightly.
"It's safe if and public if that's what you're wondering and I think the both of you should follow it, a nice surprise awaits you." He says before leaving the spring area again, I was genuinely curious now and decide to take a look.
"You coming then Summer?" I ask her quickly, offering her a hand out.
"Sure, it sounds fun." She says grabbing my hand as I lift her out, we walk to the path together hand in hand so neither of us fall, it was a think path with steep rock faces to each side of us, it didn't take us long to see a slight glow ahead, we quickly exit the path and are greeted with one of the prettiest sights I have ever seen, we were on a cliff that over looked the forest and we also had the moon light shining everywhere, but the flowers that were growing on the rock where glowing with the moonlight, making a lovely silver glow around the entire area.
"It's so pretty..." Summer whispers, her grip on my hand tightening slightly, she walks forward to the edge of the cliff along with me and sits down, I join her as we enjoy the view, I don't think I've seen Summer this happy before. We sit there in silence until I feel Summer lean against me, I look at the moon and begin to hum a tune, it builds up until I decide to start singing one of my favorite songs, I did tell Summer I would sing it to her before.
"You and I were born right here in the same world." I sing as Summer looks at me, I smile as I continue.
"For this one brief life, we're beneath the same sky." I pull Summer closer as I point upwards.
"The great flow of time. The wide expanse of space." I gesture all around with my arms.
"We are lucky enough to share this lifetime we get." I squeeze her hand, a noticeable blush spreads all along her cheeks.
"We can gain more if we give. By taking, we only lose." I sing letting go of her hand and laying down, she just stares at me.
"Let us make this a new age where we show our gratitude." I pull her down, she squeals slightly as her blush grows larger, she was laying next to me now.
"There's a fragile bud of hope, blooming in each of our hearts." I quickly jump up before offering my hand.
"Don't you take that away. Our dreams are meant to be shared." She takes it and I help her up, maybe a little too much as she goes flying into my chest, knocking us both down.
"Let it grow. Let it live. Let us see what it will bring." I keep the singing up, even with the flustered snivy laying on me.
"When we share in our love, we make a beautiful world." I lift her up whilst standing up myself, if her face got any more red then she's probably faint.
"Search it out, and find the way: the point where we can all meet." I put her on the ground and grab her hand again, I face the edge of the cliff
"The point where we're all the same. There it lies: the future we seek." Looking at the moon, I continue my song.
"Start from there, and then we'll forge a world where all can be free." I let go of her and sit down on the edge.
"Free to dream, and free to smile. Free to be who we will be." Summer joins me during this time and I reach over to the right of me to grab some of the flowers.
"Let's make sure we create... A world of our hopes and dreams." I give them to her and her eyes shine and smiles bursts out.
"In our brief lives, we've managed to meet. Treasure this gift, this precious time that we have." I look out at the sky once again and I put my arm around Summer.
"In our brief lives, we've managed to meet. Treasure this gift, this precious time that we have." She does the same, not letting go of her flowers as I finish up the song, I look at her once I was done.
"Jet, that was great!" She exclaims as I look into her beautiful eyes, I start to blush myself from the spectacle I just made.
"You think so? I'm glad you like it, that song is called Kiseki, it means miracle." I tell her, it was only now I realize how close we were, our faces were centimeters apart and I could even hear her breathing, I feel my face heat up even more. She pulls me right
"Jet, thank you for everything, for protecting me, for helping me, for always being honest and strong and for..." She looks at me with some big eyes and I decided to go for it.
"Summer, I love you!" I say before moving in a kissing her, she was surprised at first but she quickly melted into it as she started to kiss back. I don't think I have ever felt as happy as I did at this exact moment, I pull her closer into a hug as the kiss continues, we slowly split off as Summer looks at me with content eyes, I just give her my goofiest smile as I ask her "Summer, will you be my girlfriend?" The answer was an obvious one.
"You don't even need to ask." She says pulling me to the ground, in some attempt to stay up I just made it worse as me and Summer go tumbling backwards into the flowers, we stop with me being on top of Summer, we look at each other before laughing heavily. I roll to the side of her so I didn't crush her and she turns around to face me, I cuddle her as she smiles and closes her eyes, I was about to say something until I realized she had fallen asleep.
"Heh... You're my Kiseki." I say as it starts to snow. I close my eyes thinking life can only get better from this point.
(Amber's POV)
"I told you it would happen!" I shout to Leon, we were hiding in the shadows on the path and had just witness Jet and Summer's little show.
"So you did, but the air is cooling rapidly, I think we should take them back to the inn" He says as he picks them both up with psychic, not moving them from their cute position and we start to walk down the path. We walk past the springs and head into the building where we are greeted by Sam, he gave us a quick grin before giving me a leaflet on some flower, I didn't really understand it so as we left I handed it to Leon.
"Hmm... I think I know what triggered this, according to the book those flowers are called Moonglow and they only bloom when a full moon is out, upon blooming they release a substance in the air that is harmless to us but it heightens confidence apparently, that's very interesting." He says, reading more on the flowers as we head down the mountain, he wouldn't stop reading it all the way back to the Inn and he like sharing the odd fact every once in a while that added to the annoyance.
"Okay, shut up now, we're back!" I yell at him, he just sighs and puts the leaflet in his bag as we enter the inn, it was fairly late and Talonflame was asleep on his perch, we didn't bother him as we head up the stairs, I was about to enter our room when Leon stopped me.
"I think we should give them the double bed, don't you think? "I ask Amber, she grins as she enters the other room instead, I take them both into the double room and lay them on the bed, under the blankets, just as I was about to leave a voice appeared.
"Cheers mate..." Jet said quietly, I smile slightly before entering the next room to join Amber, but she had already fallen asleep on one of the beds, well I might as well get a good rest for the tough days we have ahead.
Firago: AHHHHHH! It's finished!
Jet: My poor ears...
Firago: Sorry about that, I just need to say that this took way too long.
Jet: You did have a couple other things you were working on though.
Firago: That reminds me, everyone go to my profile and torture my characters in the questioning and read the great collab with me and SnivyPro18!
Jet: Not the questioning, I've seen some of the things the internet have sent us and it's bloody scary!
Firago: Tough luck, deal with it, ya got yer girlfriend now, anyway fans, adiós!
