Everything was perfect now, for Usagi at least. It had been over a year since the defeat of Chaos, and the Guardian Cosmos had restored everybody's physical forms. In that time some bad things had happened, sure. For instance Usagi had found out Marmou had been cheating on her and they broke up, but it was fine now. She had realized she had other people who loved her, and that she loved too. Usagi was happy.

Usagi walked out into the courtyard of Juuban High School, looking around for everyone. After a moment of looking she saw them, standing by the gate waiting for her.

"Guys!" Usagi yelled, running over while waving.

Usagi was met with the smiles of everyone as she reached the gate, she was out of breath.

"Usagi, you're late." Ami spoke,

Usagi's back straightened. That's right she was late, and here she thought they wouldn't pester her about it.

"Well…I'm not that late…" Usagi muttered, only to be met by the giggles of a few people.

Usagi put her hands on her hips, and looked away.

"It doesn't even matter that I'm late."

Everyone wore fond smiles on their faces, they were just teasing her. Usagi knew, but that doesn't mean she had to like it.

"Usagi, we planned to go to your house tonight, right? So we should get going before it gets too late. Your mom would worry." Rei spoke, always the mature one.

Usagi nodded,

"Yeah you're right."

Michiru was content, as she walked to Usagi's house with everyone. Her hand was intertwined with Haruka's and as she walked she watched Usagi chat happily with Ami.

"This is nice." Michiru spoke softly,

Haruka glanced at her,

"What?"

Michiru looked away from Usagi,

"I was just thinking how nice it is to be able to live in such peace."

Haruka smiled,

"You're right it is nice. I'd love to be able to live like this forever."

Usagi smiled as they reached her home. Usagi turned to Ami and smiled, gleefully.

"See? We're not that late!"

An exasperated sigh came from behind,

"Maybe for you but your mother might not have the same opinion." Rei said, looking at her knowingly.

"Aww! But Rei! It's not even that late!" Usagi whined.

Usagi heard Haruka laughing from behind her,

"It's not funny!" Usagi glared at Haruka quickly before crossing her arms and turning away.

The look on Haruka's face at Usagi's reaction was one of shock, but it really shouldn't be as this was Usagi.

Giggling could be heard, as the other Senshi were amused by Haruka's expression, and Usagi had stopped pouting seeing as the tables had been turned.

"Alright, we should probably get inside now, so we don't disturb the neighbors." Minako stated, trying to get the group back on track.

Even though their entire group was power Senshi who protected the planet, they were surprisingly easily sidetracked. At least when the planet wasn't at stake that is.

Everyone agreed with the sentiment that they needed to get going before they disturbed the neighbors. Mostly, because if they caused trouble for Usagi's mother she might not let them come back.

However this did not stop the giggles from continuing as the group made their way through the gate.

"Girls, is that you?" Everyone heard Usagi's mother, Tsukino Ikuko, call from another room as they entered.

Haruka took his shoes off, and listened as Usagi responded,

"Yeah, mom it's us."

Usagi's mother sighed, as she walked into view,

"You're late, you know. I was starting to get worried."

Usagi stiffened, and Rei looked at Usagi triumphantly.

"I told you she'd be worried." Rei teased,

Usagi whined,

"What no fair! You're psychic so it's not fair."

Minako blinked and pointed to Michiru,

"Well Michiru is psychic as well so she could have told you the same."

Haruka turned to Michiru and saw her giggling,

"I could have, but Usagi if you just acted more mature, and left group activities on time this wouldn't happen."

Usagi looked away quickly,

"I can be mature! I just chose not to be. Anyway! It's not like you all are that much more mature than me! Rei's thrown a broom at us before!" Usagi quickly shifted the attention off of her and onto Rei.

Rei didn't even glance at Usagi,

"That was one time."

Usagi crossed her arms,

"Yeah. Well I think one time is too many times."

No retort was heard, as before anyone could say anything everyone heard Usagi's mother clearing her throat. Turning they saw that Usagi's mother stood there with a tired expression on her face. No doubt done listening to them bickering.

"Girls, there is actually someone here to see you. So could you please calm down."

Someone here for them? That struck Haruka as odd. Why would someone be looking for them? Unless it was an enemy? Haruka hoped it wasn't.

"Oh? There is? Who is it?" Usagi asked, while everyone else just looked at Usagi's mother as if she'd grown another head.

"I don't know her personally but she told me she knew you, Usagi."

Haruka blinked, unsure of what to make of the comment.

"I'll go get her, could you please wait here? Please no more bickering, girls." Usagi's mother said as she walked away.

It was quiet, everyone stared at each other unsure of what to make of this. They weren't worried, just confused. Very confused. The sound of footsteps were heard, and all the Senshi saw Usagi's mother returning with someone walking behind her.

No, not just someone…

That was…

It couldn't be…

"Girls this is Miss Serenity…Usagi she said she knew you." Usagi's mother introduced a woman with pure white hair, who wore a hairstyle so familiar to them, and a symbol of the moon on her forehead.

Nobody spoke, not a word was said. They all just stared, dumbfounded. Haruka was sure she heard several schoolbags fall to the floor, and she felt Michiru quickly remove her hand from her grasp.

There was no doubt about it. That was undoubtedly…Queen Serenity.

This was not what Queen Serenity expected to see. When she had met her precious Serenity's human mother she had thought the woman was kind. Tsukino Ikuko was her name, and her Serenity's name was now Tsukino Usagi. When she had been told Serenity would be returning later with her friends, Queen Serenity thought that was fine. She had expected to see Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, and possibly a few other humans with her when she returned. But it appears she was only half correct. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus were indeed there, but so were Neptune, and Uranus. Why were they here? Why had they left their posts? Queen Serenity was confused, and almared when on further inspection she noticed Neptune and Uranus' hands interlocked together the way lovers would do. No, that couldn't be it. They know the rules state that Senshi were not allowed to partake in romantic relationships, especially with each other.

