Chapter 19: Chemical Mania Part 2

The fandom seems kinda inactive. Where did everybody go?

Ky, Maya and Boomer were running across the room with the conveyor belts. They came upon a big door. Ky stopped, trying to catch his breath. He grabbed the handle, leaning against the door. Maya and Boomer stopped behind him.

Ky opened the door. There were four figures inside, looking at them.

"Definitely the Radikor." Boomer said.

"And it's definitely Team Stax." Zane replied, standing on the light where he could be seen. "Kairu CHALLENGE!" Zane smirked, looking like he was thinking.

Maya looked at Ky. "Ky, don't fight him. I have a feeling he's planning something."

Ky looked back at Maya. "If he is, then we can shut his plan down... hopefully." Ky looked at Zane. "Challenge Accepted."

"BRUTERON!" Zane shouted. He absorbed his monsters energy and landed.

"GRAPPLER!" Zair shouted. She absorbed her monsters energy and landed as well.

Silv looked at Zane. "I prefer to pass."

Techris took out his X-Reader, ready to stack up, but Zair gave him a glance that said. "Stop that."

Techris nodded. He crossed his arms, still holding his X-Reader.

Ky looked around. The Radikor looked menacingly at him, their eyes fixed on him, Boomer, and Maya, as if scheming.

"I'm not thanking them if they pull any surprise on me..." Ky thought.

Ky quickly sprung to action. He ran up, jumping forward quickly like a blur. "METANOID!" He fused into Metanoid, landing on the ground.

"Plasma Hammer!" He swung the attack in front of Techris, hoping it would hit him.

Wrong.

As it sped up, Techris suddenly disappeared. The attack had missed, and everyone heard a BOOM as the hammer collided against the wall, turning into nothing.

"Please don't tell me he's messing around with his aura thingy again." Maya said. She felt tense- in fact, Team Stax was feeling extremely tense. A surprise attack was probably coming.

"Well, My, that's why you're there to stop him." Metanoid said, encouraging Maya. Maya smiled, knowing what he had meant.

She jumped up, leaning backwards to make a flip. "HARRIER!" Maya fused into Harrier, completing her air flip and hovering from the ground.

"I'm following your tail, My." Boomer ran up, then jumped forward. "FROZTOK!" Boomer fused into Froztok, landing on the ground. "BLIZZARD AXES!" He swung the attack towards Silv, who looked at the attack without fear.

"LIGHTING TRASH!" Silv called out. She raised her hands, lightning shooting wildy out of her palms. It quickly sped up and countered Blizzard Axes, making blinding light appear. Everyone shielded their eyes-

- and another BOOM was heard.

The force of the collision moved Froztok and Silv, sliding them across the floor. Zair looked at Silv. "You ok?" Zair asked. Silv grabbed her arm, but nodded.

Zair then looked at Zane. "Distract them." Zair mouthed. Zane nodded, and turned to face Ky. He gave him a mocking look.

"So, Ky, you've got any attacks better than that? For sure you do, since I'm about to unleash ANTI-MATTER SAW!" Zane grabbed the saws that were formed and throwed them at Metanoid.

Metanoid ducked as the saw slashed across the room, moving wildly. It collided with another wall and made a small explosion.

"Make sure to not use low- grade attacks next time, 'kay Zane?" Metanoid said as a comeback.

Some black smoke on the other side of the room appeared, spreading like a cloud. In it was a shape- a person, to be exact- that only the E-Teens could see.

Team Stax turned around to focus on the strange smoke. The E-Teens simply smiled. Zair looked at the person that she could see in the smoke and winked at him. The person winked back.

"Make sure to not focus your attention on me. Rather, focus your attention on THIS!" The figure in the smoke revealed itself as Techris, but he didn't stand there alone for quite long. His aura spread across the room, revealing 30 other Techris's alongside him.

"You know, I like to troll you like this, Team Stax. I've gotta give Lokar the credit." The figure who was the real Techris that stood in the middle of the clones disappeared.

"Aww man, now we're gonna have real trouble." Froztok said, moaning.

The clones suddenly moved. "GUT BUSTER!" echoed across the room, the attack appearing in each clone's hands. Ky's eyes widened with fear. He knew his teammates felt the same.

The attack was launched by every clone- it zoomed towards Team Stax.

"MAYA, BOOM, WATCH OUT!" Metanoid shouted. He tried to stand in front of them, but Harrier shoved him and Froztok.

Time seemed to go slower now. "MAYA!" Metanoid shouted. "NOOOOOOOO!"

Gut Buster was about to hit Harrier before everything went white. The last thing Ky could do was shield his eyes.

Something got dark around the white. It was Harrier's skeleton. It could be seen clearly. It meant the attack had passed her own bones, and hurt her badly...

The white light passed away. Froztok had forgotten to shield his eyes and was blind, unable to move. Metanoid stopped shielding his eyes and looked at Harrier.

Harrier was laying on the ground. The monster turned into green energy, transforming back into Maya. And Maya... well, she had the biggest bruise on her side. Blood was slowly creaping out.

"How can I continue when Maya's literally BLEEDING?! And Boomer is basically able to do nothing." Metanoid thought.

Metanoid turned to face the E-Teens. "I forfeit. I forfeit the challenge."

The E-Teens laughed, celebrating their victory. Metanoid and Froztok transformed back to Ky and Boomer, trying to not mind the E-Teens. Ky picked Maya up, holding her unconcious. He looked at Boomer, who just sighed. They went down the steps, and left the building.

Zair's X-Reader had drained the last bits of kairu that were left in the relic when Lokar suddenly appeared in a hologram form. He looked at his E-Teens proudly.

"Well done... the next step is to find a way to get all the Shadow Kairu we have and block the Sun with it... which will be a crucial step in our plans."

"Wait, I know I haven't asked this before, but why the Sun?" Silv asked.

"You, as a human, should know that every living, breathing, being in this planet, relies on the Sun's energy. And as you also must know, the reason that creatures called "dinosaurs" were killed off was because of a fog that blocked the sun, making plants die. This affected those who ate the plants, as well as those who ate those who ate the plants, making them die off. But the Shadow Kairu is different.. combined with the Manipulation Kairu, we'll be able to control all living beings and finally get rid of Team Stax! Then, we will rule the whole universe with the Shadow Kairu- infested Earth!"

"Nice plan... but-" Techris started to say this but got glares from his teammates. Techris scratched his head in apology.

"Techris! As far as I know, the key to transporting the Shadow Kairu to the Sun is by acquiring a monster that has the ability to, when infused by Shadow, travel through space in light speed without the user needing to breathe. I believe a certain warrior has this X-Drive... Connor Stax."

"So you want me to retrieve it?" Techris asked.

Lokar glared at him. "Is that not obvious? GO GET IT!" He shouted.

Techris immediately teleported out of the building, landing on a metal surface angled downwards. He slid off of it, then pondered. "Where should I start..."
