Chapter 10: Swear we'll stop him.

"Where'd he go?" Ky asked. He looked around.

"Ky, I believe we've just been tricked by a hologram!" Maya told him. Ky's face had an expression of "WHAT!?", with his eyebrow raised. But he quickly settled into a disappointed expression.

"Oh, well, I guess there's nothing we can do now but tell Master B. Hopefully he can come up with a plan." Ky said. "But I just wish we got all that prism kairu back..."

"Well, not all the prism kairu is lost. Remember a few days ago, when Lokar was putting his shadow kairu machine into overdrive? You came up and used the prism kairu to save the universe, Ky. So, I believe in you!" Maya affirmed. "In the end, we'll get it all back."

Ky nodded. "Thanks, My." They both headed into the X-Scaper.

At the X-Scaper, Boomer opened the door and said "What took you guys so long?"

"Well, Boom, we just lost all the prism kairu to the bad side, even though I'm not happy to admit it." Ky replied. Boomer had a concerned expression on his face.

"Just drive back home, Boomer." Maya ordered. Boomer piloted the X-Scaper off the ground, and it left for the monastery.

After quite a while of driving back home, Team Stax was finally at their destination. The X-Scaper landed, and the team got out to find Boaddai, but we're quickly surrounded by Team Tiro and Mookee.

"Hey guys! Where have you been?" Balistar asked. Team Stax didn't reply.

"Guess what? My uncle Fraysee is leaving tomorrow," Mookee said. "He told Master Connor to find a student to train in case they need backup, and they found a new student, who will arrive tomorrow!"

"Wait, my father will train someone? I've got to find out who that is!" Ky sat down to listen Mookee tell him all about it. After that, they found Master B and explained everything that had happened.

"First of all, Ky, you never leave the monastery like that. Taking a risk like this could have left you seriously hurt, and unlike the last time you escaped like this, you will not go unpunished."

"Wait, Master B, punishment? But why is that more important above Lokar's newest scheme?" Ky complained.

"Sometimes doing things you're not supposed to do won't help at all. I will talk to you about your punishment later, but for now I will call a meeting with the Redakai. Meanwhile, see if you can find more information." Master Boaddai left, leaving Team Stax alone.

"Great, now I just have to wait to get punished. I wonder how big it will be, anyway." Ky said.

"At least the Redakai will know now. Cheer up, buddy." Boomer said to Ky.

"I think he just needs some alone time. Recently, things are kind of dramatic." Maya said. "If you guys need me, find me in the library. I'll check out the books to see if I can find anything."

With that, Maya left, and Boomer and Ky looked around the room. Ky wasn't happy at all today.

"Um, I'll be in the X-Scaper." Boomer excused himself and headed to the X-Scaper.

"Oh well, just face it... it's probably not a big one! Nothing like getting banned from challenges for an eternity." Ky thought. The comment inside his head made him smile. "But as for Lokar, I swear we'll stop him...

As for an OC, next chapter, and PLEASE, even if you're not going to read that chap, go and check out the author's note at the bottom of that chapter.
