Chapter 17: Recovery And New Beginnings! We Are The Golden Spirit Pirate Crew!
(Inside Light Years, Door 8 "Medical Military Department" Waiting Room)
"Dammit...I'm a failure as Vice Captain, I let my Captain and our new recruit get badly injured in fight while I...I simply relaxed easy on Light Years's back. How will I tell my captain instead of fighting like a man I ran to save our ship first from sinking in lava? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH ME?! I SHOULD OF JUST RUSHED IN THERE LIKE A MAD MAN AND BEAT ALL THEM IDIOTIC MARINES UP!" Carlos screamed out at the top of his lungs letting out all of his built up emotions.
He was sitting outside of the M.M.D (Medical Military Department) on one of the many waiting room chairs, his hands were placed on his face and his hidden tears dripped on the pavement. Inside of the M.M.D was a normal miniature hospital: hospital beds, scrubs, bandaids, ace bandages, Q-tips, Gloves and plenty of more doctor material...Gantz was in medical heaven.
It's been a whole day since Doctor Gantz started his immediate surgery on Ken's body, on the other hand Ryu was barely injured now sleeping in one of the three small hospital bedrooms comfortably. After fifteen more minutes Ken's surgery was official over, his burnt skin, deep cuts and blood lost was now soft skin, healed scars and a normal amount of blood in his system. His recovery was complete! The Golden Boy was now sound asleep like a baby, but his dreams were very weird...
(Inside of Ken's mind, Lygo's castle)
"Wake up Ken-Chann or should I say sleep more? Well whatever lets have some fun!" Lygo said while floating in the air hovering over ken's laid out body. From nowhere Lygo disappeared then reappeared plunking Ken on the forehead hard sending his body traveling to the celling Instantly!
Once he fell down it was like a baby bird with a broken wing...such a pitiful sight. "What the fu...!" Lygo with the same finger lifted Ken off the ground while shaking his head slowly said "Oh nonononono Ken-Channn I will NOT Allow swearing in my castle! FLAMING BUBBLE!" Ken was now entrapped in a fierce flaming bubble ball, he tried to activated his Flaming Lion body but it was useless to Lygo's Godly fire abilities!
Ken's screeched from the pain he was enduring, he tried to rip it open with a "FLAMING SLASH" but that did little to no damage at all! Finally the Golden Boy gave up his useless struggle..! Lygo was laughing while spinning the Bubble faster and faster at one point he got tired and said to Ken:
"All you gotta say is 'sorry I tried to curse in your castle please forgive me King Lygo'!"
"No..!"
"Why not?!"
"Because I'm going to be the king of the pirates I don't need to bow down to no mortal!"
"Good point...but guess what Ken-Channn?"
"What?"
"I'm NOT mortal."
"I see I guess you win...I'm sorry for cursing at your baby Lygo, now get me out of here!"
"Good enough I guess."
Lygo floated down till he touched the red carpet bringing the flaming bubble with him on a string like a ballon, he walked directly towards his king chair and after he sat down he freed Ken from his chamber. Ken was beyond mad, but just that much more embarrass. "How can you wake somebody up like that! What's wrong with you?!" Ken yelled out watching his choose of words carefully.
Lygo still had a great big smile on his face, he walked up to Ken cheerfully and said "Ain't it about time you come up with a name for your crew Ken-Channn? What about the King Lygo Pirates or The Super Terminator Assassin Killer Pirates?"
This was Ken's first time thinking about a pirate crew's name, be he knew for sure now that Lygo was horrible at giving crew names. Then it hit him, not only is his favorite color is Gold but every pirates love Gold in all shapes and sizes, and from nowhereremembered Brooke: The Soul King but for Ken it wasn't about putting his soul into anything, it was about getting pumped up and putting his spirit into EVERYTHING! Like a slow song on replay Ken said thinking pretty hard "Golden? Spirit? Golden Spirit Pirate Crew? That's it I got it our names are going to be the Golden Spirit Pirate Crew! I got a official crew now! HELL YEAH!" Ken's face now slightly red from excitement threw his legs and face in a Elvis like pose...Lygo was quite amused now.
Lygo started to descent to the ground, his sheepish face and long yawns showed that young King was finally getting tired, he looked at Ken with his baby orange eyes and said sleepily "That's great Ken-channn that's great, but it's nap time understand? I need my beauty sleep plus it's time for you to wake up it's morning! Goodbye!"
(Inside Light Years, Door 8 "Medical Military Department" 'Patient Room')
Ken was sleeping marvelously on his hospital bed, from nowhere his body jitter upwards and a huge gigantic smile surfaced his face. "I'm The Captain Of The Golden Spirit Pirate Crew | And All These Other Pirates Don't Have A Clue | Marines Try To Chase Us, But There Scared And Glued | Were Going Find One Piece While Acting A Fooooool!"
Ken sung while being very energetic, Gantz heard Ken & while he was checking Ryu's heart in the room next door and rushed towards his room hoping nothing was going on. When he walked in Ken was doing a weird chicken dance while barking like a dog, which took the doctor totally by surprise. "Are...Are you ok Ken?" Ken replied with a grin and said "Guess what? I got a name for my crew finally! Call Ryu and Carlos so I can tell them the good news!" Gantz sighed in relieve amazed of how short a time it took him to recover completely.
The young doctor turned around then walked out Ken's hospital room, a couple minutes later Ryu walked in complete healed with a gigantic grin plastered on his face, soon after Carlos walked in sadly still holding his face like a big baby. Sniffs were heard from Carlos which kinda ruin the mood, Ken looked at him questioned finally said something to break the ice Carlos created "Why are you crying Carlos? Your suppose to be my second in command, NOT the first to tear up!"
Ryu was laughing at the sight of Carlos on the sly trying not to get noticed, Carlos walked over towards Ken bed and said emotional before he was interrupted "KEN I'M SORRY I FAILED AS YOUR VICE I SHOULD OF JUST WENT SAVE Y'ALL FI..." Ken stood up off his bed in a instant punching Carlos in the jaw hard! "What DO you mean first?! So you would let our ship, the one Brooke gave up burn in a phoenix ashes? Think! You did the right thing, how would we be able to escape? Not many people would take a pirate in on that island plus we were wanted!" Ken said angrily now voice changed in to happier one "You made me proud Carlos, you made a smart decision instead of a stupid one...guess what I got a name for our crew guys! We are The Golden Spirit Pirate Crew!" Ryu walked closer with a grin screaming out "That's BADASS!" Carlos also had a smirk on his face with a few tears falling down and said "About time idiot..!" Ken the most happiest of them all jumped up in a spin and screamed out at the top of his lungs "FINALLY WERE A OFFICIAL CREW! LET'S SET SAIL GUYS!"
