I.

Let me tell you a story,

a story of three people

who scratched out the very meaning of destiny.

II.

They were made of:

A man with deep green eyes and freckles in clusters like the stars above,

whose love for his brother fuelled his every motive.

A man with darkness in his blood, but light in his heart,

his longing to have a normal life drove his actions.

And a man who used to be more,

old world shattered, he's left behind to answer his questions.

III.

Together they traveled the land,

fighting off evil at every turn.

Saving people.

Hunting things.

They never once asked for anything in return,

instead they turned tail and fled from the spotlight.

They found strength in each other

and although the end approached more than once for them,

they never shied away from the challenge.

IV.

Although their path was paved with good intentions,

nothing was ever as pure as it seemed.

Along the way they:

cut up the rule book,

ignored the heavenly decrees,

disobeyed direct orders,

tore up the ending,

and destroyed order in their wake.

V.

Along with their flaws they had victories,

which often overweighed the negative.

They saved the world more than once,

more than twice.

VI.

But in the end,

the real end of them,

they left behind a legacy.

They left behind freedom and choice.

They left behind the power of free will.

So this one belongs to a wonderful friend of as much as it belongs to me as we worked on it together. It was her idea originally, but since she doesn't have an account on here I'm posting it. Hope you like it.
