I have wanted to get back to writing fanfiction of Sailor Moon for a while but have been struggling in my private life. I thought for now I would do One-Shots of Sailor Moon as a way back in for me. These mini-stories are my theories and ideas I have had in my mind that I wanted to put out there. Some could become full length stories but at the moment for now, I am just doing one-shots to try and improve my writing but also to get some ideas more solid in my head. I will let you know which ones are my theories and explain what I was trying to tell within the story - I'll do it at the bottom of the story :-)

My Bright Light
I have watched this light since it first appeared thousands of years ago. It started off small and the guardian of the Galaxy Cauldron watched it with awe and great enthusiasm. I remained only mildly interested, for I have seen many stars born within this cauldron. As time progressed, this light grew brighter and brighter, capturing my full attention. The light was warm, filled with hope.
"This light shall bring about order to the cosmos, the Light of Hope" the guardian, spoke "and I shall become it's guardian, from now I will be known as Guardian Cosmos, protector of the cosmic light" and so she renamed herself.
This was the first time I had met an enemy I wished only to consume and not destroy. This light would be my opposite, a being from which I shall engage in direct conflict. I started to spread my darkness throughout the cauldron, creating new dark entities, reminding the gods and goddesses that had locked me within this place that I am still very much alive. This light would be my way out and would ultimately belong to me. My rebirth will occur and with that, I will bring terror to the universe, all will tremble before Chaos.
The Cosmic light vibrated, expanding, and collapsing in on itself, brightening then dimming. The power was intense, I wanted it, I needed it but suddenly, the light split in two. Guardian Cosmos appeared, holding out her willowy arm, calling this light towards herself. As it went into the palm of her hand, the remaining part of the cosmic light dimmed. Guardian Cosmos smiled at the light in her hand that was now shinning more brightly.
"You will bring hope and love to the universe, and ultimately, in the distant future, your light shall be whole again, then you will be Cosmos. Go my dear light to the one who calls you, be born and live but know that darkness will follow you, and you will be the only one to stand against it" Guardian Cosmos lifted both her hands upwards and the light ascended.
"NOOOOO!" I shouted, yelled in anger and frustration. The Chaos Crystal within me burned with rage, producing more dark entities. Guardian Cosmos watched me with no emotion on her face.
"You think that light will stop my rise little Guardian? You are wrong, I will destroy that light and will bring it back here, and I shall consume it within me" I spat out. Guardian Cosmos remained unmoved, her eyes now on the remnant part of the Cosmic light. It then transformed into a star, shinning brightly again, gravitating towards Guardian Cosmos. Once in her hand, it disappeared.
"What is that?" I asked.
"The Cosmos Crystal that shall be released once it's other half re-joins it to fight against you Chaos" I growled at her impetuous words, who did she think she was speaking to in such a disrespectful manner?
"I will destroy that light" I said darkly.
"No doubt you will try to, but this light will bring order to the Galaxy in the far distant future. But for now, it shall live a life before becoming whole again. It will bring a beautiful Queen such joy and happiness but will also bring sadness. She will wield a power that you will hunger for but will never acquire and ultimately, she will take her true form and will stand against you, this is fate Chaos, you can not run away from it, she will be the other side of you, your other half" Guardian Cosmos said in her airy way.
Within the Galaxy Cauldron, my eyes see far beyond. I watched this light travel towards the Milky Way Galaxy and straight into the stomach of Queen Serenity, who held the Silver Crystal. The Silver Crystal shone brightly when this happened and emitted great power. Such was the power bestowed upon the Queen of the Moon. Oh, how it hated her and her pious attitude towards it. Chaos would destroy everything she loved and will take back the light that she now held as well as the great Silver Crystal.
In time, she gave birth to a beautiful silver haired little girl, and Chaos knew what this child was. It was the second half of the Cosmic Crystal, that was the only way such a miracle could happen for the Silver Crystal did not have this type of power. The second half of the Cosmic Crystal had become a powerful star seed and in time, would grow and bloom. This child would become a worthy foe indeed. Chaos may not be able to take the Cosmos Crystal but certainly, it could take the Silver Crystal and become powerful enough to create its own rebirth. Then, along with its own Crystal, nothing would stand in it's way for universal domination.
So this is a theory I have about Princess Serenity's birth, it has always been something I wondered because as far as I am aware, there is no mention of Princess Serenity having a father in the Manga, unless I am wrong maybe? I expand on this idea in other one-shots. I promise not all my one-shots will be like this and always open to ideas :-)
