Chapter 21: Techris Dies
I was gone, it was tough recently and I also became somewhat lazy/ hesitant but.. guess what happened. I GOT 22 X-DRIVES FROM WALMART!

Zane was standing in the base's empty metal rooms, looking at the X-Reader he had in his hand. The room had a hole as an entrance. He swiped through the X-Drives, looking.
"Ah, there it is." He stopped and looked at Wyndron. He put the X-Reader in his belt.
"WYNDRON!" He called out. He transformed into Wyndron, a big blue monster with a green eye. The monster had claws for hands and flew, having no legs but a long, blue tail instead. It was made entirely of wind (except for the eye, it was energy).
"Woah... since when did they give a monster so powerful to a newbie? They should have put it to good use and given it to me instead." Wyndron said. It closed it's green eye.
"Now for the shadow kairu... ZAIR!" Zair immediately entered the room.
"Here you go Zane."
She drained shadow kairu from her X-Reader into Wyndron. Wyndron sucked in the shadow energy, glowing purple and black, the energy penetrating into the monsters eye to change it's color to black. Wyndron growled fiercely.
The body of the monster turned deep purple as it tinted gradually, the shadow kairu cycling around Wyndron. It died down and Wyndron was fully infested with the shadow kairu.
"I CAN FEEL THE POWER!" Zane shouted at the top of his lungs in a maniacal voice.
"Oh boy, he's getting loco again!" Zair thought.
Wyndron looked up. He raised a hand. "DEGENERATION!" It cracked the metal and opened up another hole.
Zair threw her X-Reader to Wyndron. Zane catched it. "I'm off."
The monster flew up and out the hole.
It traveled quickly, darting through the sky. Everything standing in Wyndron's way was thrown by the powerful force of it flying in fast speed. It was heading towards the Sun... and when it reached it the results would be devastating.
Team Stax was back home. They had not left the X-Scaper because when they landed, Gia had gotten in, explaining the emergency. Team Stax was listening.
"Team Stax! We're counting on you, please!" Gia pleaded to Team Stax for help.
Ky was concerned. "Where's Marina?"
"Techris took her, so we don't know! That's why we came to you!" Gia responded.
Ky closed his eyes for a moment, thinking. "This was the last thing we needed! The odds are stacked against us." He finally opened his eyes again.
"We can't do this by ourselves anymore. Gia, tell Master B and my dad that they HAVE to come with us, as well as Ekayon. And we might also need you and your teammates, Gia." Ky said.
"But what's your plan?" Gia asked, raising her eyebrow.
"I think it's time to strike back with a full invasion." Ky said with a determined look.
"Invasion?" Boomer asked. "Where did you-"
"We HAVE to get to their base!" Ky said making a fist. "From there we can save Marina AND take the opportunity to-"
"Yeah, we know. Strike back." Maya said, looking at Ky.
"So what are we waiting for! Gia, go get your team, Connor, and Master B. Don't forget about Ekayon!" Boomer said.
Gia gave them a trusting smile, and then looked at the door. She sprinted towards it and left. Boomer walked up to the controls and started up the X-Scaper.
"So Zane's way up there?" Silv asked Zair. Zair held her X-Reader, where she had a map showing where Zane was in the sky.
"Yeah, didn't I tell you I made this map myself before he left?" Zair responded, looking at Silv. Techris took the X-Reader out of her hands.
"Look Zair." He pointed to the X-Reader. "Seems like Zane is already heading into space."
"And-"
A metal wall creaked and emitted gas. Silv got closer, and touched the wall. "Strange!"
"Wait..." Zair walked towards the wall and put her ear against it.
"I don't hear anything-" The wall creaked, getting weak and-
BOOM! Zair and Silv were blasted off to the other side of the room. A big hole was made into the wall, three figures standing in front of it.
"Tell us where Marina is, now!" Maya shouted.
"Thunder Clap!" Techris shouted, attacking Maya. Maya dodged. She landed behind Ky.
"Here's a response to that! PLASMA CLAW!" Ky leaped into the air. He made his hand into a claw. With a big swinging motion he released the attack; it crashed into Techris. Techris's body hit the wall hard, and he slid into the floor.
Zair got up with blurry vision, but made out Ky and his friends. "SMOKE SCREEN!" She shouted, aiming at Ky. The smoke spread through the room.
Team Stax backed up until they were cornered by the smoke. Boomer, however, raised his hands. He would not give up.
"BOREALIS BLAST!" He shouted. Boomer's attack collided with the smoke. The smoke disappeared and the room cleared up.
Silv stood up painfully. She looked at Team Stax and smirked. "LIGHTNING TRASH!" Lightning shot from her hands. Boomer and Maya were hit, having no space to dodge. They slid on the floor and were pounded against the wall on the corner.
Ky was lucky to not get hit. He whistled, looking at the direction of the hole. A figure got in thorugh the hole and removed their hood. It was Ekayon, and he glared at Silv and Zair.
"E-E-Ekayon..." Zair slowly backed behind Silv, looking at Ekayon with frightened eyes.
Five more figures came in: Boaddai, Connor, Gia, Apex, and Balistar. Everyone except Silv and Zair took out their X-Readers and pointed them at the defenseless girls.
