Chapter 7: comatose.

Will Jason wake up from his coma or will he succumb to his injury? Will Shaya be able to talk Bruce into letting Jason live at the Wayne mansion once again or will her efforts be in vain. When I woke up I heard a sound that worried me I heart a flat beep and I immediately rushed to the room that Jason was in and saw that the heart monitor had flat lined I screamed so loud that I probably woke the dead and watch Bruce and Alfred burst through the door and they immediately started CPR and used defibulators to try to bring him back and finally his heart started and I was shaking so badly knowing that I almost lost my fiancé once again. I broke down and ran back into my room thinking that I wouldn't know what I would've done if I lost Jason once again.
When I looked at the clock again I saw that it was 3:45 in the morning and it was a Sunday and that not many crimes occur on Sundays so I was hoping to be able to sleep in. When I fell asleep again I had a horrible nightmare that brought me back to the night that Jason was killed I felt the fear all over again and I was absolutely terrified and thought that it was happening all over again. I woke up screaming so loudly that Bruce came in looking like someone had lit a fire under his ass which if I were not so scared I would've laughed. After I had calmed down enough to try to fall back asleep Bruce left the room. I laid there awake thinking about everything I had been through and tried not to let my mind wander too much.
When I finally looked back at the clock it was only 4:30 and I turned on the TV hoping it would soothe my frayed nerves which surprisingly helped a lot. When I finally drifted back off to I didn't have any form of nightmare I just slept like a freaking rock. When I woke up and looked at my clock it was 3:45 in the afternoon! I couldn't believe that I had slept the whole freaking morning! I hurriedly got ready and raced down the stairs thinking that Bruce would probably need my help working in the lair. When I went down to the lair I realized I hadn't heard the beeping of the heart monitor in Jason's room when I had woke up which freaked me out even more than I already was especially after the nightmare I had, I spun around and bumped into JASON! I couldn't believe that he was doing better especially after the scare that happened this morning let alone up and walking around. I wanted to hug him so badly but I was terrified knowing that he could very easily kill me. He said "hi." and I said "hi, how are you feeling?" he said "like a champ." and laughed I smiled as he wrapped his arms around me and I leaned into the embrace thinking about how much I missed him. We walked down the stairs into the lair and saw Bruce standing at the monitor he didn't look at all surprised to see Jason up and about and said "hello Jason." Jason said "hello Bruce."
All of a sudden the monitor started flashing and an address popped up on the screen and Bruce looked at me and grabbed something off of the monitor bank and I realized it was my nightwing costume. I hurriedly slipped it on and raced out of the Batcave on my bike. As I raced into town Bruce radioed me and said "Shaya I have to let you know that the joker broke out of Arkham Asylum once again and we have reason to believe that he is the one that caused the alarm to be raised." I said "oh great I have to deal with this clown again?" I heard Bruce say "Jason where are you going?" and I heard Jason say "I'm going to help her out." As I neared the warehouse the address belonged to I realized that I was shaking more and more knowing that I was about to have a showdown with the Joker.
