Fifty Shades Shattered
Chapter 30: Death to the Hag
Christian
Taylor was trying to get me to cool down after our running this morning, but I had a bad feeling that something was going to happen. I was wound up tighter than a yo-yo and he was worried I was going to snap. I was currently in the gym sparring with Bastille. Ana and the children were upstairs in the apartment. It has been almost two weeks since our talk about my wealth. Of course I was even more wound up because our new baby had come a week ago causing a media explosion on my family.
Ana and I barely made it home safely due to the number of photographers following us. It was a good thing Taylor had been driving because I would have run them all over. I mean I know there is more news worthy items than the birth of a baby. I mean what about the oil crisis or the war raging in the Middle East. There are so many things more important than our daughter. Everyone wants the first picture of the new addition, but Ana has been very clear that until Jack is out of the picture it's not going to happen.
She hasn't even released the fact that we had a daughter to anyone other than our close family, and they found out in person. It hurt her mom that Ana wouldn't let her take any photos of the baby due to it not being safe. Of course we had family photos done, but will give them out once things are better.
"Mr. Grey, Mrs. Grey is requesting for you to get home," Taylor says bringing me back to the present just as Bastille kicks my leg out from under me. I land flat on my back looking up at a smirking Bastille.
"Yes, I guess I should get home. Thanks for the workout," I mutter as I rub my back. I should have been more focused. Taylor rides up with me a new thing since security has been doubled and enforced down to the T.
"Christian, good you're here," Ana says as she tries to hand me Teddy.
"I need a shower," I mutter declining our son.
"Yes, so does your son," she says handing him to me. I look down to notice he has marker and coloring stuff all over him. I look at her with a puzzled look and she just points to the hallway.
"Fine," I say as I walk to the hallway bathroom and undress him.
"Daddy, bath in your room," he says clapping. I look out the door to see Ana working on cleaning up the mess he made and head to the master bath. I run just the right amount of water, add some bubbles and put him in before getting undressed and joining him.
"Don't splash," I say when he begins to splash water toward me.
"I was wondering where you two went," Ana says as she joins us in the bathroom. She sits down on the floor in front of the bathtub and watches as I bathe our son.
"How has your day gone?" I questions as she puts her hand in the water.
"It was good. Teddy had a good morning, but then he got into the art supplies. Grace met with her teachers and they went over her lessons with her. Emmalin ate and slept majority of the morning. I swear she is the best little baby," she says smiling. "Did you have a good workout?" she questions as I smile back at her.
"Yes, went running with Taylor and then got my butt handed to me by Bastille," I say laughing.
"I saw on the news about your running," she mutters softly as she takes Teddy out of the bath and wraps him in a fluffy towel. "I'll get him dress and you can meet us for dinner," she says as she takes our clean son to change.
I pull the plunger on the tub and head to the shower. I get in and turn the water setting on the hottest setting to get it to work the muscles in my back. I was hot and clean when I got out of the shower and dressed in casual wear.
Ana had the two oldest children seated at the table, and Emmalin in her bassinet next to her. They were talking about going to the park the next day as I walked in. "You feel better," she asks as I sit down.
"Yes, thank you," I smile toward her as Grace goes into detail of her day. I listen to both the children talk about what they did as we eat chicken and rice. I just can't get over how much my life has changed. I am so very thankful for Ana being the one person who saw me for more than the person I had been. Ana saw me as someone who she wanted and I am so glad she did.
After dinner we head into the media room. Grace and Teddy begin a movie; Ana sits down next to me on the couch with Emmalin. I pull out my laptop and go over some emails, look over the new plans for the Houston project. I see an email with an attachment and click on it. The video was of me this morning on my run. There was a note at the end that made me mad. 'Grey, shouldn't you be protecting that family of yours not running away.'
"Taylor, I need you in the media room," I say as I click on the speaker button.
"Christian," Ana asks worried. I just shake my head as she calls Teddy and Grace to follow her. She is leaving as Taylor and Sawyer enter the room.
"I got this email," I say as I show it to them. Taylor gets on the phone and starts talking with Barney as Sawyer calls Welch. We talk and work on the email for the next hour only to learn it came from and IP address outside of Seattle, but we got an address. We got an address to a house, maybe Hyde will no longer be an issue.
***Shattered***
Ana
I quickly take the children out of the room. I know if Christian is calling the guys to him it is important. I want to go back and demand answers, but I also know Christian needs his space to work through his issues at times, and this was one of them. The whole thing with Hyde has been causing him grief. I was worried when he began asking me about me loving him if he was poor or rich. I know deep down Christian knows I love him for him, not his wealth.
