Caroline lied down on leaves and broken branches that were stabbing at her back. Her heart beating faster than it had ever before. Trying to catch her breath she turned her head to the Hybrid laying down next to her. His chest rising sand lower as he tried to catch his breath like her.
Caroline slowly got up to her feet her legs still week. She picked her pants off the ground sliding her legs into them. She picked up her torn blouse and held it up looking to see if there was any way to salvage it. The shirt was now in shreds and looked like a animal had attacked. Well an animal did attack it if she was begin honest.
She turned around to Klaus who already was dressed and finishing off putting on his Henley that had tears in it from her. Caroline knew this was going to be hard for her. she didn't want to admit if but if she was beginning honest with herself she knew she felt something more for Klaus now than she did before.
Caroline though this draw to darkness would disappear if she finally gave into him and she did give into him, four time to be exact but now it felt even more there then before. Caroline knew from the moment her lips met his her feeling for him would never be the same again. Sure he was still the Original Hybrid who killed her friends and had done horrible things but now she had seen a side to him, his human side. Caroline didn't see the monster Klaus anymore she could see the human him who he hid behind his monster him. This was the Klaus Caroline had wanted to see from the moment she realized she felt something for him and now that she had seen it she was done for.
Caroline zipped her shirt up and turned around to look at Klaus. He was staring at her, his eyes showing sadness. Caroline realized to what she had finally agreed to he would never talk to her again. Se would be rid of him he would never come back. The sudden realization hit her hard and made her even step back.
"I made you a promise love and attend to keep it." Klaus said taking a step closer to her. Caroline shot her eyes up and looked at him not sure what to say. "I will forever leave you alone and you can finale be rid of me now." Caroline felt like she was about to break down. The words hit her hard and she was regretting this.
She would never talk to him again once he left. She would never she or hear from him again. She would not have to worry about her feelings for him or if he would be touring her friends. She had no idea what to say all she did was stare at him. The fabric of her blouse fell from her hands and landed next to her feet.
"I did tell you once that I attend to be your last love. I do still plan for that to be true love what ever it takes." Klaus said steeping closer to her. "I will not chase after you anymore love. I will wait until you are ready. I will wait for the day when you come to my doorstep and ask me to show you what the world has to offer."
Klaus stepped in front of her and leaned into side next to ear. "Paris, Rome, and Tokyo Caroline." He whispered into her ear. he pulled away and looked at her face. her eyes closed and her mouth open a small gap between her lips. Klaus bent down and grabbed the blouse pulling it to his face and smelling her sent at it. Standing up again he placed a kiss on her cheek. "Good bye love." He said, before zooming off out of Caroline's sight.
Caroline opened her eyes and her hand flew up to where he kissed her cheek. A tear had fallen from her eye that she had been keeping in until he left. Caroline was happy that the offer was still there for her to take and she knew one day that she would take him up on it. She would end up on his doorstep and let him show her Paris, Rome and Tokyo and until then those places would stay a mystery to her. she would wait until she was ready then would find him. Caroline looked down and noticed he took her torn up blouse.
"One day." She said smiling, her light shining for the hole world to see.
Klaus watched her light ignite off her after the world fell from her lips. She took off no longer after, Klaus smiled knowing that she was telling him one day she will show up at his doorstep. His dimpled smile came out as he repeated her words. 'One Day'
