Author's note : GUYS IM SOOOOO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE, I've been busy with Summer School, and family and friend drama (that never gets old!) But I promise I'll update sooner, and I feel like I'm losing my readers is it because of the late updates or what? I don't know how long this story will be. But if I can't update don't GIVE UP ON THIS STORY PLEASE. Unfourtnatley there isn't any Spoby in this chapter, but they will be more in the next chapter I promise!

Chapter Six

Caleb, Spencer, Toby, Emily and Aria sat in the waiting room, for the doctor to tell what Hanna's condition was. Caleb paced around the room was he really gonna lose his girlfriend? Had they really had there last conversation? Last kiss? Hug? He can't imagine adjusting his life without his best friend.

Doctor Johnson walked out of Hanna's room with a 'not so good look' on his face. "I'm afraid we have some good and bad news. Your friend Ms. Marin is fine; we got the bullet out of her leg as well as her head. But the trauma of the bullet to her head caused her to have long term memory loss, so she doesn't remember a lot of things." He explained.

"So she doesn't remember any of us?" Aria asked.

"I'm afraid not, she only remembers basic things like her birthday, her name, her mom and dad." He said.

"Will she be okay?" Caleb asked.

"She's alright, still unconscious." Doctor Johnson replied

"Can we go and see her?" Spencer asked.

"No, not for a while. It's up to Hanna to wake up."

"Thanks for the information." Emily said. The doctor had walked away.

It's been 3 hours since they took Hanna to the hospital. They all waited anxiously . He still had no update on Hanna's condition, and Caleb was getting worried. Just as he spoke Doctor Johnson came out, with some news about Hanna's condition.

"She's awake you may go and see her."

"Thank you." Caleb replied, as got up and walked into the hospital bed and saw Hanna, relieved that his girlfriend was okay, Caleb walked up and sat on the edge of the bed.

"I thought I was going to lose my best-friend." He said as he cleaned his eyes and smirked.

"Who are you?" Hanna asked.

"I'm your boyfriend Caleb." He told her softly.

"I don't have a boyfriend if I did I'd remember." She replied.

"How are you feeling?" Caleb asked.

"Feeling for what my bullet in my leg and head, or that the fact my best friend and I got in to a fight less than 3 hours ago." She said sullenly.

The rest of the girls came in to check on Hanna.

"Caleb was it? Who are these girls I don't them." She whispered to him.

"You do know them Han, they're your best friends since middle school."

"I'm sorry I don't remember you guys."

"It's okay." They said.

The girls sat in the rear window brew, discussing what happened to Hanna.

"I can't believe she forgot who we were." Emily said sipping her coffee.

"I know but was the bullet wound to deep to cause her amnesia?" Spencer asked; wondering if something so small can cause such a huge impact.

"I don't know, but I hope this amnesia is temporary, so our lives can get back to the way they were." Aria said.

"Let's talk about something else; Spence how are things with your new boyfriend Toby and you?"

She smiled and said "We're good."

"Aw, the birth of Spoby." Aria squealed.

They all gave her a look.

"What I just borrowed the line from Hanna."

Aria felt a vibration in her pocket, she pulled out her iPhone and read the message. The person hadn't messaged her ever since they went their separate ways two years ago, she will admit she loved this person, but since being with Jake for a year now, she doesn't feel the same way. But maybe after she sees him. Those feelings will flow right back?

"Guys, I have to go. But if you hear anything about Hanna let me know, Okay?" She said grabbing her bag and leaving.

Caleb still sat in Hanna's hospital bed reading Sports Illustrated. Even though she didn't say leave he knew she was implying it, and now knowing that his girlfriend doesn't remember who he is, or anything about their relationship, he knew he wasn't gonna give up on winning her back, even if it means extreme measures.

"Hey your awake." He told her softly.

"Why are you still here? I'm sorry but I don't know you, and your creeping me out. Your like a old shade of lipstick that won't leave. I'm sorry I didn't want to sound rude." She said weakly.

"You have no idea who I am do you?," He said getting up. "No, its okay I'll leave." He said walking up to the door.

"Caleb, wait! When you get out there can you ask my mom to come in?" She replied; but that definitely was not the answer he was expecting.

