5 years later
Argis stood out on Whiterun fields with their newest adoptive daughter. Lucy, they found her begging, basically starving. So both him and Jorik took her in.
He grinned when he spotted a red dragon and black dragon mocking fighting in the sky. He had to shake his head, shortly after his husband had taken a new form he had thought they couldn't be together. What a fool he had been.
He was let in on the biggest secret of dragons. Something no mortal knew, and it still amazes him. He wondered how many times someone had seen a dragon and didn't realize it, or how many times they had spoken to one and didn't know about it.
His grin widened "Look daddy, there is dad and uncle Odahviing," Lucy squealed delightfully.
"Yep and they should be coming in for a landing soon. Supper is almost cooked," Argis murmured.
"Is uncle Paarthurnax coming too?" Lucy asked with a delightful grin.
"We won't know until he shows," Argis reminded her.
"But daddy can call him," Lucy stated with her arms cross and a stern look on her face.
"Then we will have to talk to him," Argis chuckled. He glanced back up in the sky and noticed the two dragons were coming in for a landing. He moved Lucy behind him, so she would be harmed with the dirt that would be kicked up.
He walked as both landed and shifted to human form. He grinned at Jorik, chuckling softly when he was pulled into a deep kiss. He broke from the kiss panting, "hungry?" Argis asked with a wink.
"Hmm, on yes, for both," Jorik murmured ignoring the groan from Odahviing.
~oooooooooooooooooooo~
Argis lay back on the grass, Everyone was sleeping soundly, it was his turn to for watch. He smiled as he listened to the two dragons snore loudly.
With a flick of his wrist and a whispered word, he called for his companion, a gift from Shor to him. He smirked as Lydia appeared taking a seat on a log beside him.
"You look happy," She murmured.
"Couldn't be happier, life is perfect," Argis answered with a slight smile. And it was, his life right now was perfect. His husband knew who he was, Lydia was sort of back with them and they had a daughter now. They couldn't ask for anything else.
