Author's Note

so! I AM SOOO SORRY! i have been like really really really busy :) school life and such xD I wanted to thank you all who reviewed and i'm like super excited for this chapter just because inuyasha had come back in the last chapter, im sure we are all excited to see how that pans out! Sadly to say there is only about ohhh...3-4 chapters left. i know this ride has been amazing. but the reason there is only 3-4 chaps left is because at some point and time ill have a job, be focusing on my studies, i may even move in with Elvira or someone. xD But who knows how long all that would take me? if I had to keep up with all of that PLUS write this story which has given me so many writers blocks ): well, thats just not fair for me OR you guys! Does anyone else feel like im breaking up with you guys? ): man, that sucks! I DON'T WANT THIS TO END!

Kagome: then dont end it

me: you dont understand i unfortunetly HAVE a life

inuyasha: pffft, what life? sitting around watching anime? Doing "Homework"? yeah, real fun...

kagome: InuYasha...

Inuyasha: WHAT DO YOU WANT WENCH!?

me: oh no...-facepalms-

kagome: SIT! SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT!

me: uhm...-winces- st-

twins: STORY TIME!

What is InuYasha doing here? How did he find me? I left the Shikan jewel in the fedual era..."InuYasha...what, what are you doing here?! How did you find me?! What do you want?!" Kagome insisted as her eyebrows furrowed and she clenched her fists, Kaoru looked at her with such concern hoping that she wouldn't do anything to get her hurt.

"Kagome, Kagome, Kagome...I just came after you like I always did." InuYasha replied with a dark sulky voice. He grinned that grin with such a smirk that always pissed her off. Hikaru could see that she was getting annoyed, for he too was frowing inpatient with the idiot who just marched in and slobbered all over his twin brothers 'to be girl-friend'.

"K-K-Kagome?" Kaoru spoke quietly.

"Hn.? Oh, Kaoru. Uhm, remember that story i was telling you? Well, this is InuYasha...how i met him seems unrelivant right about now..." Kagome sighed. She knew that this would blow her new life to shreds, she knew she was going to lose everything she built up from day one...Why did he find me, i just had my life going straight back together! Why can't I have a normal life...why can't i just return back to way before I fell down that well!?

"Kagome. Let's go home!" Inuyasha grabbed Kagomes arm and flung her over his back.

"BAKA! IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE WITH YOU YOU CHEATER, YOU...YOU LIAR, YOU...YOU...YOU LIED AND CHEATED WITH HER OF ALL PEOPLE! I WAS HAPPY WITHOUT YOU!" Kagome repeatedly hit his back over and over and over until she could not hit it anymore, and by that time Kaoru, Hikaru, Honey-sempai, Mori-sempai, Kyoya and the king had all watched the man with white hair doggy ears and a read kimono walk away with their kagome.

"OW! DAMN IT KAGOME! Would you stop hitting me already?!"

"NO INUYASHA YOU TAKE ME BACK RIGHT NOW OR PUT ME DOWN!"

"Damn it Kagome, your coming back with me and thats final!" Inuyasha growled and looked down as he put her on the ground. "Your not going to let me speak are you?"

"Not even if i say if you let me speak and dont like what you hear, i walk away and back to the feudal times?"

"Inuyasha...I left for the better." Kagome stood up and started walking back to the school.

"KAGOME I LOVE YOU!"

Kagome stopped walking. She clenched her fists and walked forward. "Baka..." A few tears found their way down Kagome's face, she remembered all their adventures, she remembers nightly sitting by a fire with InuYasha, shippo, miroku, and sango. Smiling as Shippo and InuYasha always fought over the last piece of food...she remembered it all. Jumping down a well, escaping the school life of a normal teenager just to be with someone who was over 500 years old. she even remembered the first time He saved her...she knew it well, the first time she laid eyes on his beauty. Her face was wet now, as if she just had gotten out of a shower.

"Kagome...please..."

"Hn?" she turned around with curiosity...but she knew curiosity killed the cat. Why am I thinking this over? HE cheated on ME after the fact HE GAVE ME A MATE MARK!

He sat there. Head down, eyes closed, legs crossed, ears down...he sat there looking...Pitiful. Inuyasha knew he screwed up when he met up with Kikyo...When she...-FLASHBACK-

"INUYASHA!" She screamed his name.

"Hn? Kikyo!?" He turned around seeing his first love, Kikyo, the high priestess. He thought she died in battle against Naraku! "KIKYO!" he ran to her.

"inuyasha!" She ran to him, but she did the unthinkable, she jumped on him knocking him down. "...InuYasha..."

"k-k-kikyo, im...im with Kagome now..." he blushed, he remembered the first time she fell on him, they had just gotten off a boat. she wanted nothing but to me a normal girl.

"inuyasha, I love you." she kissed him.

he kissed back. -END FLASHBACK-

"I...I screwed up, I said things I shouldnt have, did things that were just...wrong...I abandoned you without truely knowing how I felt." He frowned. He knew he had screwed everything up, he knew...he knew that he had really lost kagome, but he couldn't help but try to get her back. He'd never truely know until he tried.

"Eh? Whats gotten into you!? I think you nee-"

"IM SORRY KAGOME!"

"...to leave..."

"KAGOME?! KAGOME WHERE ARE YOU!? KAGOME PLEASE, DON'T GO! I HAVE TO...I HAVE TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!" Kaoru shouted from a distance.

Kagome smiled, she knew one way both of them could move on. and she was going to do it before Kaoru found her, she loved him now...Kaoru...she walked up to InuYasha.

"hey, even if i dont go back...i...i...i guess, that i can...forgive you. InuYasha." she smiled.

"you do?!" InuYasha's head shot up and so did his ears, they perked about. Kagome laughed then sighed.

"Yeah, but im not going back. im happier here."

He frowned and leaned in and kissed her sweetly, she stayed still, it'll be over soon...this IS the last time after all...

"i'll always love you and miss you Kagome."

"goodbye InuYasha." she turned around and walked away. Out of his life...forever...

Or so they thought.

AUTHOR'S NOTE!

Well, now that that chapter is done...how about some sleep for me ^^ I do have school in the morning after all ;) sorry if it is short! DX i was trying to help evira find a video game of our friends that she lost ):and this is my uncles laptop that I am using 0.0 well, off to bed now i suppose and once again THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO REVIEWED AND FOLLOWED MY STORY. It has meant a lot to me (: Let me know if you would like a vampire knight a toradora a fma or another inuyasha fan fiction, this one ill be writting in school, my free time. so that way i can just ya know type what ive written and they will be so much longer chapters :D and if you havent watched toradora yet, i strongly suggest you do its amazing! :) it knocked my socks of in quite a few parts!
