Usagi woke up, and looked at the clock which read 6:30 am. How odd, usually she always slept in. But thinking back to the events of last night, it made sense. Part of Usagi wished those very events were just a dream. Usagi looked down, and on the floor Ami, and Makoto lay on futons, still soundly asleep.

Carefully, Usagi climbed out of bed, slowly creeping around the two sleeping figures. Usagi silently hoped she wouldn't trip, and wake them. It was a sunday, and still early so there was no real need for Usagi to get up or change, but Usagi felt compelled to do so anyway. So, very quickly, and quietly Usagi changed and did her hair before she left the room and quietly creeped down the stairs.

Downstairs, Usagi sat at the tablet and sighed. Nobody expected the events of last night. The feeling of happiness and contentment she had with life had vanished overnight. Turning her head, Usagi could see Haruka, and Michiru asleep on the couch with each on a different side. How unusual that sight was. To see those two apart, yet so close. Usagi once again sighed.

Why? Why did she have to come back? Why did she have to ruin things for everyone? She came and brought up those stupid rules, and now everything was different. Everything had changed in a single night.

"Usagi?" A familiar voice spoke, but Usagi didn't even bother to turn and greet the owner of the voice.

"Hey Mina…" Usagi mumbled, her head resting in her arms.

Usagi felt Minako put her hands on her shoulders,

"Usagi…it's okay. She's gone now, and we can spend the day together. I doubt she'll be able to keep track of us everywhere we go. Tokyo is a big place, you know."

Usagi lifted her head, and smiled slightly.

"You're right, thanks Mina."

The city was crowded and bustling as it always was. This fact should have given everyone some peace of mind after the events of last night. However, Ami watched the streets carefully, still worried. She was worried that the Queen was around watching them. It wasn't like she was the only one either. For instance, Michiru had been on the phone for at least an hour this morning trying to decide if it was still safe for Hotaru to spend the day with the group. In the end it was decided that Hotaru was alright to join them. Ami suspected both Michiru and Haruka weren't the happiest with this decision, but went with it anyway as it had been pointed out that Hotaru was only eight, and would get upset if plans were changed so suddenly.

So, here they were on the way to Hotaru. Everything would be fine…hopefully.

Queen Serenity sat on a bench somewhere in Tokyo, watching as all the people walked by. This planet, Earth, had changed. The people who inhabited it changed. Yes, the Earth certainly had changed as once it had been one kingdom. A kingdom that had been relatively easy to manipulate, to mold into something desirable, useful even. When Serenity had fallen for the Earth's Prince, Endymion, while it had been unexpected, that and she did not necessarily like the idea of her only daughter sneaking off to do who knows what with that Prince. But at the time Serenity being distracted by the love she held for the Earth's Prince was not a concern. She had put certain measures in place to see that her beloved daughter's heart didn't end up in pieces. But overall the newfound relationship seemed like it would finally give her some level of influence or rather control over the planet. But then it had all gone to hell, and the kingdom she had strived so hard to build was destroyed, her beloved daughter killed herself, and the Earth left in a similar state of ruin had its history reset. Now the changed state of the Earth irritated Queen Serenity to no end because now it was run in separate governments, now they had more advanced technology, now it would be harder to get the control she most desperately needed over this planet. Furthermore, learning of the reincarnated Prince Endymion's unfaithfulness to her daughter infuriated her as well. Queen Serenity swore to herself that when she had more control she'd make him face consequences for breaking her precious daughter's heart. However most notable was that Serenity had changed through her time on this planet. Thousands of years ago in her previous life Serenity wouldn't have been bold enough to snap back at her like she had done the night before. Now that isn't to say it was a bad thing that Serenity had spoken to her in such a way. Or at least that's what she tried to tell herself even though she didn't believe it. She wasn't Serenity's parent anymore. But even still Serenity was still her daughter first, and children should listen to their parents right? Serenity had lived a new life here on Earth. All the Senshi had lived new lives on Earth. It was no wonder they were so relaxed. Still their blatant disregard of the rules was irritating to say the least. Not only that but it was irresponsible.

Queen Serenity bit her lip, unsure of what to do. She knew she needed to reprimand the Senshi for breaking the rules. But she knew she shouldn't be too hard on them. ̷N̷o̷ ̷t̷h̷a̷t̷ ̷w̷a̷s̷ ̷r̷i̷d̷i̷c̷u̷l̷o̷u̷s̷ ̷s̷h̷e̷ ̷h̷a̷d̷ ̷b̷e̷ ̷h̷a̷r̷d̷ ̷o̷n̷ ̷t̷h̷e̷m̷.̷ ̷R̷e̷p̷r̷i̷m̷a̷n̷d̷ ̷t̷h̷e̷m̷ ̷s̷w̷i̷f̷t̷l̷y̷ ̷a̷n̷d̷ ̷h̷a̷r̷s̷h̷l̷y̷.̷ ̷T̷h̷e̷y̷ ̷n̷e̷e̷d̷e̷d̷ ̷t̷o̷ ̷r̷e̷a̷l̷i̷z̷e̷ ̷t̷h̷e̷i̷r̷ ̷a̷c̷t̷i̷o̷n̷s̷ ̷w̷e̷r̷e̷ ̷t̷r̷u̷l̷y̷ ̷u̷n̷a̷c̷c̷e̷p̷t̷a̷b̷l̷e̷.̷ ̷T̷h̷e̷y̷ ̷n̷e̷e̷d̷e̷d̷ ̷a̷ ̷r̷e̷m̷i̷n̷d̷e̷r̷ ̷o̷f̷ ̷w̷h̷o̷ ̷w̷a̷s̷ ̷i̷n̷ ̷c̷h̷a̷r̷g̷e.̷But even then it was very likely they did not have their complete memories. She could fix that easily though, and she would correct their memories and their behavior herself. Although she didn't even know the full scope of the situation yet. She did know that Neptune, and Uranus were in a relationship she knew as Neptune had confessed to it last night. But then there was Serenity. What was her involvement in these affairs? The thought of her sweet beautiful daughter caught up in some sort of love affair made her stomach twist. Just the very idea of it was unacceptable. But it was likely especially since last night the way Serenity spoke made it sound like she was involved as well. She knew too little about this situation. So she'd wait and observe. Figure out the truth before acting. Certainly everything would turn out alright. Within time the Silver Millennium could be restored and everything would be as it should be. Serenity would be safe and sound on the Moon with her guardians at her side. Neptune and Uranus would return to their posts, and they would forget about this silly little affair they were enthralled in. Yes, that was indeed the correct path to go down, and she would make her daughter and Senshi follow that path whether they liked it or not.

