Chapter 10: The Horizon Holds Hope... And Suspense.
A/N: I am so glad! THIS IS IT WE HAVE FINALLY REACHED IT. Thank you all for reading and reviewing! All the fanfics I have done have NEVER gone this far. I usually start projects but I never finish them, HOWEVER, A War for Prism Kairu is the exception... I'm grateful

As Maya looked at the window, she noticed the monastery getting smaller... and smaller... and she almost couldn't see anyone. And she wasn't going to come back for who knows how long?
This made her eyes watery. "Oh well, at least we will come back... I hope. And it will be even better if we come back and it's afternoon and you can see the sun on the horizon.. and everyone will be waving hello!". Maya looked away. A tear fell from her face, but she wiped it off.
"Guys, we're picking up the Prism Kairu, but it's not on the map!" Boomer shouted. Maya was confused. "Coming, Boomer!" Maya shouted from her room.
"Good thing you came, Maya. We need to figure this out." Boomer said. He put a finger on the map.
"Where would the Prism Kairu most likely be?" Boomer asked. Maya thought for a moment.
"We went last time to where the Prism Kairu was when it got stolen, right?" Boomer nodded. "And when Ky went there, he said he was following the aurora borealis [A/N: see footnote A]. So I think you should search for an aurora borealis, and see if you can find any of the Radikor E-Teens." Maya said.
"Thanks, Maya." Boomer piloted the ship the other way. "You're welcome." Maya then went to Ky's room, to see what he was doing. She knocked on the door.
"Dad, what's going on in there?" Ky asked. He was talking to his father through his X-Com.
"There's training going on, and Mookee said he was going to do the dinner. Mookee is quite a hilarious fellow." His father chuckled. "What's going on over where you are?"
"Hold on a sec. Maya's knocking on my door." "Ok." Ky turned off his X-Com and opened the door.
"Yes, My?" Ky asked. "Ky, just wanted to let you know Boomer's piloting the X-Scaper to follow the aurora borealis and see if we can find the Radikor somewhere along there."
"Thanks for letting me know, My." "You're welcome." Ky closed the door, and turned on his X-Com.
"Dad, we're following the auroras in the sky and we're trying to find the Radikor." Ky said.
"Ok, then. Good luck, Ky." His dad cut off the conversation, turning off Ky's X-Com.
It was night, and they had followed the auroras in the northern part of the Earth, but the Radikor were nowhere to be found.
"Guys, we're running low on fuel, so I'm going to have to land in Greenland." Boomer announced. Ky nodded. "Do what you need to do, Boom."
The X-Scaper hovered low over a part of ground that was not covered in ice, and landed.
"Ok guys, time to eat dinner or sleep. Which one?" Maya asked.
"Dinner." Boomer chose. "Sleep." Ky chose. "I choose both. Let's have a rock, paper and scissors challenge." They all put their hands in fists. "Rock, paper, scissors!" Maya chose scissors, Boomer rock and Ky paper.
"Scissors can cut paper but rocks can destroy scissors. Boomer wins." "Yes!" Boomer cheered, pumping his fist in excitement. Maya and Ky laughed. (sorry if this is not accurate, or incorrect.)
As Team Stax ate the food they packed for dinner, Ky heard someone tapping their foot on the X-Scaper. "Guys, did you hear that?" Ky said. Maya and Boomer shook their heads. "Nope. You must be hallucinating or something." Boomer said. But as they resumed eating, a loud creak tilted the X-Scaper to the side. "Woah! Something's going on!" Maya said. Ky stood up.
"Let's check it out." They all got up, and Boomer used the controls to open the door. Then they all went down the stairs. "I don't see anything." Maya said, looking around. Then Boomer spotted something. "Wait, what's that?" He pointed to someone standing in the ice. The person had a black aura. Suddenly the person teleported over to where Team Stax was. Team Stax gasped. "It's, it's... Z!" The person covered Maya's mouth.

[A] Ky said in S2 E25 that he was following the aurora. He didn't specify the northern or southern aurora, but since Boomer has an attack named "Borealis Blast" I figured it was the aurora borealis, or northern light. I then searched up a website to see what it could tell me about it (we need resources you know) and it said: The aurora borealis happens over northern Scandinavia, the southern tip of Greenland and continuing over northern Canada, Alaska and along the northern coast of Siberia. I was originally going to put that, but it was too long so instead I had Maya say " And when Ky went there, he said he was following the aurora borealis." because I didn't wanna drown you guys with description!
So um, now I did it! Phew. The teachers drowned me with packets of Spring Break homework so I'll try to get that done today so I can write more stories! Yay! See you guys soon with chapter 11!
