Bio: Yugi doesn't have any memories of his life before he "arrived" (Read: CRASH-LANDED) in Ponyville. what he remembers is the name he has, as it was the only thing he could recall. Despite it, he adjusts to the normal life in Ponyville...if anything in the town is considered normal. He ends up making fast friends with Pinkie Pie (who had claimed that she "wished him" into Ponyville) and became friends with Princess Luna during Nightmare Night. Yugi, kind of like Fluttershy, is a meek sort of Pony. however, unlike Fluttershy, his shyness is not a crippling factor-he wants to make friends, and he has no fears of other ponies, so the only time he goes completely quiet is when in a huge crowd. Many ponies underestimate him due to his usual quietness and size...which is a pretty bad thing to do.

Yugi may be small for a Male Pegasus, and he may not be a fighter, but he's the Last Pony to Underestimate-what he lacks in Muscle, he makes up in brains and sharp wit. What wills him to stand up to foes is the desire to protect his friends, and he'll do so (even if it means getting the crap bucked out of him) if it'll help them. He tries to move to not hurt his opponents by challenging them to games or riddles to figure out, finding it better to disarm them with wits rather than to head on attack them. However, Hurt any of his friends, and the gloves come off.

Yugi enjoys playing games (he considers it more of a hobby than anything, but still enjoys playing and collecting games) and being with his friends. He's also quite fascinated by Magic, and reads up on it whenever he can. while Yugi seems like a Normal Pegasus, Luna and Celestia (and the Mane Six, aside from Pinkie) sense that beyond his exterior lies a power that he has no idea of. He currently works as a Courier for Sugarcube Corner as his main job.

Personality: Softspoken and Polite, and mainly the nice colt around, despite being shy at times. Despite it, he likes to engage in conversation and is more social with people. keeps calm and level-headed in serious moments, and keeps a bit of optimism (albeit not without a little snark), and doesn't discriminate. Usually patient and Docile, he can lose his temper and will be harsh and mean to others if they've hurt or done anything to hurt his friends. He will avoid conflict otherwise.

Battle Info?: Avoids conflict when he can, but he's more of a trickster, tricking/conning the enemy or hoisting them by their own petards without actually hurting them. He uses his wits more than his muscles. He can use magic, but he would need a focus to channel the energy through for his magical energy to actually be usable. His size and weight adds to his agility, and he can fly pretty fast (not as fast as Rainbow Dash, however, unless he pushes himself hard enough), but his endurance isn't a strong point and will probably be K.O'd by a pretty strong hit. Uses Synergistic tactics and takes the lead in any tactics that require working together in a group. Often is the Brains of a duo situation, with either Pinkie Pie or Luna acting as Brawn.

Spirit of Hope: A gentle yet enduring spirit, Ponies embodying this element are usually more optimistic and are more neutral to situations. They're not overly-energetic, but they aren't withdrawn and self-sheltered, either. endures many things for their friends, trying to keep spirits up in bleak points. May view themselves as normal, though might have something special on the inside that subtly come off to others. They never give up, at least not readily or easily. Despair is the Opposite Spirit, But is the most easily overcome by the Spirit of Hope. Those with False Hope are Spirits of Deception.

Relationship Information:

The Mane Six

Twilight Sparkle: Twilight and Yugi share more of a Tutor-Student relationship, taken literally when he has to be taught on how to use magic. At best, Yugi plays the Watson to Twilight's Sherlock, and is usually supportive of her actions (and vice versa). He is only a snarker with her whenever she goes a little too far with Perfectionist traits or over-exaggerates a small problem. She is trying to help him with his Amnesia as much as she can, often taking logical routes to approach it.

Applejack: Yugi and Applejack don't usually spend time together, due to the latter's busy schedule at the farm, but there are times when he helps her. Applejack often appreciates his company, especially when he lends a hoof to help her. Whenever Applejack's pride becomes a problem (Last Roundup and Applebuck Season) for her and everypony else, Yugi is the one who often talks politically/logically and realistically with her, though it is around this point that they tend to butt heads and argue with one another.

Pinkie Pie: The Relationship between Yugi and Pinkie can be misinterpreted as a romantic relationship, but that's not entirely true. Yugi does care about Pinkie a great deal (and vice versa for Pinkie), but their relationship is Platonic at most, and more like a brother-sister relationship at least. Yugi often plays the Straight Man to Pinkie's wackiness, but he honestly enjoys the antics Pinkie does in order to make Ponies smile. Because their bond is so tight and Yugi is very close to Pinkie as a result, Pinkie is a lot less hyper and random around him. She is still bubbly and optimistic, but she's a bit more down to earth and her cleverness often shines more. If she's ever upset or sad, Yugi will try his best to cheer her up and won't leave until she's happy. The best way to describe this relationship in something simpler? Their relationship is similar to the Hero and the Partner characters in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, With Yugi and Pinkie in the respective roles.

Rainbow Dash: Both Yugi and Rainbow share a "Sensitive Colt and Tomboy Mare" relationship, as well as a Friendly Rivalry/Frienemy situation. Where as Yugi is level-headed and usually calm, Rainbow is more brash and rough. There are times when Rainbow will get competitive with him, and the odds are usually 50/50 between them-She might win one, he'd win another to prove a point. He never goes too far in competing, and often Rainbow is the one challenging him (though it never stops him from challenging her when need be). He is the most snarky and sarcastic around Rainbow personally, but never in a crude or mean manner.

