Sailor Saturn Omake
This is my original draft of First Saturn that I wrote awhile ago and got stuck on it. I ended up scrapping it and starting over but I still did not want to get rid of this.
Hajimie sat in her room with her purple hair blowing in the breeze, which entered through her window. She had few friends and even her family looked at her strangely. Hajimie was used to spending most of her days alone. She knew she was different but did not understand why being different cause people to hate her. At first her family was not like most of the people of Saturn. Her family defended her from the harsh words of the others and showered her with love. That was until the day Hajimie's mother passed away. Her father was angered because she still spoke as if her mother was among the living. For Hajimie it was true, she could see her mother so why did others say she was dead. Hajimie could see spirits. For the longest time she did not understand why she was this way. Her parents used to think she had made up friends but when her mother passed her father being saying that said thing the people around town would say. They would call her a freak and say she was just looking for attention.
"Mother why can I still see you when people say you have been gone for so long," Hajimie asked aloud.
"I can't rest," came a faint reply. "None of us can."
"How have others been made to be a peace?" she replied.
"Never," her mother replied. "All spirits roam Saturn never resting until they turn into the wind."
"The wind," Hajimie repeated. As if called the wind outside howled and she quickly got up to shut her window. No matter day or night the howled and was not unusual to feel the sting of the sand on your bare skin if one should journey outside. Men and women were wrapped head to toe in cloth to keep the stinging sand from their skin.
"Yes. The wind are the spirits who's souls have turned to nothing as they were unable to find peace." Hajimie leaned back on her bed remembering how people on Saturn burn their dead to ash. "It is up to you to put us at rest," her mother spoke. "I believe that is why you can see the ones the rest of the people of Saturn cannot see."
"What can I do?" Hajimie wondered aloud but her mother did not answer.
Hajimie walked toward the dead lands. She knew she must be not in sound mind for wanting to go there. Pulling her cloth tigther her as the wind whipped around her. "Why am I going there?" she asked herself. Hajimie did not know why but she felt like she was being pulled to the dead lands. No one went to the dead lands, well no person of sound mind that is. No animal lived there no did plants grown there. It was said that not even the wind entered the dead lands. "Mother said the wind are the restless spirits of the people who have passed," Hajimie thought pushing again the wind as she walked. "If I am the only one who can bring peace to these spirits then that means no spirit has ever been at peace." Hajimie pushed as the wind whipped around her as if trying to pull the cloth from her body and she felt the sand sting her exposed skin. The closer Hajimie got to the dead lands the more she was sure that the winds were trying to push her back.
Hajimie pushed again the winds as she neared the edge of the dead lands. "Mother!" she yelled into the winds. "Help me! What do I do? How do I gain the power to save the spirits of Saturn before any more are lost?" Hajimie stumbled and fell to the ground as the wind, which were once the spirits of the dead who were unable to cross over, slashed and stung her skin. Looking down she noticed that some of her exposed skin was bleeding as if she had been cut by a dagger, "Why are you trying to stop me?" she yelled into the wind. "I am trying to save you."
"There is no saving them my daughter," Hajimie heard her mother's voice in her mind. "They are already lost and the only thing that remains is their bitterness from being unable to reach the afterlife."
"Then what am I doing?" questioned Hajimie "Why am I here if I can't save them?"
"But you can save the souls of the ones who have recently passed," her mother's spirit told her, "and the souls of the ones who will pass in the future."
Beyond the howling winds and flying sand Hajimie saw she was close to the dead lands. With a surge of energy she pushed forward and broke through the wind. "Ahhhh," Hajimie screamed as the sand seem to tear the flesh from her legs. She fell to the ground with a thud. Behind her could hear the howl of the wind but in front of her was eerily silent. "Too quiet," she thought. "So quiet I feel like I have gone def," she said aloud if only to hear something and Hajimie was startled at how loud her voice sounded. Brushing herself off she stood and began walking toward the rock formation on the far off horizon.
Once she made it through the dead lands she find a deep which she kills, builds a fire, drinks the blood of the deer and dances to go into a trance which takes her to the Underworld.
Spirits swirled around Hajimie as black lighting danced around her. When the spirits subsided Hajimi looked down she saw she was wearing some kind of white cloth around her top and middle with purple skirt with a purple fabric around her neck. One her chest there was a dark red purple bow with a lavender brooch in the middle. There was also a dark red purple bow on her back where the purple skirt met the white cloth. One the purple choker was a silver sigil of Saturn and on her brow rested a silver tiara with a purple gem in the center. On her feet where knee high purple boots laced together with silver cord and in her hand was a staff with a double curved blade in which resembled a G. "The Silence Glaive," Hajimie said a loud looking at the staff in her hand wondering how she knew its name.

"Saturn, you alone shall have the power to end whole planets. Your powers will lay asleep inside you as you yourself will sleep until needed." Selene told Hajime. "You are all Queens of your plants. Go rule wisely. The daughters of the Inner Warriors will be raised on the Moon for their training and act as the Moon Princess' personal guard until they reach the age of ascension. At that time they will go back to their own planets to rule."
Kankaku stepped forward, "I have seen it. Once we bear daughters and they claim their birthright we will lose our powers as they will be passed on to a new generation."
"So it begins," Selene whispers.
