I'm baaaaaaack! Sorry i've been gone, i just hate high school, best four years of my life right? -_- _

Aang's POV: Aang had always loved the wilderness, he had grown up in it. Each year him and Gyatso would go up into the mountains and take a month away from city life. It was one of the best parts of his childhood. Gyatso had always been like a father to him. His real parents had passed away when he was five. Although no one, not even Sokka, knew of that personal information besides him and Gyatso. He never lied, just chose not to speak about it. Aang had learn over the years of how to grieve alone, it sounded upsetting but it was true. Why trouble two people with your problems when you're there to fend for yourself?

He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Katara's complaints as they hiked up the mountain, "Ugh i'm tired are we there yet , my mascara's dripping."

"Well then why the crap would you wear damn make up IN THE WILDERNESS?!". Katara shut up after that. Toph was getting annoyed and it was obvious. Aang placed a hand on her shoulder in an attempt to calm her down, only for her to shrug it off.

They had finally made it to the cabins. "Ok," Zuko said," Girls will be in one cabin, and guys in the other, now I should let you know that one cabin has running water while the people of the other cabin will have to bathe in the lake, so I feel that since us MEN-" But he stopped talking after he realized all the girls had run to the cabin with running water. They mutually accepted it, and went to get settled in.

It was a quaint cabin. It had two bunk beds on either side of the wall, as well as a small fireplace. There was even a small study table. He liked it, it felt just like when he was smaller. He threw his bag onto one of the beds and went out to explore. Outside, there was a small fire pit in between the two cabins, in front there was a lake that led out to the river they saw while hiking.

He looked back to the pit to find Toph with her shoes in her hands and wiggling her toes in the mud. If Katara hadn't been standing behind her she would've been going insane, judging by the smile on her face. _

Toph's POV:

"Toph I swear you better not get those clothes covered in mud!" Katara said for the millionth time.

"Yeah, yeah Sugar queen chill your hair loopies, hey, do we have any nutella?" she retorted.

Katara rolled her eyes and said"Yes you packed three jars instead of spare clothes,"

"YUSSSSSSSSS" She yelled.

No matter how annoying Katara was, she couldn't deny that she was her best friend. In fact sometimes she was more of a mother than her real one was. Both her parents had kept her shielded from the world until she was 18. She just couldn't stand them anymore and left. Simple right? She didn't even notice Twinkle Toes until she heard his cheery voice saying hello to them,

"Anyone up for a walk?" Of course Sugar Queen was the first to reply "Sorry Aang but we have to get settled-" "I'll go Twinkles" she said cutting her off. "Alright!' he said

"Fine but Toph, no mud"

"Yes MOM" said Toph.

Toph slipped her flip flops back on after cleaning her feet in the lake. They found a trail and went for a walk. After they were far away enough Aang laced his fingers with her and smiled. "You're such a dork," she stated. He laughed in response as they sat down on a log. "I thought I was an airhead?" "That too." he laughed again. Suddenly a twig snapped and Aang's eyes widened.