"Michiru-mama! Haruka-papa!" Hotaru exclaimed, running forward, and hugging both of her adoptive parents.

Setsuna stood behind Hotaru, and looked at the group nervously.

"Well I really need to head to work. Please be careful." Setsuna spoke before quickly departing.

Usagi looked down at Hotaru, doing her best to smile at the little girl. Hotaru shouldn't have to worry about the problems they are now facing.

"So Hotaru! Is there anything you want to do?" Usagi spoke with a smile on her face, feeling fake and weak.

Hotaru looked at Usagi curiously, confused and she almost looked worried. There really was no fooling Hotaru was there?

"Uh, I think we should split up and do stuff we all like! I wanna go to the park! But I don't think everyone else does too!"

Usagi watched as Michiru laid a hand atop Hotaru's head,

"I think that's a good idea. Who would you like to go to the park with?"

Hotaru paused and a serious expression grew on her face, as if this was a very important decision that she must think very long and hard about. After a moment looked up at Michiru a smile on her face,

"Uh I wanna go with you Michiru-mama and I want Usagi to come! She's fun to play with!"

If Usagi had to gauge the reactions of everyone around her, Haruka's reaction was probably the most entertaining. Haruka in a almost offended tone of voice looked at Hotaru and asked,

"You don't want me to come?"

Hotaru merely looked at Haruka and spoke,

"But Haruka-papa, you don't like the playground."

Usagi heard a few giggles coming from her friends, and Usagi would admit the exchange had been rather funny.

"Alright then, I think that's fine. What do you say, Usagi?"

Usagi smiled,

"I'm fine with that."

Michiru sat on a bench by the playground, and watched Hotaru play on the playground enthusiastically. It was quiet and Usagi sat next to her head down not saying a word. Michiru quietly glanced at her blonde haired girlfriend and her eyebrows furrowed with worry. Usagi was never usually this quiet. Her beloved Princess usually always had something to say.

"Usagi. Are you doing alright, darling?" Michiru spoke, looking at Usagi with soft, loving eyes.

Usagi turned and looked at Michiru, a sad expression on her face, and Michiru wished for nothing more than to make that frown disappear.

"Oh, it's just after last night everything has been so awful. I'm worried that things will change."

Michiru smiled at Usagi and placed her hand on her cheek gently caressing it with her thumb.

"Oh darling it's okay. Nothing is going to change. We won't let that happen alright?" Michiru spoke, as she continued to lovingly caress Usagi's cheek.

Usagi's face flushed red as a response to Michiru's actions but she still looked at Michiru with sad eyes,

"Are you sure?"

Michiru merely smiled as she leaned closer to Usagi,

"Of course darling, nothing could ever keep you away from us, and that goes for all of us."

Michiru, a smile on her face leaned even closer to Usagi with the intent to kiss her. So she was slightly surprised when Usagi leaned forward as well, closing the distance between them.

Michiru kissed Usagi passionately and lovingly, as she took in the feeling of Usagi's soft lips against hers. Michiru still continued to caress Usagi's cheek as she deepened the kiss intent on conveying how much she loved her Princess.

Yes, Michiru was sure everything would be alright.

Queen Serenity was appalled, the sight she had just seen was completely and utterly unacceptable. Part of her could not believe the sight she just witnessed. Queen Serenity felt something akin to fury build up within her stomach. How dare she? Neptune? How dare she even think of touching her beloved daughter like that? To stroke her cheek in such a way, and to kiss her so passionately and lovingly. How dare she? She should no better having a relationship with Uranus is bad enough but to also have one with her daughter?! Her beautiful precious daughter?! Worse Serenity clearly reciprocated these feelings as she could tell from the way Serenity had eagerly returned Neptune's kiss. This situation was far worse than she thought, she'd be sure nothing like this ever happened again. She'd make sure both Neptune and Serenity would be disciplined properly for this behavior. If Serenity wanted love she could find it elsewhere without breaking the rules.

_

When Usagi got home she saw the Queen sitting in her living room and she froze. Why was she here?

"Oh Usagi? You're home. You remember Miss Serenity right?" Her mother spoke with a smile on her face, as she gestured to where the Queen sat on the couch.

Usagi's throat felt dry, what was she supposed to say? Unable to form words, Usagi nodded at her mother, a strained smile plastered on her face.

"Well Miss Serenity will be staying with us for some time. So I expect you to be respectful."

At these words Usagi's world came crashing down. Why? Why did this have to happen? Why did the Queen have to stay with them? The room was quiet and Usagi found she could not say anything; she only stared at the Queen, whose cold gaze was locked on her.

Usagi really hoped the Queen would not be around too long.
