Fifty Shades Shattered
Chapter 31: Hyde Storm
Ana
I have had the busiest week of my life. Ugh! I will never ever go through another person's belongings to get rid of them, but I had to make sure that none of stuff Elena had would be tied to Christian. I thankfully found all of the hidden crap she had collected as collateral damages. She was one hell of a sick bimbo. She had hundreds of pictures of Christian ranging from his teenage years till he quit submitting to her. All of the stuff was hidden in a wall safe behind the headboard of the bed in her dungeon.
I found flash drives of videos, actual photos and even piles of cash. I took everything out placing it in a banker's box before the moving company came to move all of it. Christian had found a buyer for the house so I had to have the company come fast to get rid of the furniture and all. I decided to donate most of the furniture to a women's shelter along with her clothes. I did keep all art, or anything collectable for future auctions. I kept her jewelry out and placed it with the art. I had rented a small storage to place the items in.
"Ana are you almost done?" Christian asks as he picks up the box from the floor. I look around the room I was in and felt empty. The house alone seems empty and void of any life. It was almost as if no one had even lived in it.
"Yes, this box though is yours," I say as I place a hand on it.
"I told you I didn't want any of her things," he snaps before he lets me finish.
"Its stuff she had of you. Christian she kept all kinds of crap to keep you in line," I say softly trying to stay calm.
"Oh, I knew she had things, but not this much," he mumbles.
"There is a lot of cash in the box as well," I smirk as his eyes open wide. "Don't stress about it, I plan on donating it to a good charity," I say as I follow him out of the house. I watch as he looks back at the house before getting into the SUV.
"I'm glad that is done," he mutters as he takes my hand in his. I was thankful it was done as well. I watched the landscape as we drove back to our home.
"Ana are you ready to leave?" Christian yells up the stairs as I frantically put my heels on.
"Christian we aren't even running behind," I snap as I come down the stairs, but stop on the second step as I see all of the kids waiting for me. He was holding Phoebe as Teddy and Grace were standing beside him.
"Happy birthday mommy," Teddy says as he holds a balloon in his hand. I lose my scowl and give him a huge smile as I finish going down the stairs.
"Why thank you?" I say as I take the balloon from him. Grace holds up her hand where I see a small cupcake. I laugh as I see not a candle but a fake ring with a huge plastic rock.
"Wow, I even got jewelry," I say smiling as Christian kisses me. I take Phoebe from him as the kids reach for my hands.
"Mommy we made you breakfast as well," Grace says as I follow them into the dining room where our family was waiting for us.
"Happy birthday Ana," everyone says as I feel the tears forming in my eyes. I couldn't believe how things have turned out. It has been almost 4 months since I had to deal with Elena's property, and things seems to be going so well that I have to remind myself that Hyde is still out there waiting for us to let our guard down.
"Are you having fun?" Christian asks as he comes up behind me as I watch the kids playing in the backyard.
"Actually, yes," I say honestly as he slips his arms around me.
"I know how you feel about surprises, but I thought this would be alright," he says softly into my ear. I smile at his loving ways.
"This was nice. We both are busy, so having the family here in one place is nice," I say smiling as I see his mom coming toward us.
"I still can't get over all that has happened this past year, but it seems that it has only brought you too closer," she smirks as I smile. Yes, Christian and I have had a rocky year, but we have come out stronger in both our relationship and love.

Christian
"Honey, I have to go to work," I say as I try to wake Ana up because she wanted me to.
"Can't you stay home?" she questions as she pulls the pillow closer to her head.
"I wish, I told you I need to go in to help Ros settle an account. I should be back before lunch or shortly after," I say as I kiss her forehead and slap her behind.
"I'm up," she shouts as she leaps up slightly crashing into my chest.
"Oh, sure now you're up," I mutter laughing as she lightly pushes at me.
"I would have gotten up, there was no need to get physical," she says smiling and rubbing her behind. I head into the kitchen as I see Grace and Teddy sitting at the counter eating pancakes.
"Is mom up?" Grace asks as I sit down beside her.
"Yes, she just needed a little convincing," I say as I hear Gail snort.
"Have I told you home much I love your pancakes?" Ana says as she takes a piece from Teddy's plate causing him to laugh when she sits beside him.
"Mommy, my food," he mumbles with food in his mouth.
"I thought your dad told you how important it was to share your wealth with those you love," she says softly kissing his head.
"Yes, but my food," he mutters again causing me to smirk. I didn't have worry about him not eating he loved his food and didn't like sharing it at all.
"I have to get going," I say as I stand up giving everyone a kiss and smile as I walk to the door where Taylor was waiting for me.
"They'll be here when you get back," he says as I look back once more to see Ana and the kids laughing and eating. Taylor was right when I came home they would be there waiting for me.
The drive into the city was boring, but I was able to get through some important emails and sent some new ones out to PR for different events I had scheduled. I wasn't watching where we were when Taylor slammed on the brakes.
"For God's sake Taylor," I snap as I look forward to see huge billboard with my picture on it and the words, 'I'm coming for you BABY BIRD.' I freeze slightly as I see Taylor pulling out his phone and mumbling some words into it.
"Hello," I hazily say into my cell.
"Do you like the billboard?" the person on the other line questions me as I almost drop my phone.
"What do you want Hyde?" I snap.
"I would calm down Grey; you aren't the one with all the moves. I can see your beautiful wife and three lovely children from where I am," he snaps at me. I place the phone on speaker to allow Taylor to hear. "I would hate for them to get hurt because you can't play nicely. I mean Elena thought she could stop me from taking my revenge, but boy was she mistaken. I knew your team was pretty smart, but man they aren't doing a great job holding down the fort," he snap as I hear a blast in my ear and then silence.