Rarity: Yugi finds Rarity to be more like an Aunt-figure to him, though he never outright calls her one (in all due respect, of course, as he doesn't want her feeling old). Rarity, when she does rope Yugi into things, often has him helping as a personal assistant (and living Mannequin for Male clothing design) during travels, but treats him well and treats him like she does with the rest of her friends. Though she might not show it or outright say it, Rarity is as concerned about Yugi's Amnesia as Twilight is, though unlike Twilight, she approaches it subtly, hence why she brings him along on travels when she goes out of town of Ponyville (at least, when she can). Whatever he does remember and shares with her, however, Rarity is fascinated by it, and some memories actually inspire her to make designs. Due to being used to Pinkie's antics, Yugi is used to Rarity's own "Drama Queen Moments", but tends to be comforting when he can help it.

Fluttershy: Both are Neutral towards each other by first glance, though this could be due to Fluttershy being real shy around him. He tries to encourage her to be more confident, but it at times backfires. Secretly, Fluttershy actually looks up to Yugi for being more confident and social with and around other ponies. While Yugi tries to help with her confidence, he never pushes her onward with something if its upsetting her.

The Princesses

Princess Celestia: Due to the fact that their interactions are often sparse, it's unclear how well their relationship is. Celestia does treat Yugi like she does with Twilight, but encourages the friendship he develops with her sister more. There is a bit of acquaintanceship, however, as Yugi treats her like anypony else outside of public, instead of constantly treating her like Royalty.

Princess Luna: Yugi's relationship with Luna, however, is much more stronger, and is the second strongest bond he has (the first being between him and Pinkie Pie; see above). For a bizarre reason, Yugi is used to some of Luna's old ways (though THE ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICEleaves much to be desired), and helps her adapt to modern times. Though Luna will never admit it in public, tossing the royal facade aside, both Luna and Yugi are alike in most of their ways. She figures this is why they are able to get along so well, but she really does appreciate his friendship and company, and acts like a big sister towards him, even to a point where she will defend his honor if need be. Considering Luna's age, this friendship can also be considered Inter-generational. To sum up their friendship briefly? It is very similar to the friendship/bond that Yugi had with someone else before coming to Ponyville.

Princess Cadence: Information currently unavailable.

The Children

Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom: Due to not having a Cutie Mark, the CMC often treat him like a member of their group. At most, Yugi plays along as a Chaperon, to make sure the girls' antics do not get out of hoof. Sweetie Belle is usually the most respectful of his age (though he's not old, he is older than them) and treats him with the amount of respect that she would show her sister.

Spike: like with the CMC, he acts as a Chaperon/babysitter to Spike when need be. Spike is normally neutral, but due to Yugi hanging out with Rarity, he does get jealous of the pegasus (albeit, he has no reason to really fear Yugi stealing Rarity). While they usually get along, there are times where Spike will drive Yugi up a wall.

Babs Seed: Information currently unavailable.

Dinky: Dinky has a one-sided crush on Yugi for some odd reason. while they do talk now and then, they barely interact, hence the relationship is unclear.

Others:

Shining Armor: A Good friendship at best, the two are penpals due to Shining's job, but they will hang out whenever they have the time to. Yugi often gives Shining Armor tips with his relationship with Cadence.

Bon-Bon/Sweetie Drops and Lyra: Acting as Sugarcube Corner's Courier, he often passes by Bon-Bon's shop on his usual route of deliveries, and often they will often meet and talk.

Derpy: A regular customer, Yugi usually delivers her muffins whenever she's working. Derpy is rather sweet on him and treats him like a friend.

Misc. Details:

- Yugi helps Rainbow Dash with clearing up the weather on mornings, and like all Pegasi, he can control the clouds and manipulate the weather they can generate. Many a time he'll wake Rainbow up by making it rain on her while she's asleep on a cloud.

- Yugi's name means "Game" in Japanese (though it may not be news to you), which Luna knew first off. it's the reason why She calls him "Little Game" (due to both name, and size).

- he is smaller than normal male Pegasi, probably only as big as the mares (or maybe a little shorter).

- As stated before, Yugi doesn't discriminate and tries to be friendly with (almost) anypony. He makes a point though, that while he's friendly, he isn't completely naive.

- He often goes to Visit Luna at the spot where she raises the moon (which isn't far from Ponyville) to talk and converse with her.

- Pinkie normally follows him around Ponyville, and he doesn't really mind if she does.

- He has a build up of magic within him (from where, he has no idea), and without a foci to release it or use it through (like a charm or amulet), it'll come out as bright purple and/or blue flames when he is extremely emotional or enraged (often his mane and tail catching alight). extracting it from his body will prove fatal to him.

- does have rare moments of snarkiness outside of personal matters, normally when faced in a seemingly tense or troubling situation. It might be a mechanic of coping with the given situation. otherwise, he remains calm and collected unless pushed too far.

- has a habit of talking too much when nervous (normally digging himself into a grave), and gets flustered easily when it comes to Mare stuff. when teased about being Pinkie's "Coltfriend" (which he isn't), he will deny it, but his choice of words don't help his case.

- His mind is one of the few places Luna will get lost in when dreamwalking due to his memory loss. As such, she may wander into places and memories that he does not recall, but are there in his mind regardless.

- If he acts harsh/cruel and mean to a friend, it's only to teach them a lesson or at least put them on the right track-he doesn't enjoy it, but he will do it if necessary.
