Kanda's POV:
He could no longer watch birds flying without thinking of her; he can't hear them chirp their song without remembering her laughter. The first time he saw her, he thought she was an akuma and so he attacked her without mercy or hesitation but before he could kill the supposed threat, she managed to pin him to the ground and shove a letter in his face that verified that she was one of them, there for not an threat. He's seen her around a few times over the past couple of days after she had arrived but never really paid any attention to her. The last time he saw her was when he truly saw her for the first time. It was in the middle of a battle, her wings appeared out of no where, wrapping around him and the bean sprout like a protective shield against a pointblank explosion. As soon as the danger had passed, she shot back into the sky to take on the threat. When it was all over and the last akuma fell dead, her excitement was so contagious that it caused a slight smile to spread across his face, her smile bright and her laughter freely spilling from her lips. But now if I want to see her, I have to look at the birds.
