So this is the last chapter :(

I don't think its that good but anyway here it is:

Chapter 9

Kim's POV:

Jack was amazing, he took the black dragon and we all cheered. We were going to win the tournament, but when Jack stood up he didn't look quite right, then he just fell to the ground, I ran over and knelt down beside him.

"Jack... Jack" I called him but he wouldn't wake up. The paramedics lifted him onto a backboard and took him to the medical room.

We were all crowded around him, waiting for him to wake up and tell us what was going on.

"Jack...Jack" I called again, when suddenly his eyes started to open.

"What Kim" He said angrily, I was a bit taken aback by the tone of his voice but I was more interested by the fact that he was awake. He said something else but I didn't hear as I leant forward and gave him the biggest hug I could manage.

"Your okay" I whispered before pulling away.

"Yeah, I suppose" Jack replied.

"I'll get the nurse, let them know your awake" Rudy said from the doorway. Rudy returned a few minutes later with a nurse.

"Hello Jack, my names Marie, I'm your nurse" She said softly before turning to face the others "May I have a word with Jack alone for a minute?"

"Yes, of course, come on guys, lets get a drink from the vending machine we can come back in a minute" Rudy said leading the way out. We all waved at Jack before we left.

Jack's POV:

"Jack" Marie said

"Yes" I replied looking down at my hands.

"What you've been doing is very dangerous" She said

"What are you talking about" I asked

"I saw the scars on your back" She replied "I recognise them, you have been hit with a horse riding whip haven't you"

I didn't reply, just continued to stare down at my hands, I felt her hand on my shoulder so I looked up and my eyes locked with hers.

"It's okay Jack, who did this?" She asked calmly.

"My d...da..." I began to cry

"It's ok, was it your dad?" She asked

"Yes" I said weakly before turning away from her.

"You've done well Jack, was that your father that was just in here?"

"No, that's Rudy, my sensei"

"Ok, and are you okay with all of your friends being here? We won't let anyone in if you don't want them here ok?"

"Thank you"

"And Jack"

"Yeah

"I'm going to help you, would you mind if I told the police what I have seen on your body and what you have told me? I promise he will never hurt you again."

"As long as he doesn't find out"

"Would you like me to send your friends back in? They all want to congratulate you on your win" She said with a smile

"Um... I'd like to be on my own for a little while, I'm quite tired"

"That's okay Jack, Ill just say you are sleeping and rather not be disturbed." Marie smiled softly before leaving the room.

I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off into a dreamless sleep.

Kim's POV

We were standing down the corridor a little way away from Jack's room but close enough that we would see when the nurse came out.

"Marie" I called when I saw her. She turned to face us, then when she recognised us she walked towards us.

"How is he?" Rudy asked.

"He's going to be okay, he was just a bit exhausted, I'm afraid he requested no visitors for the time being as he is very tired and would like to get some rest, you will be the first ones inside when he wakes up again" And with that Marie turned and walked away.

Marie's POV

I walked straight up to the desk and called the police. I asked for a meeting with an officer at the hospital, within ten minutes, we were standing in the corridor talking about Jack's father. They needed to hear from Jack himself. I went into his room to see Jack asleep, I didn't want to wake him but the sooner he got this done, the quicker we could put his father behind bars.

"Jack" I called as I gently shook him. His eyes slowly fluttered open.

"M..Marie" He questioned tiredly.

"Yes, Jack, sorry to wake you but there are two police officers here that would like to talk to you. Shall I send them in?" I asked, when he nodded and I gave his shoulder a friendly squeeze then left and told the officers they could go in. I noticed Jack's friends watching as the officers entered, I tried to walk away before they could ask my anything but Kim ran up behind me.

"Marie, what's going on? Why are they going into Jacks room?" She babbled.

"It's okay Kim, they just want to ask him some questions" I reassured her. Ten minutes later the officers emerged just as a man walked up to the desk claiming to be Jack's father. The unknowing receptionist told him Jack's room number. I saw him walking towards the door. I quickly alerted the officers and the three of us ran into Jack's room to see the man leaning over Jack with his hands on his neck strangling him.

"Get away from him" I shouted as the officers pulled him off, one held him whilst the other put handcuffs on him and lead him out of the door. Of course Jack's friends saw and came running up to me.

"It's okay, you will have to ask Jack later, it is not my place to tell" I put my hands up in surrender then walked off.

The next morning.

"Hi, Jack. You called?" I asked.

"Um... Yeah, I was wondering, when they get here could you send my friends in?" He asked quietly

"Of course Jack!" I said pleased. I left the room and walked down the hall a little way to see his friends huddled on the floor asleep, I shook Rudy's shoulder and told him they could see Jack, his face lit up and the group quickly entered Jack's room.

He would be going home later today but where would he go? I smiled when I heard him and his friends laughing.

So that's it. Jack's dad has gone to prison.
