Chapter 10: What do we know about it?
Team Stax entered the X-Scaper, despite the scratches it got. They sat back to finish dinner.
As everyone ate, there was a feeling of gloom and no one spoke much. But everyone was thinking about something in their minds.
After dinner, they pushed their plates to one side of the table. Maya and Boomer were about to leave when Ky said: "Hold up, we need to talk." Boomer got back in his chair.
Maya pushed her chair closer to the table and sat down. "Ky, are you mad at us?"
"No, it's just that we need to talk about this new black kairu." Boomer nodded. "Ok, so start off."
"Well, we've been dealing with this new kairu, and it makes the Radikor very powerful. We haven't beat them once. Zair and Zane pawned us in battle, and Techris escaped with most of the prism kairu without us being able to stop him."
"Wait, Ky..." Maya said, putting her hand over Ky's arm. "Huh?"
"I think I've realized something. Remember when we battled Zair?" Ky nodded. "Well, Zair used an attack that wasn't in her X-Reader. That attack was Lokar's Rage."
"So that's evidence number one." Boomer said. Maya nodded. She continued: "She also had a black aura, as well as Zane. I think if they have it, Techris should have it, too, though we haven't seen him yet because he fooled us with a decoy. What other weird things can that kairu do?" Maya asked.
"Well, Zane was able to teleport and attack us with it. And this isn't something it can do, but when I went to Lokar's lair, there was black kairu in a container." Ky said. Boomer stood up, putting his hand on the table. "That means that Lokar made this kairu! And he must BE that kairu!" Maya and Ky said "Huh?" in unison.
"What do you mean my grandfather is the black kairu?" Maya asked. "Well, if Zair didn't have that X-Drive, if they got special powers from the kairu, if that kairu was first introduced in Lokar's Lair, and if they're about as strong as Lokar himself since we can't beat them yet, then it's all linked to Lokar!" Boomer reasoned. "Hey buddy, you're right!" Ky said.
"So this black kairu is Lokar himself. Can anybody name it, though?"
"I've got a name, My. How about the manipulation kairu? I mean, Lokar is obviously controlling them with those auras." Ky said. Maya nodded. "I'm so glad Lokar is still alive, even though he's evil. Maybe if we defeat an E-Teen, we can hold him and try to drain the manipulation kairu from it. Or we can use Prism Kairu and hope that works, since Ky actually has some Prism Kairu in Platinum Metanoid." Maya said. Ky sighed.
"Well, Boaddai actually forbid me to use Platinum Metanoid or any variation of Metanoid." Maya gasped. "Oh, that's not good." Boomer smiled. "Chill out, My," He put a hand in her shoulder. "we can still try and grab any Prism Kairu that the Radikor have."
"But with their level of strength, it's going to be hard to get what we need from them. They seem to need the Prism Kairu for something." Ky said. "So, Ky, is our meeting over?" Boomer asked. "Yeah, it's over." Ky said. They all went to their bedrooms to sleep.
(line break)
"So, Lokar, what will we do with all this Prism Kairu?" Zair asked Lokar outloud. Lokar heard her from her mind.
"We turn it into Shadow Kairu, simple as that." Lokar answered her in her head. Zane could hear the conversation as well. "But Master, there's so much Prism Kairu. How will we ever turn it all into Shadow Kairu?"
"You are right. Although I appreciate having a lot of Prism Kairu to turn into Shadow Kairu, it was unnecesary for Techris to bring it all." Lokar answered. Zair and Zane looked at Techris. Techris shrugged.
"What? I was only trying to get what I thought would be neccesary." He explained. Zair sighed and shook her head. "You aren't adapting well to these changes, aren't you?"
"Well, to be honest, no." He admitted. Zair and Zane looked down, disappointed. It was quiet.
And then Zane facepalmed himself.
A/N: It was going to end this chapter in a much darker way but I wanted to leave this chapter at a lighter note. Hehe, Techris, you're silly.
