Chapter 19: Not Everything Fun And Games

Stated Ryu uncertainly while stretching his body in a awkward position "Now I'm forced to be on look out all night while they sleep soundlessly...what a rip off." After Doctor Gantz explained his drop off destination a day and half ago the Golden Spirit Pirate Crew, following the Log Pose, we're traveling directly towards the lawless island Zero District. Amazingly they reached Z.D a whole half of day earlier than expected which made Ryu who seen the island from a distance first sighed in relief since his boring lack-of-sleep look out duties were fulfilled. Using the speakerphone that was hanging out of the falcon's mouth (It is a falcon shaped watch tower after all) he picked it up and pressed the 'ALL' Department button and with a evil grinned he started screaming at the top of his lungs "WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKEEEE UPP! WAKE UP KEN YOUR HIGHLIGHTER HEAD, KITTY LITTER LICKING BASTARD! WAKE UP CARLOS YOU TOP HAT WEARING NO CANE NO DANCE MOVE KNOWING PRICK! WE MADE IT TO ZERO DISTRICT 12 HOURS EARLIER THEN EXPECTED!" Ryu finished loudly with a smirk on his face 'That'll teach you guys to cheat me in Rock Paper Scissors ever again,' thought Ryu as he watched his crew members walk upstairs, Ken holding his head sideways with a killer headache and Carlos simply aggravated because he stayed up reloading Tick Tock half the night, both sporting newly created black bags around their eyes. "Was all that really necessary?" Carlos said using his eyes as invisible bullets and Ryu's forehead as the dartboard. Sweat unnoticeably dropped from Ryu's face. "My head hurts SOOOO bad right now, it's a speakerphone Ryu a freaking speakerphone why would anybody need to yell through one!? I'm going get a aspirin from the storage room...I'll be back," Ken stomped frustrated back down Light Years hoping he could find a aspirin or two in the Department 10 storage unit. After about 15 mins he came back happier than ever with his hands behind his back which honesty creeped both Carlos and Ryu out all of a sudden. "Cap'n are you ok? Did you take the right medication because you seem happier than awhile ago don't you agree Carlos?" Carlos still dumbfounded simply nodded his head in agreement. "I found.." Ken started saying in a serious tone. "What did you find Ken!?" Carlos exclaimed in-a-need-to-know voice. "I found a bag of cooked meat in the storage room! Hahahaha," Ken said while laughing and pulling the chicken from behind his back and started chewing on it with a smile on his face. Ryu and Carlos both fell over at the same time while Ken simply eat his meat without sharing any.

"You've changed Blue Jam Jasmine...why become a prostitute when you were once, like all wannabe pirates says "free"? Said the Marine who literally spit on the ground after saying that last word. Jasmine chuckled at his words "Hmm I guess your right I was a wannabe pirate, my entire crew was single handedly killed by one super pirate, he left me alive purposely, raped me over and over again, stole all my treasure and broke the mast on my ship, afterwards he was nice enough to give me the opinion to either die at sea like my crew members or jump aboard his ship and live another day under his jurisdiction. Where is this freedom I once spoke of Captain Arran Deed? What is the point of my life? I allowed my crew members to die meaningless deaths how can I explain that to their families and friends? Why everytime I see a 'Evil' pirate I wanna kill them off the ends of the world? Why couldn't I choose to be a Marine instead of a pirate huh Captain Deed? I just wanna DIE I'm tired of being a money making whore for that MAN! Jasmine simply fell to the ground full of belated tears, it started raining and the more it rain the more the tears ungracefully raced down her pale reddish dimples. Most of the prostitutes went inside the buildings but Jasmine, Captain Deed and Deed's Men were all in the middle of the road getting drenched by the storm's emotions . "Hmmm...do you wanna change your injustice ways, giving up prating and prostitution for the greater good of humanity forever? If you say yes I will allow you to join as one of my men of course allowing you to get your bounty erased by Headquarters temporary while you prove yourself as a True Marine , but if you, let's say refuse my offer I will have no other choice but to take your head in dead or alive Pirate Captain Blue Jam Jasmine. I have a heart & I respect your honesty but that 33,000,000Beris bounty on your head isn't for fun and games it's nothing but business. I'll give you a second to dec-" "I wanna be a Marine, Captain Deed I don't want to be a pirate or a prostitute I just want to be able to have the strength to destroy any pirates with the disiree to kill dozens of people and have fun while committing such a act!...PLEASE I beg you allow me to follow your Justice so I can become a better person hopefully forgiven of my sins!" Jasmine stood up now looking at her overly sexual looking features with a sad expression looming on her face. Captain Deed noticed the unhappy look she was giving herself and without thinking he covered her entire body with his Navy Jacket showing his muscular body mass in the process. The sun bursted out the clouds in mere seconds leaving the once wet Navy soldiers almost dry again. "I hate the sun I'm more of a moon guy if you know what I mean?" Stated Deed as he was now looking at the embarrassed Jasmine kicking her feet at invisible rocks while looking down childishly. "Alright Jasmine Bluebell you are now instated under command of Captain Arran Deed the 47th captain of the Marine Corps who server directly under Navy Headquarters, do you except the invitation that was offered to you?" Said Deed giving out his wholeheartedly evil smirk he always use against undecided people. "I do I wanna join at any cost sir!" Said Jasmine actually happy for the first time in months. Deed wanted to clap in applause but more important things were in his mind first. He pulled a paper out of his back pocket and handed it to Jasmine which she read in her mind:
"Dear Captain Arran Deed,
"Two young newcoming pirates expected to be giving high bounties after defeating Randy Spearhead and Jack Range with not much effort. Also the two pirates afterward travel to Phoenix Island and attacked the captain of the Navy base their Zandak Turk Aka Captain Hook-line. With the help of their newest crew member Ryu D. King, The Bloody Shocker" they were able to defeat ALL the big name Marines and 1/3 of the soldiers including Captain Hook-Line himself. Captain Deed we need you to take pictures of this crew so we can place rightfully bounties on their heads...by any means necessary."

"I see," said Jasmine handing the paper back to Deed "In other words You need my abilities right?" Deed simply folded the paper back in his pocket and sighed sheepishly "No...but with your ability it would be a lot easier, if you can complete this mission I'm sure HQ will raise your position in the Navy quickly." Said Captain Deed with his right hand over his mouth, then he removed it and with a confident look said "Alright MEN and ummm FEMALES those three pirates should be here any minute now get ready to prepared for battle!" All the Marines including Jasmine screamed at the top of their lungs and say loudly "YES SIR CAPTAIN DEED!"