"Put your hands up, you're ARRESTED!" The good guys all said in unison.
"But... you're not police officers." Silv said. She and Zair put up their hands anyway, reluctantly looking at them.
"But we can still put you on trial for serving Lokar!" Maya said, stepping forward with her X-Reader still pointed.
"Now tell us where Marina is!" Ky said. Everyone else nodded.
Zair looked at Ky. "I honestly don't know." Silv shook her head. "Me neither."
The brutally-knocked-out Techris moved a little bit, moaning in pain. Everyone looked at him.
"Wha-?" Boomer was about to say something, but Techris looked up to everyone in the room. He then sat up. Everyone was watching him as he struggled to stand up, slipping abit in the proccess. He was half way up when he leaned against the wall for support.
"If you want to know where she is... there's hidden rooms, that have no doors, and can only be opened by burning the outside off. She is... ARGGGH!" He grabbed his wrist in pain and he fell down again.
Zair let her hands down and ran to him. "TECHRIS!" She shouted. "WHAT'S WRONG?!" She helped him off the floor. When Techris got up, he leaned against Zair, almost making her fall.
In alarm, everyone stopped what they were doing and got closer to him. Boomer immediately held him up, using his strength. "Woah, big dude, tell us what's wrong!" Boomer said.
Techris looked at him. "...fine." He reached for his robot-like gloves and took them off. He revealed his wrists to everyone... and when everyone saw, they gasped.
His wrists were bleeding, deep red covering his grey skin. Two small holes had been made on each of his wrists, and suspiciously, they also had the mark of the dark master in his wrists, although they were covered partly by the blood.
Techris, despite the pain, slightly grinned. "It was your sweet little Marina that did this to me. She thought it was right."
Maya's eyes widened. She used her jacket to clean off the blood and stained it, but revealed the marks. "What... you're related to me?!"
Techris slightly nodded. "Lokar has alien roots as well, notice his grey skin? I just covered these all the time." He moaned again in pain.
Gia slowly covered her mouth with her hands, shedding a tear in the proccess. "His blood is getting all over Maya's jacket..."
"GUYS!" Marina sprinted to Ky, hugged him, and hugged Connor as well, but quickly shoved Zair aside and held Techris.
"I'm sorry..." She lifted up his chin and kissed him. Everyone was in even MORE SHOCK.
"No big deal..." He answered to her, before looking at Ky. "She also stabbed me in the heart." Everyone gasped even louder.
Marina looked down. "He's right..." She looked to the side. "No one's gonna like me anymore." She shed a tear. "Please...GET RID OF ME!" She shouted. She hugged Techris closely, shaking him. "I'LL PASS AWAY WITH YOU IF I HAVE TO!" She started crying.
Techris kissed her in the cheek. "If you wish." His vision blackened, and he could no longer see. "I think I'm dying already... and I never even shed a tear. Oh well." Techris thought.
"Sayounara, failure! Failure of Team Radikor." Lokar said in his mind.
"Failure? Please." Techris managed to softly touch Marina's hair and ruffle it. "She's all I need."
Techris and Marina collapsed together, and Marina's stream-of-tears ended.
Everyone looked in shock. No one said nothing.
"Rest in peace." Master Boaddai said.
Zair sobbed a little. "When Zane finds out, he's gonna be upset..."
Master Connor looked at Marina, then at Techris. "Those two had a very short life..."
Everyone felt unified for a second. The babbering fool that was Lokar silenced himself.
Lokar didn't belong in these sorts of matters.
Zane stared at the ghastly emptiness in space, but focused his attention on the Sun. The Sun didn't damage his eyes. He looked at it directly, then smirked. "Evil for the win!"
He drained the Shadow Kairu as Wyndron from his X-Reader to the Sun. The Sun, as it absorbed energy, turned black and purple. It's light got dimmer. Multiple energy beams shot towards the Earth with force, and the Earth suddenly glowed black and purple. "Excellent..."

I didn't wanna murder my OC but I thought it was only fair since she had to pay. Ever heard of Karma? That concept likely exists in Redakai. You know, energy and stuff.
The delay, doesn't matter. For all those fans of Techris (nearly whole fandom) I'm sorry.
Marina in an effort to escape stabbed Techris three times (you know where) with her Inner Kairu to escape and forced him to let her go. She also told him to tell no one, but prevented him from fainting/ dying with her Inner Kairu. She did this because she didn't want him to die. During the explosion, her power was not strong enough to resist it and eventually lost her powers on him, allowing him to bleed.
To all those who have lost people in their lives, I'm sorry if this offends you. I tried to write it to the best of my abilities since I have not experienced anyone die, but felt very sad when one of my relatives died (great grandmom). I heard of this when I was little, and it made me very sad. Quite a few people from my family have also been killed off, one of them being poisoned.

Also, the Shadow Kairu wil be released. Can the good guys (and Zair and Silv) help them to defeat this ever-more-powerful force? And will they be able to face... ZOMBIES?!
