Since I've been an asshole, I thought I should just get on up and write another one shot. Reds. Enjoy
Disclaimer: I don't own the Powerpuff Girls. Just a girl with an unhealthy obsession.
"So, let me get this straight."
Brick rolled his eyes for the umpteenth time since engaging in this conversation with his girlfriend. Blossom just pretended not to notice.
"You actually remembered my birthday... and got me a gift?"
Brick sighed
"Why is that so hard to believe?" He asked.
"Why wouldn't it be hard to believe?" She scoffed sarcastically.
"Because, you're my girlfriend. It kind off hurts my feelings that you don't think I remembered your birthday. I mean, it was the day your beautiful soul was brought into the world."
Her face softened. His stretched into a smirk.
She was always a sucker for feelings nonsense.
Don't get me wrong, Brick loves Blossom, he's just not one of the most sentimental guys in the world. If he starts sprouting his emotions he's either trying to get something or really really likes someone.
He really likes Blossom but right now, he wanted her to just calm down, open the box that he spent almost an hour and a half trying to wrap to perfection, and kiss him senselessly. That was all he wanted. Some love. But noo, Blossom needs two hours to wrap her head around that simple chain of events that was bound to happen anyway.
GREAT.
"I'm sorry, it's just- I don't know...weird." She said with an amused smile on her face.
"Excuse me?"
"Oh, calm down." She looked down to the box in her arms ," Where did you find the money to buy me a gift anyway?"
"You sound so ungrateful right now."
Blossom gasped.
"I'm sure whatever's in here is something I'll love, it's just-"
"JUST WHAT?" He cut her off. Yup, Brick had cracked , "I got a job at the mall and helped your father around the house for hours to find money for that gift and you won't even open it!"
Blossom stared at Brick before looking at the box again. The she, finally, opened it.
It was a copy of Henry and June signed by Blossom's all time favorite author, Anais Nin.
Then she looked up at the pointed look on her boyfriends face.
She then grabbed that face and kissed it.
"I like the part where she broke his spirit." Butch said, looking back out the window at the two redheads.
"Yeah, when he just yells and you can see that she had broken him from the inside." Buttercup replied, shoving her hand into the bucket of popcorn that sat between them.
"Oh well. Let's find some entertainment elsewhere, sweetheart." Butch said, getting up dramatically and holding out his arm for Buttercup to grab.
"With pleasure, Honeybunny." She says after grabbing his arm.
"Honeybunny?"
"It was the first thing that came to mind."
Lol, this one had humor to it. Reviews are my life source. Buhbye!