"Sure." He walked out and saw Ms. Marin. "Hey Ashley, Hanna wanted my to tell you that she wanted to see you."

"Okay, Thanks Caleb, and it's that bad huh?"

"Yup, she doesn't remember anything about the girls or our relationship."

"It's gonna get better I promise." She soothingly said rubbing his back.

"I hope you're right." He replied.

Aria finally reached her destination. She knocked on his door.

"Hey, I got your text. What is it that you need?" She asked bitterly.

"Well Hi too you too sunshine! Come in."

"Don't play with me Ezra okay. I had enough of that for two years of your relationship, I definitely don't need that now. You haven't texted me for two years and suddenly you do regarding your family dinner? And what does that have anything to do with me? You know were not boyfriend/ girlfriend anymore you just can't message me out of the blue." She explained to him sourly.

"Whoa, Aria I just thought that you could pretend to be my fiancée for one night so my parents get off my back for once. They knew about your breakup but I kinda well told them we got back together and that were engaged. So they're flying down from Philadelphia to see this. So what do you say Aria?" He asked her.

"No way Ezra, their's no way in hell that I'd pretend to be your fake fiancé, and why would you tell them that?! What don't you get Ezra, I've moved on so why haven't you?"

"Because I still love you Aria. I always have Aria."

He was interrupted by Aria

"Ezra you can't..."

He interrupted her again "Am I crazy? Do you not feel what I have felt every day that we've been apart for the last three years? Because I have felt there is this vital piece of me that's been missing. And I tried to fill it, Aria I tried to fill it...with work and friends and music. Aria, look me in the eye & tell me that that this us did not feel exactly the same as it felt three years ago."

"I'm in love with Jake, Ezra. I'm sorry but I guess you have to find yourself another fake fiancée, because I can't do that to Jake and I won't." She grabbed her bag and left his apartment.

"Well I love you too Aria." He mumbled to himself.

Ms. Marin called Spencer, Emily & Aria regarding Hanna's condition. She thought they'd like to know since they were friends since the seventh grade. Even though Hanna didn't remember them. Ms. Marin knew they needed to know.

"Hey what happened?" Emily asked.

"She told me to call you guys."

"But I thought she couldn't remember anything?" Spencer said.

"She doesn't but she told me to tell you guys that she wanted to meet you."

They walked into her room.

"Hey Han, what is it that you want to tell us?" Emily asked.

"What? Oh, that um do you guys' know who that Caleb guy is?"

"Yeah, he's your boyfriend Hanna, he has been for a year and a half. He loves you."

"Well whatever." Hanna said shrugging it off.

"Guys, I am gonna go call back my mom, so I'd be back."

"Okay. Now who's that yum yum!" Hanna asked smirking; as Toby comforted Spencer as the bad news hit her.

"Who?" Emily asked

"The guy who's comforting Spencer or whatever her name is?"Hanna answered

"Oh, that's Toby Spencer's boyfriend."

"Well he's one hot thing!"

"Whoa, Hanna you can't like Toby that's Spencer's boyfriend! Besides you never showed an interest in him before. What happened to Caleb and you?" Sria asked.

"So? What's the matter with that it's not like I'm gonna flirt with him okay? Wait what Caleb and I aren't a thing we never were."

"Right." Emily said sarcastically.

Hanna was allowed to leave she got on her crutches and went over to Toby.

"Hey you what are you up to? By the I'm Hanna."

"Yeah I know who you are Hanna, and not much I'm just checking if Spence is okay."

"So she's not here?" She asked.

"Nope."

The girls knew what Hanna's next move was. So they quickly ran to her and pulled her back from her making a huge mistake and Spencer and Caleb resenting her.

"Hanna no!" They pulled her back.

"What the hell guys? Why'd you do that."

"We were stopping you from making a big mistake that Spencer and Caleb hating you? Is that what you want?" Emily asked

"Okay, first of all who are you to judge me, it's my life I can do I want when I want. I don't care if they end up hating me. I thought you guys were my friends! But I guess I was wrong." Hanna explained sourly; grabbing her black leather jacket and phone as she walked away.