"Hey, I thought you might have gone to bed already," he whispers as he slips his arms around my waist.
"No, I was finishing up with Emmalin," I say as I turn around to face him. He looks as if he had been running his fingers through his hair for some time because it was sticking out in weird places.
"I need you," he whispers huskily into my ear pulling me out of our baby girls' room. He leads the way toward our room as he is about to close the door, Teddy yells. We turn around quickly and run to his room. Teddy is standing on his bed crying.
"What's the matter?" I question softly as I pick up our son. I hug him to me and feel the problem. "It's alright Teddy," I say softly as I point to his bed. Christian looks to the bed only to see the puddle in the middle of the bed.
"Come here, son," Christian says as he takes Teddy from me and leads him to the bathroom.
"Everything alright ma'am," Sawyer says running into the room slightly out of breath.
"Yes, Teddy just had an accident," I say as I finish stripping the bed.
"Oh, I'll take the sheets to the laundry room. Have a good night Mrs. Grey," he says as he takes the sheets and leaves. I wipe the plastic cover down and begin making the bed. I have the duvet on the bed when Teddy and Christian return. Teddy is fast asleep in his father's arms. He gently lays him in his bed and covers him up. We both back up out of the room quietly and close the door slightly.
"He was having a nightmare, and he got scared," Christian says as he takes my hand in his.
"I thought it was that or he just forgot to use the bathroom before bed," I say softly as he pulls me into our room.
"God, I missed you today," he mutters into my hair and he smells me.
"I saw you several times throughout the day. I even got to watch you bathe," I smirk at him as he chuckles before pulling my sun dress over my head. I am now in my bra and underwear. He removes his shirts and pants leaving him in his half tented boxers.
"I really need you right now," he whispers in my ear as he kisses my neck and reaches around me to remove my bra. I shudder in anticipation at what is to come. I haven't been bleeding, but it has only been a week since I had Emmalin.
"Christian, we can't have sex," I mutter softly dying of wanting him so badly right now.
"Are you bleeding?" he questions as I barely shake my head. "We can do other things," he says as he pushes me onto the bed.
"No, I'll help you out tonight," I muster the strength to say. He looks up into my eyes as his open slightly larger than normal. He allows me to turn him around and push him up onto the bed removing his boxers as he plops down. I smile as I see his enormous enlarged dick flying at full staff. It amazes me to see it because I know that I am the one that causes this to him.
"I see you are ready for me," I say as I bend down and use one of my fingers to swirl the small drop of pre-cum that has found its way out of his cock around the tip of it. I feel him shudder slightly.
I wrap my hand around his cock and begin to stroke it gently up and down. I look to Christian to see his eyes are half open watching me. I wait until he closes his eyes fully as I take his cock into my mouth and begin to torture him with taking him fully in and moving my mouth in and out. I feel his hands find their way into my hair as he takes control of the in and out. I don't think it was very long as I feel him start to spasm.
"I am going to cum," he grunts out as he tries to remove himself from my mouth, but I just continue doing what I was doing until I feel the warm liquid squirting into my throat. I take him in as far as I can and ride out his wave until he is finished. He pulls me up into his arms. I lay there thinking how lucky I got when I fell into his office. After some time he picks me up and lays me down at the top of the bed, and begins to remove my panties.
"No, not tonight I am fine. You needed that more than I need it," I say as I pull him to me.
"Hyde sent me an email. It was a video of me running this morning with a note about me needing to spend more time protecting my family instead of running," he begins and I turn to look at him. He has a worried expression on his face.
"Okay, was there anything else," I ask urging him to continue.
"Welch was able to track down the IP address to a home outside of Seattle. Taylor went with a team to raid the house," he stops and I see a tear slip out of his eye. It must be bad. "They found Elena dead in the house. Hyde murdered her and left another message that you were next," he says as he pulls me as close as he could get me. I let him cry into my shoulder, I wasn't sure if it was for Elena or me, but he needed it.
"So, Elena," I mutter quietly once he stopped.
"Yeah, I guess she crossed paths with Hyde at some point. I don't know. I am worried I won't be able to keep you safe," he says as I realize his crying was for me.
"Christian, you have a whole team here to protect us. If something did happen it wouldn't be because you failed. Hyde is going to get what's coming to him, don't worry about that. We just need to stay aware and alert," I say trying to sound positive and assertive.
"Right, your right," he says as he kisses my forehead. I wasn't sure if it would be fine or not, but right now we needed this. Christian needed to be reminded he had the best people watching over us. They wouldn't let anything happen to us if they could stop it. Yes, we would be safe for now. I slowly allow my eyes to close as sleep takes me. I would worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