But when her precious Serenity, and the all Senshi saw her, and they stared, their jaws slack, and eyes wide. They had all gone deathly pale, including her Serenity. Neptune had removed her hands from Uranus, she noted. They have been breaking the rules haven't they? All of them must have been. Even sweet Serenity must have broken some rule as she shared the same expression as the Senshi.

"Girls? Is everything alright?" Tsukino asked from where she stood, confused most likely.

"Girls? Shouldn't you introduce yourselves instead of…" Tsukino Ikuko trailed off, likely having no idea what was happening in the slightest.

It seems Venus was the first one to gain some sort of bearings as she spoke,

"Yes! We should do that! Right guys?"

It was clear to Queen Serenity that Venus was desperately trying to act normal,

"I'm Aino Minako. It's nice to…meet you?" Venus spoke, awkwardly, a strange look on her face.

Venus paused and looked at her fellow Senshi, and Princess who were still staring. Venus still looked nervous, and looked away. It was silent until Venus, stomped on the foot of Mercury who finally snapped out of it.

"Oh! I'm Mizuno Ami!" Mercury stated, and slowly the other Senshi looked at her, seemingly snapping out of their stupor.

Thus the introductions continued,

"I'm Kino Makato, it's nice…" Jupiter spoke this time but trailed off before finishing,

"I-I am…Hino Rei." Mars spoke this time, looking fairly uncomfortable.

Queen Serenity looked at Uranus and Jupiter who still hadn't said anything. All the other Senshi were looking at them too, nervously it seemed.

It was Neptune who spoke up first,

"I'm Kaiou Michiru…" Neptune's voice was barely audible.

Had Neptune and Uranus been reincarnated too then? That explains why they are absent from their posts.

Finally Uranus spoke,

"I'm Tenoh Haruka, it's good to..make your…acquaintance."

It was quiet again and Serenity and all the Senshi were staring at the floor.

It was quiet. Too quiet. This was awkward…very very awkward. Usagi hated it. She wanted to get out of here. It looked like everyone else did as well. So Usagi was going to make sure they could leave, and avoid this awkwardness for a little while at least.

"Hey mom! So I was thinking about everyone else and I went to see a movie…now! Is that okay?" Usagi spoke extremely fast.

Everyone stared at her.

"Yes! That's a great idea, Usagi! Let's do that!" Minako added, agreeing with her.

Almost instantly, everyone else was voicing agreements to see a movie.

"What a movie? Usagi no! All of you no! You all already made plans to spend the night here, and we have a guest. It would be rude to leave like this and I know all of you are aware of that. No movie, you're staying here." Her mom spoke, harshly.

Well so much for avoiding this, Usagi thought deflating. It seemed everyone else shared the same thoughts.

However as long as her mom didn't leave it'd be fine, and they wouldn't have to talk about the giant elephant in the room.

Everything was quiet, and very awkward. Michiru silently wondered what they had done to deserve this. They were huddled on the floor of the living area playing cards. Well they were trying to play cards. Michiru was sure nobody knew what they were actually playing, and were just placing cards down at random. Well to be fair it was hard to play a card game when one of your girlfriends supposedly dead mother from her previous life was quietly watching you. Definitely doesn't help that said person was your queen whom you had sworn loyalty to. They had broken the rules too, all of them. Worse if Queen Serenity saw any hint of over affectionate actions directed at Usagi everyone here would be in deep trouble. As the Senshi were already not supposed to be in any relationships, but if any of them were caught with Usagi. Michiru was terrified of how their Queen might react. Slowly Michiru picked a random card, and placed it down.

The phone rang, turning everyone's attention away from the cards for a second. It was quiet as everyone sat and listened as Usagi's mom talked on the phone. She had a grim expression on her face.

"Girls, I'm going to have to leave for a little while, please behave." Usagi's mom said before turning towards Queen Serenity, and bowing.

"I'm sorry. I'm going to have to leave for a bit because my husband and son have gotten into some trouble." That was all the information anyone got before Tsukino Ikuko left.

It was quiet again.

Nobody said a word, as they could all feel the gaze of the Queen upon them. A gaze that had grown colder since they were alone.

"I think I'll go outside for a little while." Haruka spoke, as she stood up.

"Uranus. Sit back down." Queen Serenity spoke, and immediately Haruka obeyed.

The air was tense, nobody moved, or said a single word.

"Now all of you, what rules have you broken?" Queen Serenity asked, rather calmly.

Michiru was the first to speak,

"Uranus and I have been in a relationship, but it was me. I was the one who-" Michiru couldn't finish as Usagi cut her off,

"No! This isn't right! You shouldn't have the right to chastise us like this! We have the right to be in love! We have the right to be happy!"

Everyone stared at Usagi, and Queen Serenity took a deep breath.

"Serenity, the rules exist for a reason and they must be followed."

Usagi clenched her fists,

"I don't care! We're going to live our lives how we want to live them!"

All the Senshi were quiet, they were shocked at how bold Usagi was to be able to talk back to the Queen like this.

"Serenity, this doesn't even concern you. You have your beloved prince don't you?" Queen Serenity spoke, still calm.

The air grew tense, and Usagi looked away. All the Senshi felt a searing anger at the mention of Mamrou.

"No, I don't." Usagi whispered, her eyes squeezed shut.

"Endymion wasn't the person I thought he was…he cheated on me."

Queen Serenity was quiet, she did not say a word as Usagi's words ran through her head. Finally after a few moments Queen Serenity spoke,

"Serenity…"

Usagi shook her head,

"Just please leave us alone. Come on, everyone, let's go somewhere else please."
